ANNA'S POV

I quickly checked my call log history.
I was right. My dear boss Mr. Won William did call my dear blackmailer Mr. Tan William.

I sighed looking up as Ezra and Won walked inside discussing something seriously. Soon they both stand beside my bed. A nurse disconnected my IV and Ezra handed me Won's hoodie and a pant from his car as it was finally the time to get discharged.

I didn't have any other options other than to change the patient's dress because last night's dress ripped off when I fell. It was so awkward but I silently decided to wear it.

I quickly changed and came out. Won wasn't there but Ezra was. I walked near her with oversized clothes while folding my sleeves as it was too long.

"Ezra, where is Mr. William?". I asked when I didn't see him.

" He went to get your discharged paper and also....". She paused. " Forget it. Doctor strictly told you to rest this whole week. He also said you have overworked yourself. Now you have to .....". She said changing the topic but I cut her in between.

" Ezra.... And also what?". I asked curiously.

" Anna it's nothing". She said with a small smile.

" Ezra please tell me. Where did Mr. William go?. What are you hiding?". I asked again.

" Anna you are quite stubborn". She glared playfully before continuing. " Won said he is going to report to the police about what happened yesterday with you, after your discharge".

My eyes widen at her words. " No". I uttered unknowingly.

Ezra took a step closer to me and placed both of her hands on my shoulders. Looking down at me as she is taller than me.

" That's why Won told me not to tell you about that. He knows you will get worried. But it's okay. Don't worry they will not harm you again if we'll report them". She tried to calm me down but how can I.

What if police find Tan. I mean he said he is in the mafia. That means he does some illegal works. What if he'll get caught?. No, it can not happen. I won't let this happen. I shook my head in no furiously at that thought.

I grabbed her hands from my shoulders and took them in between us. Squeezing her palms I looked down at it.

" Ezra ". I called but my voice came out like a whisper. As I raised my head to look at her she nodded. Waiting for me to continue. " Ezra, please tell Mr. William not to report. Please". I pleaded with hope.

"But why?. They were trying to hurt you and also the person who saved you had shot three persons. One of them died on the spot. They are dangerous. He wasn't a police officer. They were gangsters, Anna. They deserve to get caught".

" Ezra". I stopped for a moment before speaking and took a deep breath. "Ezra......He-he was......Tan". I said grabbing her hands more tightly.

" WHAT?". Ezra frowned her brows but I wasn't able to talk further.

" Tan! The guy you were talking about last night if I'm not wrong". I nodded in response. " But Anna he is a gangste-".

" Ezra please I can't explain everything to you but please stop Won for now please. He'll listen to you". I gulped after speaking as my throat got dry because of the fear.

I didn't realize that my nails tugged into her skin until she whimpered and I quickly let go of her hands.

We turned to look towards the door when we heard the footsteps it was Won who was trying to control his laugh while looking at me. He pointed his finger towards his hoodie which I was wearing. I looked down at myself and understood why was he laughing. " This suits you well". He started laughing while walking towards me with files and medicines in his hands. I faked a smile at him.

" Anyways, you are discharged but someone already has paid your bill. Do you know who was that?". He asked handing me the file and medicines.

Tan. It must be him.

" Maybe Luca". Ezra spoke. I looked at her as she replied instead of me. She's smart. She must have got it right.

" Maybe". He said. " Let's get going ladies". He added.

" But Won we can't let Anna drop her at her apartment. She lives alone there. It's risky". Ezra said.

" It's alright I'm used to i-". My words were completely ignored by Won. "Who said I'm dropping her back to her apartment. You and Anna both will live in my apartment until she gets better". Won declared.

" No. She'll come with me to my apartment. I'll take care of her". Ezra said crossing her arm on her chest.

I giggled looking at both of them as they both were fighting because of me.

Soon a familiar voice interrupted the cute argument. "Anna". We all turned to look towards the owner of the voice. Aiden! He had a flower bouquet in his hand and a wide smile on his face that I witnessed for the first time.

He handed me the bouquet before pulling me into a hug. " I'm so sorry Anna. I'm late". He said still not releasing me. I didn't hug him back neither try to break it.

Why is he pretending like he is close to me?. Must be Tan's new game.

He pulled out from the hug still grinning. " I'm Aiden. Anna's friend. Nice to meet you". He said shaking hands with both of them standing beside me. Ezra gladly introduced herself but Won didn't seem like he is happy to meet him.

" Thank you to take care of her. Actually I was out of the city last night". He said looking at Won.

"Oh, it's nothing". Ezra replied.

" Let's go then". Aiden said facing me again. I quietly nodded.

"May I know where are you taking her?. Actually it's not safe for her to live in her apartment". Won said stopping him from taking me with him.

" I'm taking her to my family house. She will be safe and comfortable there". Aiden replied to Won. I only looked at both of the men, they both were acting weird.

I don't know where is Aiden taking me but I'm sure that I'll be safe there because Aiden never does anything without Tan's permission.

They finally agreed to let me go with Aiden when I assured them that I'll be alright. We all walked outside and bid our goodbyes. Aiden opened his car door for me and closed it carefully when I sat in.

I looked outside at Ezra who was also looking at me. " Please". I mouthed. She smiled and nodded. As she understood that I'm Signalling her to stop Won from reporting to the police.

Aiden started the car and after a long, silent ride we stopped a bit away from the city in front of a mansion. A big. A very big and beautiful mansion.

Getting off the car he opened the door for me too and started walking towards the mansion, I followed him like a lost puppy.

As we reach the main door, some men in all black greeted him. They were all well built and seemed scary. As we both walked inside I glanced at the interior, It was more beautiful than the outside. The walls, the furniture, the decoration was wow. Just wow.

"Is this your house?". Words escaped from my lips as I was busy eyeing the whole place. Trying to capture every single corner in my mind.

I forgot for a minute that where I'm and what I was doing there until Aiden spoke. " This isn't my house". He replied while walking upstairs.

" Then where are you taking me?". I asked but he didn't reply.

After passing by some doors he finally stopped in front of a big door, it was kinda different from all other doors. He opened that door for me and signalled me to get in.

I got inside but he didn't. He was about to close the door behind me but I stopped him. " Wait. Atleast tell me whose house is this?". I asked. I really wanted to know that where I'm staying for a whole week.

" This is Tan's". My eyes doubled in size when I hear his name. " Don't worry. You are safe here". He added when he noticed my tensed expressions.

"Here?". I said sarcastically. " In his house?. With him?".

" Don't come out from this room or try to escape from here". He said coldly, completely ignoring my words.

" You shouldn't worry about it. I'll not go anywhere. I don't have anywhere to go. As you must know by now, I'm an orphan".
