"What!?" She asked; frissonly, baffled, petrified and startled.

"I'm telling you, just wake up and bathe before his mother come in and take a glimpse of her daughter-in law" Ummy answered, sniggering. "And if you like, you can go and ask Mama wether i'm telling the truth or not"

Ummi gave her a sullen glare and fretfully pull her self up from her bed and exited the room, without uttering a single word. She was out of words sef.

She prowled the obstreperous rooms and parlours of the house, scrutinizing every crevice and corner looking for Mama when a voice called her name and she halted in front of Mama's quest room.

"Ummi is that you? you've grown up Masha Allah" the woman asked, grinning from eye to eye.

She looked up and her throat quenched. The woman sitting at the edge of bed gisting with Mama is a replica of her not-sure husband; smiling at her.

"Yes Mami i'm the one, Good morning." She answered fretfully, feigning a smile. She greeted Mama "Ummi make sure you look for me in 10mins time" Mama said sternly.

"Ok Mama" She answered tentatively and Sauntered back to her room; ruminatively.

She entered the room and sprawled on her bed. She can only hear their hubbub under hypnosis when Ummy barged in.

"Amarsu ta Ango, you should get your self ready by now" She smiled cockily.

"Just leave me alone Ummy, or else you'll see my otherside. You should try me and see" Ummi threatened.

"Ahhh! Don't panic baby, I'm sorry. give me his digits so that i can call him, may be he can soothe you" Ummy giggled, scavenging for Ummi's phone.

"Don't you dare call him, I want to be alone, just leave my room" She hissed and yawed from their side.

She gazed at the window pensively when the door creaked ajar and Mama intrudes. DOOM!!! Her heart beats beneath her lungs. Mama curiously looked at her and sits beside her." Whats wrong with you Ummi?" She asked sympathetically, patting her shoulders.

"I'm okay Mama" she answered haltingly, her voice tremulous. She yanked from her side, avoiding her gaze.

"Ummi you're not! I'm your mother you should tell me, who can you tell if not your mother. I'm your best friend and secret beholder right? So just tell me my dear"

"Is it true that they......"she trailed off.

"Yes my dear the wedding had been solemnized.We should all take heart, you should go and bathe before visitors started trooping in" Mama answered.

"Mamaaa!"she blurted and started crying.

"What is it Aysha?"Mama asked, baffled at her sudden outburst.

"Whose wedding Mama?" she stuttered in between sobs.

"Husna's own, get up! Even the Amarya is not this sentinental" Mama teased and laughed. "Just go and bath, i'll send Zulai with your breakfast"

"Ok Mama, thank you" she hushed and entered the toilet, wiping away her sentimental tears with her thumb.

"Where is our Amarya?" Ummy enters the room and side hug her.

She shove her off and continue wearing her clothes, she's not in the mood for all makeup things.

"Ummi look it was just a prank, I wanted to wake you up so i just captualized the idea, and it worked." She sniggered.

"What you did was treachery Ummy; you did it vilely, what if i confronted Mama with this issue? What will she think?"She sniffs in between sobs."Or i stupidly call him and ask him why,
Don't you think it will be embrassing??" She groaned and gloomily sits on the vanity stool besides her.

"Ya ilahi!  Look Ummi i'm so sorry, i never thought it will be this serious" she lamented. "When i came to wake you up, I saw you snugly sleeping on your bed so the idea just somersaulted in me and i have a shangaing prowess uno, and before i unveil the truth you were just out of sight". Ummy lamented. "But i'm very sorry sis" she added.

"It's okay Ummy, lets go and have our breakfast its already pass 8, I'm famished" she added langorously and traipse to Mama's room.

"Amina i thought you'll not follow Mummy, I've already gave up" she pouted, scrutinizing her; checking wether she have done any damage there.

"Hhhhh horyt, go and come back, alot of gist awaits you"She sauntered to Mama's room, greeted her and met Ummi in her room.

"Gist me about it" she grinned intriguingly.

"Can you believe it?.."

"Tohhh Al-amin was here since wednesday with his Maami, they're Baba isma'il's family." She smiled sheepishly. "Our family friends" she added, grinning.

"Hehehe this girl, you left me behind while all those things happen. Anyways we're leaving on sunday, I have to be scrupulous and realize wether he really loves you or is it an enshroud; within this days, i don't want you to live a depressed life again my dear" Meeno stated hugging her.

"Lol okay, lets go to Baba Hamxa's house.Ya Husna and the brides maid are all there"

"Ok lets go baby, but wait where's Ummy? We should leave together"Meeno reminds her.

"Ummi go and call her, we're heading to Abuja they should hurry up please" The egoistic Yaya Fatsuma(Baba's elder sister), ordered sternly.

They were lagorously walking inside their house."wait! Aysha is that Al-amin over yonder?"Amina asked spikily.

"Yes, but who's that girl? She's not my relative, infact i never see her until today"she answered, curiously looking at them, they were chatting and laughing fascinatingly.

"Hey chill up Babe. Let's go, they're waiting outside; I don't want ya Fatsuma to humilate you admist yan kai amarya" said Meeno, trying to cheer her up.

"Ok" was all she said and they hushedly entered the house. Ya Husna and Mama were crying emotionally, Baba too was just holding back his, to be strong as always. Seeing them crying debilitate Ummi and they both enveloped in a hug and cried hysterically.

"Mama we have to go, they're waiting since" said Ummi between sobs.

They were separated with energy and pepper. By 4:30pm their tyres clacked on Abuja highway.

They arrived safely, thats when she realised Al-amin's car was behind their's through out the trip.

They've already bid Mama and Baba goodbye. They came here because Mami is one of the yan kai amarya (brides escorts), so from here they'll leave for their house.

"Ummi look at that girl she always clings to Al-amin, they came together fah" Ummy informed, gesturing at them.

"Hokay sis, you no get problem i'll do that ASAP" Ummy stated and scuttle near where they stood, waiting for Mami.

She just hissed and enters her massage log, where she saw 15msgs; 10 from her secondary school classmates congratulating her sister while five from Al-amin.

A:Hi! Where have you been? I've looked for you in every crevice and corner of the house, I've called you but you didn't pick, hope all is well? Call me please, ASAP. I'm yearning to see you.
