TAN'S POV

In my mansion's office, I was sitting and working on my laptop. The door opened after a slight knock. I raised my head to see Mark peeking his head inside.

" May I come in Sir ". I nodded in response. He walked near the table and stand in front of me nervously." Sorry to disturb you Sir. But I have a request to ask for ".

I know what he wants. He is definitely wanting to let him meet his family. " Go ahead ".

" Sir I want to meet my family. I really miss them". He said with hope in his doe eyes. I smile internally. 'I was right'

" It's not safe for you out there". I said and he dropped his head in disappointment. " I'll send you with my men for your safety. But you have to come back in two hours. Not a single minute more than that okay?". I added.

A wide smile appeared on his face. "Okay sir. Okay. I'll be back soon. Thank you, sir".

I sent three of my men with him. It's still not safe for him but I can see he was missing his family so much. And I know how it feels like.

After sending him I went outside about to start my bike to pick Anna up but one of my guards came towards me with a small box in his hands. "Sir, your parcel has arrived". He informed and handed me the box. I placed the box in my pocket and made my way towards my destination.

As I reached the office building, My blood started to boil. I saw Anna standing next to the son of that bastard. But as soon as she saw me she came towards me. I was going to drop her back home but she asked me to drop her at the hotel directly.

We reached the hotel. She got off the bike and handed me the helmet back. She turned to walk inside but I grabbed her wrist. She flinched a little because of the sudden touch. She turned around to look at me with her wide-opened blue eyes. I immediately released her hand.

Clearing my throat awkwardly I pulled out the box from my pocket and forwarded my hand towards her. "Ummm.... thi-this one is for you. Make sure to wear it every time". I said with a straight face but I was actually feeling goosebumps all over my body. She hesitated but took it from me.

Thank God this girl didn't start asking questions again. She glanced at me for a second then went inside. I was literally sweating. I drive away from there as soon as possible and stopped in the alley.

'Come on Tan, did you just stuttered in front of her?. It was only a box to hand her and you were literally shaking'

I'm too bad at this couple shits. How am I going to propose to her one day?.

'You are a mafia boss of whole New York city for God's sake Tan'.

I went to my mansion back. I saw my men and Mark was waiting for me. Mark was looking a bit afraid.
'Something is wrong I can feel it'
As I walked near them they all stood up from their places.

" Sir, when we were coming back from Mark's house three cars were following us the whole way. But as soon as we turned towards our mension they stopped and went away". One of my men informed.

"Who were they"?. I asked.

"We don't know sir but we have noted down their car numbers". A man replied.

" Good. Try to find them before tomorrow evening". They nodded and walked away. Only I and Mark was left.

" Do you know anything about them?". I asked Mark. He shook his head in no. He was still looking afraid.

" Don't worry. I'll increase security in your house and from now on don't go out of this mension. Not even with my guards. You got that?". I said and he nodded.

I sent Mark to his room and I went into mine. I changed into comfy clothes after taking a quick shower. And started working on my laptop, my mobile rang. It was a private number. I picked up.

"Who's this?". I asked.

"Mr. Tan William. We got an information that you have our man in your mension. Send him back to us. This is our boss's order". A man said from another side.

"Deliver a message from me to your boss that 'I'm not gonna send him back. If you really want him then talk to me by himself' ". With that, I hung the call.

I knew it, those who were following Mark and my men's are that bastard's men. They didn't seem like other mafia groups. They got my number in only a few hours. That bastard is really doing something big and I have to find it out before he reached us.

I called Aiden because he is great at hacking. " Hey dude what's up?". He asked.

" Aiden I'm sending you a number find its location and send it to me". I said.

" Is everything alright?". He asked.

" I just got a call from that bastard's men. He has found out that we are hiding Mark in my mension". I informed him. "But how?" He asked.

"They followed our mens today. Just hack that number and we'll reach to them through that". I said.

" Yes, boss". He said sarcastically and hung the call.

ANNA'S POV

I was dancing in my room for the last two hours after opening the box. It was a beautiful diamond necklace. It looks so beautiful and expensive. I'm not the type of girl who loves expensive gifts But I'm happy because of the fact the Tan gave it to me.

'I think I'm dreaming. Or maybe I'm dead and now I'm in heaven'

Tan said wear this every time. And this is the only thing I'm going to do without arguing with him. I'll thank him tomorrow.

But wait a minute why did he give that expensive gift to me?. We are not even friends.

Whatever...
I'm so happy today. I'll ask him the reason tomorrow. I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight neither the ghost under my bed

I was so tired since morning but all my stress faded away after looking at the necklace. There is so much work in the office. But Won is so calm. It seems like he is used to it. He seems like a good person. He talks to me very nicely. I don't know why Tan hates him.

I woke up in the morning. I didn't tie my hair today because of what Tan did yesterday. After getting ready I wore the necklace happily and went downstairs by Taking the stairs because the elevator was not working properly since last night.

As always Tan was there on time before me. I walked towards him. He turned his face and his eye laid on my nack. He looked at the necklace for few seconds with a blank face and handed me the helmet.

"Thank you for the gift". I said with a smile.

"Sit". This is all he said. My smile dropped.

' Why so cold?'.
I wore the helmet and sat on his backside.

I wanted to ask him that why he gave me that necklace. But I don't think he'll answer me. As he didn't even reply to my thanks.

He dropped me at the office and went away. He didn't say anything he kinda looking tensed today.

TAN'S POV

When I went to pick up Anna from her apartment she was looking gorgeous with her open long brown hair and she was also wearing the necklace that I gave her yesterday. It was looking beautiful on her.

The actual reason behind giving her the necklace is, there is a tracker in that. She is very clumsy but I can find her now wherever she goes.

After I dropped her she tried to talk to me but I don't want anyone to see me with her because that bastard's men may be having eyes on me and I don't want Anna to be in any trouble because of me.

I was waiting for Aiden's arrival in my office. He has got the location from where that man called me last night.

Soon the door of my office was wide open revealing Aiden. I immediately stood up from my chair. " Let's go Tan. They are out of this city. We can reach them in three to four hours". He said excitedly.

He always enjoys fighting. He must seem like a funny guy but he can effortlessly shot anyone at the center of the forehead from anywhere.

"Aiden you are not coming with me I'm going with my men". I informed and his face dropped.

" What do you mean by that?. Why I'm not coming with you?. I'm not going to let you go without me". He said worriedly.

"Aiden listen to me carefully. Some of our men are coming with me and some are here for Mark. I can't trust any other person at this point to pick up Anna. So I'm leaving you here for her. Pick her up from her office at 05:00 and drop her straight to Plaza Hotel. Today is Friday so her shift will end at 09:00. Look after her till she reaches her apartment. You got that?". I said and he nodded.

He forwarded his hand towards me. "Keys".

"Which keys?". I asked.

" Keys of your bike dude. Didn't you ask me to pick up Anna?". He smirked.

" You little piece of a shit". I yelled and threw a vase from my table towards him but he was quick to run out of my office.
