EDIT: due to things not loading in properly I decided to split the character list from the Prologue

Hi everyone this is my street racing story (complete fiction of course)

Thanks to those who helped me and/or allowed me to use them for the story (you know who you are)

I have edited this now and it is different from the original (under 2000 words to 3000 as of the time of kinda rewriting the prologue. and don't worry I only added stuff and the things from Version 1 are still present in this work)

Thanks to Den1212 and AnonymousHashiriya for writing their stories which in turn had inspired me to write this.

Character list (as they are mentioned) and apologies for any inconsistencies for the characters:

Fumihiro Ikeda Age 18 and he looks like Alain in the pokemon XY anime but with green cargo pants, and a blue hoodie and a baseball cap and no scarf thingy he also drives a first generation red Mazda MX-5 with a surprise in the form of a tuned Honda B16B engine under the hood and is funny and loud (despite attempts to quell it) and outside of tuning and car he can be quite the klutz his bored (from 1.6L->1.8L) up B16B puts down 215 hp and combined with the fact that the car is gutted and everything is either made of Carbon Fiber or FRP (he has a red FRP hood hence no black hood and a FRP hardtop) makes surprisingly it quick and faster than most N/A cars that are similar in class and displacement

Laura Reynolds Age 18 she has shoulder blade (you know the general area around the shoulder blades) length brown-black hair and is around the height of Fumihiro (can barely fit in his MX-5 with a helmet on) she usually wears jeans and a shirt (she sometimes gets dress coded for wearing"offensive"shirts) and drives a tuned (passed down from her father) yellow Honda Civic (the EK9 model) the engine has only boltons so the displacement remains the same. and generally has a who the f*ck cares attitude towards strangers but quite the prankster around friends and tends to be shy, however when she is racing all of that goes out the window. she is the fastest FWD driver on the mountain

Daniel O'Connell Age 54 he is the team's teacher (they go to the same school), leader/mentor and has a brother and he and his brother are Aussies that love Lancer Evolutions (EVOs for short) he drives a tuned red EVO 9 he is a 6 feet tall man with slightly graying hair, he is really laid back

Anthony Nguyen Age 42 he is a pro rally driver that grew up with the O'Connells and he and the 2 brothers were the ones to start the challenge of dominating the street racing scenes of the USA, Australia, and Japan as well as the Devil's Run Alpine Storm (virtual cookies for those who got the reference) challenge in the USA and rallies in a Ford Fiesta ST. he dies in a rally crash under suspicious circumstances before chapter 1 his son Allen and his wife Alice are in the USA to collect the remains and the Fiesta ST (detuned and fixed up to OEM spec) to bring back to Australia (hint ford focus on the Fiesta ST it will return)

Lindsey Coy age 22 she drives a turbo DC2 integra with 550 hp (high boost circuit map) and usually runs 350 hp (regular mountain pass map), she has a cheery, social personality and loves to play match maker or get couples get back together/work (and she gets it right 100% of the time) and she suffers from insomnia often

Ray Coy age 65 he is considered a drifting genius and drives a blue KP61 starlet with a blacktop 4AGE swap throwing down 170 hp and he teaches Fumihiro how to drift faster. he was a goal for Anthony and the O'Connells when they were still racing locally that they reached after a hard fought race (only due to technical issues) he is the father of Lindsey

Finnegan Tchourbanova Age 22 is 6 feet exactly and has dark blond hair, and is friends with chris and talks with a heavy russian accent (because why not? he is supposed to be russian), he and his brother Aleksandr are known as the boxer brothers. He drives a tuned 2006 blue Subaru STi and is loud and can be err uhh sometimes hard to work with but is very loyal and cooperative with friends, he can be considered a try hard because he likes to be the best at everything (and for most things he is)

Aleksandr Tchourbanova Age 23 is basically a twin of finnegan but is 6 foot 6 inches and has a scar on his forehead and like his brother he talks with a heavy russian accent. he drives a tuned blue subaru GC8 (that is the chassis code) STi imported from Japan, he is calm and collected and drives in a very precise almost mechanical way unlike most of the team

Kotaro Inoue Age 41 is a veteran street racer who owns a Tuning shop and is the main connection to non race grade parts and tires and drives a tuned Honda S2000 and is the father of Takako who is mischievous and clever.  his shop is called NipponR and is famous for having high quality parts and kits (for things like engine swaps) and he takes in requests as well he (or any handpicked experienced employee) also hand crafts everything and signs the parts.  he uses his best friend Seiji Ibaraki, Takako, and Fumihiro's cars as test vehicles for generic (and specialty) parts and kits.

Takako Inoue Age 20 she is Fumihiro's cousin in japan that got Fumihiro into cars she is 5 feet 10 inches and she drives a tuned white ST185 GT4 Celica, she also loves messing with him but knows when he is serious.

Alec Warrenberg age 23 he was one of the fastest racers at the highway with a twincharged Ford Mustang GT350R and the deceased boyfriend of Lindsey he died when a Demon had crashed into his side of the car in a 3 way battle between himself, Nino and Andrew

Andrew Alestoza he drove a Dodge Demon and one of the fastest racers on the highway who is mentally unstable

Nino Rosario age 25 he has a red FD3S RX-7 with 750 hp (highway roll map) to 410 hp (mountain pass map) and utilizes turbo lag to his advantage

Alex Minnegawa age 34 he has a 1750 (1200 before he gave it to Nino) hp (in a highway roll map) or 550 hp (mountain pass map) R32 GTR he dies due to cancer diagnosed 3 years prior
