TAN'S POV

After a week I came back to New York. I didn't go to my apartment instead I went to PLAZA HOTEL directly from the airport on my bike. Damn! missed her so much, just wanted to see her.

When I reached the hotel gate, my blood started to boil when I saw her hugging a guy. That was Luca. I know him. I know everything about Anna. He is like a brother to her but still, I can't see her with any other guy.

I stared at her until I realised that she caught me. I turned my head, wore my helmet, and started my bike but I didn't go home.

I waited at the backside of the hotel for her to protect her going back home safely. But again I saw her with that Luca guy. He dropped her home.

I went to my mansion, about to go to bed but my phone rang. I saw the caller ID it was Aiden.

Aiden is my right hand more like a brother to me. He knows everything about me he even knows the feelings I have for Anna. Before going to Paris I even told him to put his eyes on Anna from time to time to make sure she is safe because I know no one can take care of her more than Aiden.

"Hey Tan, Anna reached home safely". He informed me.

"I know". I replied.

"How do you know ? Who told you ?". He asked confused.

"I'm back ". I replied.

"What ?. When? ". He asked.

" Will you stop asking questions like a possessive girlfriend now. I'll talk to you tomorrow". I said annoyingly and ended the call.

I was still in a bad mood because of that Luca guy. I just can't see her with anyone else.

Last month after her shift, when I was walking behind her, a guy with a flower bouquet in his hand stopped her near her apartment building and said something to her. She replied but I didn't hear anything because I was looking at them from far away. She hesitated a little but took that flower from him and went to her apartment.

I walked near that guy and punched him in the face. He fell to the ground. I pull him up back by his collar. His lips were bleeding because of the punch.

"Who the hell are you?. And what the hell were you telling her? ". I asked him in anger.

The pretty boy started shaking in fear. "N-nothing....I was-I was just- just asking her out. I am sorry sir". He shuttered.

" Did she accept your confessions"? I asked curiously.

He shook his head " No...no...no sir.... she didn't. She said.....she likes someone else. She took those flowers just because I told her to at least take them". He said in one breath.

" If I'll see you near her again I'll not think twice before blowing your head ". I said and pushed him away. He quickly nodded and ran away from there. Lucky him that I was in a good mood because of Anna's reply.

A small smile spread on my lips because I know that 'the someone' she was talking about is me. ' That's my girl'.

I went to bed. I was so tired as It was a long day. In just the last 24 hours I came back from Paris, saw Anna hugging that Luca, have got information that the bastard's son is here and also that a jerk is trying to mess with me.

Aiden informed me that a guy is selling drugs here. Here, in my home town, without my permission. He must be a fool or maybe his life is not dear to him.

I'll first take care of that idiot who is trying to mess with me because it's not a big deal. After that, I'll focus on my personal revenge. Finally, after 8 years I have got this chance and I'm not gonna lose it.

ANNA'S POV

Finally, it's the day I never wished for. I didn't want to attend the ceremony but I can't take a day off.

The ceremony started at eight. The hotel decoration was done perfectly. We all workers were busy. Luca was looking so nervous but I believe in him he can do it. There was a lot of security and even paparazzi were out there.

Guest started to fill the hallway. We were all serving them. They were all wearing expensive dresses.

A limo stopped in front of the hotel. There he comes. As soon as Prince charming stepped out of the car his face glammed up with the continued flashes of the paparazzi.

He walked inside like the world is his runway, with an old man beside him. That man seemed to be in his late fifties. I guessed he was Tan's father.

He was wearing a black suit, black leather shoes, watch on his wrist. He was not looking any less handsome than KIM TAE HYUNG. He was looking ethereal more like the dream I see every night. When he walked past me to the aisle it felt like my life moved away with pressed feet. I move my eyes from him when I realised that I was literally checking him out.

After a few minutes door opened and Ezra walked in with her father. She was wearing a white floor-length dress with a bouquet in her hand, looking gorgeous as always.

When she reached the stage Tan forwarded his hand towards Ezra to help her climb the stairs. They stood next to each other, looking perfect couple. I acted like it wasn't a big deal but it was really breaking my heart.

They exchanged rings. Hall filled with everyone's cheering and clapping sounds. Between those cheers, only I was able to hear the breaking sound of my heart.

I was hiding thousands of feeling behind my fake smile and no one noticed, this really does work.

The ceremony comes to an end. I was standing beside Luca soon Tan and Ezra walked toward us. His one hand was in his pocket. He looked at me for a second then turned his gaze towards Luca.

"You did a great job Mr. Luca. It was more perfect than I expected ". Tan thanked.

" Thank you so much sir . It's my pleasure". Luca replied. He took my hand in his and raised it a little. "Sir, it was all her idea". Luca added.

Tan bend closer to me and moved back. "Anna ? Is that what is written on your uniform nameplate right?". I nodded.

"Miss Anna I really appreciate your work it was excellent". He complemented with a smile.

"Thank you so much, Mr. William". I replied bowing a little.

He moved his attention towards Luca. "I want to talk to you about something in private, may I ?". Tan asked.

"Sure sir". Luca replied.

"Excuse us, ladies". Tan said and they both walked away. Ezra and I were left there.

"You are looking so beautiful today Miss Ezra". I commented to her. She smiled at me. We talked for a while then Tan come and took her with him.

Looking at them from behind I thought.....Losing hope is the worst. Losing love is the worst. Losing yourself is the worst but today I lost everything at once.

I snapped out of my thoughts when Luca shook me, looking so excited. "Guess what Ann?". He asked.

"What Luca?". I asked. Not in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Mr. William just gave me two cheques of a million for both of us because he liked our management so much. I can't believe it". He exclaimed.

"What? Isn't one million too much to accept? ". I frowned.

" Yes it is, I told him that I can't accept it but he said it's nothing ". Luca replied. "He is a billionaire, for God's sake Ann". He added and handed that cheque.

Luca dropped me at the apartment today again. I entered the apartment. Took a warm bath. Wore my comfy clothes. I tried to be calm. I tried to be normal. I tried my best to keep my promise but I failed. I broke it.

I cried my heart out in a corner of my room. But there was no one to listen. There was no one to comfort me. I needed a shoulder to cry on but there was no one. I was all alone. I never felt this lonely before.

I wished my parents were alive.

I lost him even though he wasn't even mine. He was my only happiness. He was the only one who makes me smile without even knowing it. He is the one I have ever loved.

He may not be my happy ending, but he will always be the best chapter of my life.
