TAN'S POV

Within a few hours, I reached the location that Aiden sent me, with my men. But when we approached, there was no one. It seems like they have recently left this place as some of their belongings were still here. They definitely got the hint that we were coming here.

We checked the whole place and got a broken sim card in the corner. As we were searching for more evidence we got to know that some gangsters own this place. They are threatening and blackmailing innocent people like Mark and making them work for them.

We came back to the mansion at night. Aiden was already there. "Those cowards ran away. There is someone who is giving them our personal information. They knew that we were searching for them ". I said and plopped on the couch exhausted.

"We will find that out. They don't know who are they trying to mess with". I smirked at Aiden's words.

"What about Anna?. Did you dropped her?". I asked.

"In my car". He said playfully wiggling his eyebrows. Trying to make me feel jealous.

I sat straight at my couch and glared at him." I swear to God Aiden. If you agai-". I stopped in the middle when my mobile rang. It was Anna.

'Talking about an angel and here she is. This is the first time she called me'. This thought brought a smile to my face.

" Ohhhhh". Aiden saw me smiling and started teasing. I gave him a death glare before picking up the call.

" Hello".
I said still a small smile on my face.

" Tan- Tan, please...Tan, please save me-". My blood turned cold when I heard Anna's fearful voice from another side of the mobile. She just shuttered. My heart skipped two beats. I stood up from my place.

"ANNA, WHAT HAPPENED?. WHERE ARE YOU?. ANNA.". I shouted.

"Tan I'm - I'm in.... Tan please...". Her voice broke in the end.

" Anna just tell me where are you. I'll come. Anna... hello...hello ANNA....". Beeping sound indicated that the line is dead.

I looked at Aiden who was standing shocked beside me. " Aide-Aiden Anna". I shuttered.

"What happened to her. Where is she?". He asked.

" I don't know. But it seems like she is afraid. SHE WAS CRYING AIDEN". I shouted scared of the thought of losing her.

My heart was thumping loudly. I called her again and again but her mobile was in an unreachable network area.

" But Tan I saw her going inside her building. After making sure I came back here". He said.

" I don't think she is in her apartment. But lets at least check there once". I said.

"Calm down Tan. Let me track her necklace first. We will definitely find her through that. Nothing will happen to her". I nodded.

He opened his laptop and started tracking. I wasn't able to sit straight. Still calling her but the same shit. I was thinking the worst at that point.

Roaming in the hallway I was Impatiently waiting for Aiden to find her location. " Found it". He shouted and I quickly walked towards him.

"Where is she?". I asked and his expression turned into an angry one. He clenched his jaw and glared at me.

"Aiden what happened?. Where is she?". I asked again.

" In Won's apartment".

" WHAT ?". I shouted in disbelief.

He stood up from the couch and grabbed my collar. " I told you. I f*cking told you not to drag her in all this but you didn't listen. I swear if anything happens to her I'll kill you." He yelled on my face.

" You'll not be needed then. I'll kill myself if anything happened to her because of me". I said in a low tone.

He slightly pushing me. " Let's go". He mumbled.

Grabbing our guns we decided to go alone without our men silently. Didn't want to take any risk.

"We'll go in my car. I'll drive". Aiden said still not looking at me. I agreed.

He must be very mad at me but he cares for me. He knows what will be my speed if I'll drive right now.

The whole ride I was hoping that she will be fine. "Anna stay safe. Just for some more minutes. I'm on my way. Please". I mumbled under my breath. Still calling her with the hope that maybe she will pick up this time.

I swear if that bastard tries to do anything with my Anna I'll kill him. I'll make sure to give him the kind of painful death no one has ever think about.

We finally reached the building. I was about to get off the car but Aiden stopped me. " Where do you think you are doing?". Aiden shouted.

"Aren't we going to Won's apartment?". I asked confused.

"Nope. I'm going to get her". He replied.

" What do you mean by that. I'm coming with you?". I asked frustrated.

"Don't be stupid Tan. If Won will see you, everything will be over". He said in calming tone this time.

" I don't care about anything. Anna's safety is more important right now". I said.

"Tan I told you I'm going to get her. Trust me If anything happened I'll call you to come up. Now stick your butts on that seat and wait here patiently". He said and went out of the car.

" Shit".

WON'S POV

After completing my work I was about to step out of my office but I stopped when I saw something shining jewelry near my office door. I bent down on my knees and pick it up. It was a beautiful necklace.

I know this one is Anna's. I have seen her playing with this when she was working.

But that looks like an expensive necklace. How can she afford this?. Maybe it was a gift from someone special. May be from her boyfriend. May be from her manager Luca. He seems very close to her. Or maybe from that helmet guy.

I put that necklace in my pocket with the thought that ' I'll return it to her'. I went to my apartment and took a bath, ordered my dinner from the hotel. I was working on my laptop waiting for dinner's arrival.

Eventually, I thought about Anna's words. She was telling me to call my dad.

'At least you have one' What does that mean. Isn't her father alive?. Maybe that's why she is working two jobs. 'That makes sense but I'm not sure'

Someone knocked on my door and I snapped out of my thoughts. I think it's a delivery boy. I opened my door. I saw a guy. He was like my age but he wasn't a delivery boy.

" Where is she?" He asked.

" Excuse me?. Who are you talking about?". I asked back.

He slammed his fist on the wall beside my door in anger. "Anna. I'm talking about Anna. Now tell me where she is? ". He shouted.

" She isn't here. Her shift ended in the evening. I didn't saw her after that". I replied honestly.

He grabbed my collar. "I'm asking you one last time. Tell me where she is?". I yanked his hands off.

"I told you she isn't here". This time I said in a warning tone.

He was staring at me with full of anger. Like he is going to punch my face in any second.

Suddenly his mobile rang and he picked it up quickly still glaring at me. As soon as he heard something from another side. His expression changed. "What?. I'm coming". He didn't even say a word to me and rushed downstairs.

I don't know what's with this guy. But I hope Anna is okay. I went inside and called her. But her mobile was in an unreachable network area. It means that guy wasn't lying. Something is wrong.

TAN'S POV

Aiden went to check on her and I was impatiently waiting for him. If anything happened to her. I'll lose my mind.

My mobile started ringing. I saw the caller ID it was Anna. I picked up quickly. " Anna... Anna where are you?." I asked in a hurry.

" Tan I'm...I'm here I'm... ". She was sobbing hard.

"Anna... Ann...".
The call ended again.

As my mobile was connected with Aiden's laptop it was showing Anna's current mobile location. It was near her apartment.

How is this possible. Her necklace location is here and her mobile is near her apartment. But she called me and her mobile is with her. She isn't here.

I called Aiden quickly. " Aiden she just called me. She isn't here". I said. "What?. I'm coming". He came back within a minute.

He saw the location and started driving. We reached her apartment. We both ran towards the elevator but it was not working.

" Let's take the stairs. We don't have time". We took the stairs. As soon as we reached her door we grabbed our guns. Ready to face whatever is ahead.

I signalled Aiden that in a count of three we will break the door.
