Velvet POV

(y/n) and I were playing out in the courtyard while the new first years arrived, (y/n) started to get fussy and I knew exactly why (y/n) had just started teething. "Here you are, sweetheart." I said as I got his teething toy out of the small cooler I brought with us and handed him the toy, "Well well well, what do we have here. Looks like Beacon's got a rodent problem." A boy said, suddenly he grabbed my ears and pulled on them, "OW! STOP IT!" I said as I tried to get him to let go of me, "Oh is the little bunny gonna cry?" He said I couldn't do anything all I could do was let this happen hoping that he'd get bored and leave. I just looked at my son hoping that he won't remember or have to go through this. "Let her go." Professor Goodwitch said as she made him let go of me, I immediately picked up (y/n) and hugged and kissed him over and over.

"We're home." I said as I wiped the last bit of tears from my eyes, "Well you two are home...early, what happened? Why are you crying?" Coco asked, "H...How, i...it's nothing." I said, "Velv please talk to me. If not for me then for the baby." She said as she took (y/n), "Some jerk was messing with me, normally I could handle it, but not with (y/n) around. Not with my sweet baby!" I said as I began to cry, "Sounds like you need a night away from everything. So I want you to go out tonight and do whatever it is you do when you have time to yourself." She said, "But what if he needs me?! I should stay here." I said, "No go, I've got (y/n). I'm sure he'll be fine without you for just one night." She said.

Coco POV

"Bye-bye honey bun! Be good for Mama Coco while I'm gone. Oh, I love you so so SO much!" Velv said as she kissed (y/n) over and over again, "Alright Velv go, I've got this." I said, "Ok bye sweetie Mama loves you!" Velvet said as she left, "Ok bud how about we get you some dinner and then a bath." I said.

Velvet POV

I decided to go shopping to relax a bit, "Oh, (y/n) would love that." I said as I looked at a stuffed bunny, "Maybe I should get it for him. I mean we were both there and he did have to watch what Cardin did to his mama." I said. That's when I saw it.

About two hours later I returned home and found (y/n) and Coco asleep. (y/n) was sleeping on top of Coco. "Well, I guess I can give this to him tomorrow." I said as I put (y/n)'s new stuffed bunny on the desk along with my new "Remnant's Best Mother" apron before getting changed and went to bed after I returned (y/n) to the center of our beds. "Good night honey bun. Mama loves you so so much." I said as I kissed his forehead.
