sorry about splitting up the prologue and character list (and thus potentially causing a lot of confusion)

Italics indicates a persons thoughts (it is written with context telling the reader who it is in mind)

Anything between [ ] indicates texting/E-mail

I will try to answer everybody's questions (especially about who is thinking in a scene)

This story currently takes place in the USA (I will tell you when the countries change)

All specific places and most names are fictional.

In the real world drive safely and follow all traffic laws.

Chapter 1

[Hey Ray The school opens in a day and I want everyone in the class to be acquainted with the mountain pass and the highway as homework can you or your daughter do it at 6:30 PM?

"May I come in?"

"Yeah Dad"

"I have to talk to you about something"

" "Uncle" Daniel has opened a school for tuners and he wants you to introduce the students to the mountain pass and the Highway"

"I-I can introduce them to the mountain pass b-but not the highway"

"So should I take over for the highway?"

"No I know someone who can"

"Ok"

Lindsey

Ever since the crash I can't go to or think of the Highway heck I still haven't fully healed yet

FLASHBACK:

There were 3 cars a blue Mustang GT350R, a bright red Demon with black stripes, and a red FD3S (in that order left to right) were roll racing to decide who is the fastest roll racer in the history of the highway

In the GT350R

"Ok this is it Linds, the race to decide who is the fastest Highway racer ever!"

"I think that You will win because of your new Twin Turbo/Supercharger combo pushing you to 1150 HP and Nino will be second because he will be lighter than Andrew, but not have enough HP to catch us, and Andrew's Demon is too heavy despite having more HP than all of us even if it is by 20"

"Aww thanks!"

Andrew

Heh heh heh You better run because the Demon is going to drag all of you back to H*LL

Outside

The 3 cars come around the turn and Nino honks the horn in the FD3S

BEEP

BEEP

BEEP

As the 3 cars exit the turn everything went south-quickly

As they were exiting the GT350R and the Demon were emitting faint auras (blue for the GT350R and red/black for the Demon) in the shape of a snake and a Demon and the FD3S didn't emit an aura at all.

Andrew had went on the gas too early causing the Demon to oversteer and crash into the GT350R (think of Shinigami's side press combined with the pit maneuver) and push the 2 cars into the wall and mangling the GT350R while narrowly missing Nino's FD3S by mere millimeters time had slowed down:

Alec and Lindsey:

"What the F*CK?"

"get as close to the center as you can!"

"AHHHH"

Andrew

Heh heh heh I feel like a GOD!! Prepare to go to H*LL and face your judgement Alec Warrenberg!! Heh heh heh

Nino

"What the?" "I'd better call the paramedics and get the F*CK outta here"

(Lindsey didn't know about this car being involved except for at the very end)

SH*T the 2 cars have "awoken" at the wrong time and the Demon definitely lives up to its name, it's aura is filled with nothing but malicious intent and the Mustang had awoken purely to try and defend its owner and It won't be good the Demon is much heavier than the Mustang, I have to get there in time to help c'mon Rachel

outside

As Lindsey lay there lying in the GT350R she could suddenly see the auras around her

Lindsey

Huh? A Demon and a Serpent? Wha? The Serpent is fighting the Demon?!

Outside

The Demon and the Serpent auras were fighting on top of the husks of the 2 wrecked cars and while the Serpent was fighting valiantly the Demon soon had the upper hand and was dragging the serpent in a downward spiral

NO I'm too late but I have to get there, there's still a chance that Rachel and I could help!

Outside

He put his foot down, unleashing all 1200 HP that the R32 GTR had in an attempt to reach the crash victims

Lindsey

Huh a R32 with Gunmetal Grey wings? How beautiful and so pretty, am I dying? is an angel coming for me?...

When the paramedics find the 3 (Andrew, Alec, and Lindsey) they found Andrew's corpse smiling like a maniac, Alec's corpse shielding Lindsey from as much damage from the driver's side and Lindsey sobbing quietly and babbling on about an "angel R32" and how she saw "auras"

Lindsey blacks out and later awakens to find out that her Boyfriend Alec is dead and that she barely survived the crash

END OF FLASHBACK

He pulls off a tarp covering a car in his garage revealing a Bright red FD3S RX7

"Heh I guess you're coming out of retirement buddy"

As a blue 2016 Mustang GT and a black 2016 Camaro SS were racing at 180 KPH on the highway, a red blur stalks them and then flashes by,  a C5 Corvette and a 2018 R35 GTR Nismo were racing at 250 KPH later and in much the same manner the red FD3S stalks them and then passes by like a red comet, as the Red Comet streaks towards the end of the Highway it comes up on a blue R34 and a chrome silver MK4 Supra and a matte black EVO 9 racing at 358 KPH unlike before the FD3S flips open the popup lights and signals that it wants to race and pulls level as they slow down so they can have an even start

Nino

ahh yes everything is just how I remember  If I wasn't racing at the mountain or with Alec and Andrew it was with Nico (blue R34), Max (chrome silver MK4 Supra), and Olivia (matte black EVO 9) it's going to be a very hard race, looks like I have to rely on the agility of the FD3S more than ever since they probably have 950-1000 HP and even with the Max Boost setting I only have 800 HP (the 750 is his maximum with a safety buffer of 50 HP) heh let's do this the only way we know how: flat out

as the 3 reached the "end" of the highway they were faced with a fork that both led to the "start" of the highway

"Right?!"

"Or Left?!"

all 4 of the cars had dive-bombed towards the right side of the fork and the FD3S had managed to gain a significant lead thanks to the other 3 needing to slow down more due to all of the extra power. The 4 cars were weaving through traffic and while the other 3 cars somewhat sluggish with the weaving the FD3S was gliding along like a water skier. as the loop had ended and bringing them back to the "start" all 3 of the cars were tailgating the FD3S and trying to gain precious slipstream so they can get back to top speed as fast as possible

Nino

Go right ahead I can just slipstream all of you back easily

as the 3 cars were behind the FD3S waiting for one of them to overtake Nino's FD3S Nico lead the charge in his R34 capitalizing on its brutal acceleration to place as much distance between himself and the rest to prevent them from trying to exploit his weak top speed (between all 4 of them), followed by Olivia who had tried to slipstream Nico because while his top speed was average (between all 4 of them) and his acceleration was in a similar situation he was second to Nino in terms of keeping his top speed for as long as he could, Max had been brake-boosting in an attempt to negate the cost of his great top speed: his acceleration, and as soon as Olivia went for the overtake he had followed suit trying to get the jump on Olivia so he could catch Nico seeing as his R34 is the only car that he could effectively slipstream off of (Nino's and Olivia's cars are too small) he was successful in his plan and was on Nico's bumper and was waiting for Nico's speed to max out before attempting to attack the R34

SH*T I'm maxed out already it won't be too long before Max catches on!

Max

Now!!

The Supra pounces on the R34 and it is clear roads for the Supra.

Back with Nino:

as Olivia passes Nino the 2 accelerate at the same pace and quickly charge for Max and Nico.  The 2 fly by they catch Nico and his poor maxed out R34 and pass him. as the 2 start to chase Max's Supra Olivia feels something wrong

Olivia

Huh? why am I slowing down? my foot is flat to the floor and I'm in sixth gear and the motor seems fine... 

!!!

you've got to be SH*TTING me a boost leak? now? welp I'm out of this race.

Olivia puts on her hazards and lets Nino and Nico pass by and Nino goes to catch the Supra and his agile FD3S was slowly, but surely reeling Max in as he loses speed in his inefficient yet adequate dodging pattern versus Nino's graceful pattern.  

Max

This is it this is the run where I shatter my old record of 375 KPH to pieces and at this point I don't care that Nino is on my A*S I just want to shatter 375 to pieces

As the 2 continue to race they turn into near invisible blurs and Max's Supra awakens, A chrome silver Lion aura bursts from the car (kinda like Takumi's wings) and charges forward 

Max

Yes! Yes! Yes! somehow I know that Leo and I will break our record of 375 KPH... wait did I just decide the name of my Supra after 8 years of owning it? 360, 365, 370, 375, 380, 385, 390, 395, 400 KPH YESS!! beat that!

Nino was watching absolutely stunned, "Jesus christ did Max just make a new record?! welp while I came second it was worth seeing Max rewrite the record, too bad Olivia had issues"

Meanwhile the racers Nino,Nico,Olivia, and Max had overtaken

"COMET?!"

Nino

"Woohoo it definitely feels good to be back in business!!, I missed this!"

and that is Chapter 1 how was it? apologies if it seemed boring because the flashback will help explain some events later in the story
