TZUYU'S POV

Everyday of my life, Jungcock and I became closer and closer. We always hang out every lunch hour and even in Saturdays. Usually, he goes inside the house and we would play board games and such. Our friends are teasing the two of us, but as much as possible, I would ignore it because if I won't, my feelings might develop.

Usually, in classes, me and Jungcock would choose each other as each other's partner. He's making me happy.

But the fact that he already likes someone is making my heart sink. I still remember that carving on the tree. Who is that C? I'm still thinking who that C is.

By the way, Sana is becoming this flirty playgirl inside the campus. Every week, just like Jimin, she has a new boyfriend. I don't know what to say, to be honest. I talked to her last time about it. I asked her why is she toying men and I heard thoe most ridiculous and stupid answer.

"You told me that there are many men out there."

That's not my point, tho. There are many more men out there, but that doesn't mean that she has to toy them. That's not how she moves on with Tae.

It's already August 31 and tomorrow is Jungcock's birthday. I'm thinking of a gimmick, a surprise, rather.

So, I called his friends, but Jimin and Tae weren't here. Jimin is with his new girlfriend and Tae is with Irene.

"What kind of surprise are you thinking of, Tzuyu?" Namjoon asked me as he crosses his legs.

"I don't know, so please help me." I shrugged both of my shoulders. "I'm not good at this." I pouted and Hoseok jumped to the couch and sat beside me.

"Well, why do you want to surprise Jungkook?" He poked my cheek and teased me even more. Aish.

"You want us to help you, but you have no idea how to do a surprise." Suga crossed his arms and legs. He looked at me with his cold face.

I rolled my eyes, "I don't know what to do!"

"Why don't you just give Jungkook a simple gift? A gift that is made by you will bring him joy." Jin suggested.

I frowned, "That's too cheap."

"It may be cheap, but Jungkook will appreciate it so much." Namjoon smiled, showing off his dimples.

"What gift? I'm not even good at drawing!" I said in frustration.

"Jimin will help you and as far as I know, Chaeyoung can draw. You can ask help from her." Suga said and Hoseok teased him.

"Suga, why do you know that Chaeyoung can draw? Have you been stalking her?" Hoseok grinned teasingly. I laughed at his childish heart. Suga closed his eyes and raised his middle finger. "Aigoo, Suga-ya, don't give me--"

"If you don't want my middle finger, then stop saying nonsense." Suga cut him off. Hoseok just pouted.

"Why don't you give him an explosion box?" Jin suggested and my eyebrows crossed.

"What's that?" He fished his phone, searched something ang gave it to me. I watched the short clip and I was just freaking amazed as I watch it. I gave him back his phone after watching the short clip.

"Can I do that? That looks extremely hard." I told the four. "Are you sure that Jimin will help me?"

"Of course he would help you. If he won't, Jungkook will punch him." Namjoon assured me. "I will call Jimin now."

"Why?"

"So he can buy the materials." I just went with what they want me to do. I followed their lead. After a few while, Jimin entered the room with his hand wrapped around Yuju's shoulder and the other hand is carrying a paperbag full of art materials.

"Really, Jimin? You really brought Yuju here?" Suga asked him.

Jimin chuckled, "Aish, don't be jealous, Yoongi." He threw the paperbag to Hoseok. "There. I'll be going now--"

"Stop right there." Jin blocked the couple's path. I wanted to laugh because Jin is towering over Jimin and Yuju. "Yuju, please go. We need Jimin right now."

"What are you saying?" Jimin's eyebrows crossed.

"It's alright, Chim." Yuju waved her hand as goodbye and Jimin was just left dumbfounded. He glared at Jin and threw himself at the couch that I've been sitting.

"What do you want me to do?"

"We'll explain."

Is it just me or Jungcock and Cheng Xiao is really getting closer? It's his birthday tomorrow and I don't know if I still want to give him the gift that I made. Well, Jimin and Chaeyoung helped, but I still made the majority of the box.

I must admit that I feel somewhat jealous when I see them always together today. I get the fact that me and Jungcock is close since I don't know, last week? We're close.

But he's hanging out with Cheng Xiao often. I'm starting to think if Jungcock's crush is Cheng Xiao. Whenever I remember Jungcock's carving on the tree, I remember Cheng Xiao. Cheng Xiao is Jungcock's crush, for sure. I am certain about it.

I sighed at that thought and held my chest. I talked to my beating heart again. Stop growing those feelings. You'll only hurt yourself. Why is my heart so dumb? It's as dumb as Pabo.

"Tzuyu-ya!" I was startled to see Jungcock. My eyebrows crossed upon seeing him. Wow, this is a miracle. I rolled my eyes at him. "Ya, are you avoiding me?"

"I'm not talking to you." I crossed my arms and legs.

I saw him smirk at my peripheral view, "I know that you can't resist my charms, best friend." My heart dropped instantly. I was 'best friend zoned'. He put his arm around my shoulder. "C'mon..."

"Shut up, dickhead." I stood up, but he held my hand. I faced him and he's already pouting.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Go back to Cheng Xiao." I took my hand back aggressively and walked away, but I felt him hugged me on my back. My world stopped for a minute. Calm your tits, Tzuyu. It's just a back hug from a best friend. I told myself and tried calming down, but my heart won't stop from screaming.

I felt him bury his face on my back, "Are you jealous?" I looked at everybody and they're all smirking. This shithead is making a scene. "Please don't be jealous."

"I won't be jealous." I know that I'll be eating my words. "Let go of me."

"No." He buried his face more and my heart is just ready to explode. We didn't say a word. For a second, he did both. He calmed me while he's making my heart explode. How can he do that?

From afar, I saw Yein glaring at the both of us. I don't want any wars, to be honest and if Jungcock will keep on doing this, there will be one. Though I know that Jungcock and I mustn't care for what Yein is thinking or something. She's Jungcock's ex-girlfriend, why would she care? She's being pathetic and desperate. Can't she just accept the fact that Jungcock is already over her? Tsk.

I felt Jungcock escape from his hug. I knew that he won't let that hug to last long. I faced him and he half-smiled. He scratched his nape and he fucking looked so damn good while doing that. "Tell me what to do, so I can make it up to you--" we all heard a knock from the door. It opened and revealed Cheng Xiao.

"May I excuse Jungkook for a while?" Jungcock's eyeballs went back to me. He was about to speak up, but I cut him. I told him to go out with Cheng Xiao. It's not sarcastic.

Well, it's 50% sarcastic. I really don't want him to go with Cheng Xiao, but it must be something important, so I let him.

I'm really certain about the fact that Jungcock and Cheng Xiao has something between them.
