I awoke with a start, for the 5th time tonight, to find that Jax and Marry are both still asleep.

I smiled, looking up at the room.

There were bars around each bed that I didn't realize we're there until now. I looked around and found no windows.

Suddenly, the door opened.

"Kids?" I heard Dr. Adelinde

"Shh. Its just me." I said, petting Marry's hair in comfort.

"Oh. So I see you've heard the news?" She said, kinda wilting when she did.

"Yea, we didn't take it well." I said, sleepily.

"Yea, Dr. Kim can go overboard sometimes. We won't threaten you, but you guys can't leave." Dr. Adelinde said.

I nodded my head in understanding, accepting the fact that we're prisoners.

"We do need to do experiments on you, but it's only one." She said, somewhat smiling.

"What's the experiment?" I ask her, kinda freaking out on the inside.

"We will be turning you three into animals of your choice...well, not by choice, but by the answers on a test." She said, handing me three sheets of paper.

Dr. Adelinde got up off of the couch and walked out the door.

"Please, don't be mad at me. I'm just the messenger." She said, before closing the door and locking it.

I looked at the test to find it a bubble sheet. There were no answers on the entire thing.

"What is this?" I asked the empty room.

I felt Jax stir and I smiled sleepily at him.

"Good morning." I said, smiling.

"Hmm." He said.

"Did you have a nice sleep?" I asked him, letting him sit up.

"M-hm." He nodded, giving me a smile, like a little kid.

"That's good." I said, smiling tiredly.

"Did you sleep at all?" He asked, a little concerned.

"A little. I didn't trust anyone here, so I stayed up to keep you guys safe." I said, looking away.

"Thanks." He said, giving me a small hug.

I looked over to see Marry waking up.

"Good morning, Marry." I said, patting her head.

"Morning." She said, with a smile.

She looked around and her smile dropped.

"So, last night was real?" She asked, scared.

"Yep. But we survived through it. As long as we have each other, we will be ok." I said, smiling at her.

Jax smiled and put a hand on my head.

"Sleep." He said, leaning me back onto the bed.

"Ok." I said, closing my eyes, but as soon as I did, the door opened.

"Good morning, my children!" Dr. Kim said, smiling.

"Come this way, we have a lot to discuss." She said, holding open the door for us.
