Wilbur tapped his foot impatiently on the cracked floors of the jungle temple. He checked his watch, brow tightening as he took in the time. 2:24. He said that he'd be here at ten past two. Wilbur thought to himself, frowning.

Echoing footsteps alerted Wilbur. He slid into the shadows of the walls and held his breath as the footsteps grew louder and louder.

"Will?" A voice called, and Wilbur relaxed, moving away from his hiding spot as he recognized the voice.

"Hi, Bdubs." Wilbur said.

Bdubs's eyes widened as he caught sight of the brit. "Will! I'm so sorry, Dream held us back for a meeting and I had to stay and I was delayed-"

Wilbur cut the man off by holding up his hands. "It's ok, Bdubs, I was just stressed that you had been discovered or something."

"It's fine." Bdubs said. "But I've got quite a lot of info."

Wilbur nodded. "I'm listening." He said.

"There's a spy on your side." Bdubs said. His dark-brown eyes were filled with worry. "And Tubbo has been kidnapped by him."

"We know that already, Bdubs." Wilbur said quietly. "But him, you said?"

Bdubs nodded. "It's good that you know about the traitor." He said. "And yes, him. I've heard Dream and Sapnap refer to the spy as he, but that's all I can get on the spy. On the other hand-" Bdubs paused to take a breath. "Today, Dream took Tubbo to negotiate with Tommy."

Wilbur held up his hand again. "Let me guess. He wanted the discs." He said darkly.

"Yes, he did mention something about discs." Bdubs confirmed. "But this is where I'm a bit confused. What discs? And why does Dream want them?"

"Tommy holds possession of two discs, Cat and Mellohi." Wilbur said. "These two discs originally came from our world - our old world." He explained. "And Dream wants them because he's Dream. He likes and wants power." Wilbur said.

Bdubs nodded thoughtfully. "I see." He said. "But let me continue. Basically, Dream's deal was that Tommy would hand over his discs, or Dream would kill Tubbo."

Wilbur sighed. "And let me guess again. Tommy handed over the discs." Wilbur knew Tommy would do that. He valued his friends too much.

But Bdubs's answer surprised him. "No, actually." He said. Wilbur raised his eyebrows, and Bdubs hurried to elaborate. "Grian stepped in. He told Dream that no, Tommy won't give up the discs."

Wilbur sucked in a quick breath. "Tubbo...?" He asked quickly.

"Is safe, don't worry." Bdubs said quickly. "Let me explain. Grian told Dream that he wouldn't hand over the discs, and then Dream ordered for us to go back. It's because Dream said, a couple days ago, that if Tubbo didn't work, he would use Grian."

Wilbur's mind pieced together the sentences at once. "So he was planning to use Tubbo against Tommy for the discs..."

"And if that didn't work, he would capture and use Grian against Tommy." Bdubs continued. "Which is also why he didn't execute Tubbo."

"One thing I am wondering..." Wilbur murmured. "Why Grian stopped Tommy, knowing Tubbo could die."

"Grian couldn't be the spy, if Dream wants to use him." Bdubs said.

"But what if they are working together to get the discs?" Wilbur asked.

"Well, you do have a point there." Bdubs gave in. "But I don't think so. You weren't there when Grian told Dream no. His... aura changed somehow. I thought I saw a flicker of fighter spirit in his eyes, which is rare." Bdubs said. "I think he was preparing to fight."

Wilbur sighed. "Maybe. And you're probably right, you know him better than I do. Anything else?" He asked.

Bdubs paused. "Nothing. I'll inform you when something else happens, ok?"

Wilbur nodded, and he patted Bdubs on the back before the two parted ways.
