I'm shiny

Like a goblet on fire

And my endless desire

Is to burn to ashes

Melt me down!

Fix me to something more!

And so I must learn

To be an instrument

For something more than I was made

And yet retain

My current state

Because I'm warped

But I'm not shattered

And I refuse to burn.
