I close the door once they follow me inside. I look at them and "I feel connected to you two and have no idea why I am not scared.  Now, the stories I have read talk about how to shift back into your human self. However, before you do that, let me get a couple of blankets."

I look behind me and have both of them following me up the stairs. I go to the linen closet and pull two blankets out and towels out. Then I go to my grandparent's room and pull out two sweatpants and t-shirts from my grandfather's. I walk back downstairs. I walk into a space in the back by the kitchen. I walk into an attached bathroom. I set the towels and clothes down in there. I walk out of the bathroom and trip over one of them. "You two need to give me some space. I can't keep tripping over you." I walk to the center of the room and look at them. "Now, come over here by me and sit." I have one sit on both sides of me. "I am going to put these blankets over you. Then I will go sit by the door." They look at me as I cover them. I then go by the door. "Now, in the books I have read, they say for the wolf to imagine what they look like in human form. Think about the color of your eyes. Think about your face. Think about your hair. Now, imagine the shape of your body. "

The next thing I know, they are starting to pop. I see them begin to shift. It takes them about 20 minutes before they are back in human form.  I have no idea why I feel so connected to them. I look at them both, and they look at me.

Byran, who is six feet three inches tall. He has brown hair looks at me and says, "Does your book say anything about voices in the head saying 'MATE'?"

Byram, who is an inch shorter had blond highlights in his brown hair, looks back and forth between both of us, "Thank you. My name is Byram, and this is my twin brother, Byran. I am not sure exactly what happened to us."

"Did you say, mate? How can that be? According to the books, I am too young to know who my mate is. Why the hell did you attack and kill Dr. Schmong? What pack do you two belong to? I seem to have a million questions popping into my head now?"

Byram said,  "It wasn't my brother or I who killed Dr. Schmong.  He had us meet on that trail because it wasn't supposed to be an often-used trail.  He knew we were going to shift. When he told us about what would happen, we honestly thought he was crazy. We always knew we were test tube babies.  We were contacted to meet Dr. Schmong, who took us to that location. He stated it would be private, and he helped us shift. That is what he did."

Byran then took over, "He all of a sudden told us to hide. We ran into bushes and hid. Then he was attacked by another wolf, and all those people showed up. Then that wolf took off. We started to run to Dr. Schmong in our wolf form. He talked to us in our heads while gasping for breath. He told us to not come out. He said run and stay hidden. Those people saw my head come out of the bushes. came running at me swinging sticks.  We ran back into the forest. We stayed hidden until I felt you at the cemetery."

I looked at them and said, "I think tonight we should get some rest. Then, tomorrow, we head to Dr. Schmong's house and look for answers. I am sure we will find some there. Now, both of you take a shower and get dressed. I will make us something to eat. I am also pulling out a broom, mop, and bucket. You tracked mud inside, and it needs to be cleaned up."
