Dear Lord,

my God,

Perfect Savior,

Holy One,

You know my heart

You know the heart

of the one You called

to their soul's abode.

I cry out to You.

My fingers, they clench

in my heart's anguish

for your servant

of whom the dead was friend.

Hold on to your slave,

oh Lord! Cleave

them close to Your breast.

Wrap Your arms around

them, my God, the Perfect

Loving One.

You know my heart! and that of

Your servant; I beg,

my prayer fervent,

for You to comfort them.

They cry out to You, oh God!

Their soul burns in mourning

for they know their friend

no more.

The family, Perfect One,

comfort them with Your Spirit.

Comfort your bondslave, God.

Comfort me in my anguish for them.

I pray You bring us closer to You,

for us to praise You,

and that

You would use us,

this through us,

to glorify you.

In Your Holy Son's name

I send my plea to You.

If not, then I pray that you come to recognize Him as the only way of salvation from your sins, which earn you God's wrath and just punishment in Hell. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one will go to Heaven but through repentance from their sins and believing in Him.
