~August 5th~

It was several weeks later after I turned 18 and I was living on my own, in a new house I moved into and owned now, when everything in my life changed forever...

I had left work and gotten paid for the day before heading home, changing into the clothes that I felt comfortable in, and resumed playing Sonic Forces at the part I stopped and saved at.

I've heard some pros and cons about the game previously in the past but I didn't care what others were thinking or saying about it on social media.

I think it's a fun game to play, and the music is pretty good. Some of the music was even catchy and would get stuck in my head easily!

While I was playing the game, I silently wished I was in the same universe that Sonic was in.

Wanting to help him and fight along by his side too.

I bet it must be really fun, kicking some ass, fighting evil, and going on adventures.

That's the life I've always wished and dreamed for.

And I would live for that.

Shortly after I've beaten the game, that's when I unexpectedly heard the sound of what the Phantom Ruby makes before I was enveloped in blinding red light.

Then...Everything was dark.

And, this is how everything in my life changed forever.

-Now-

When the blinding red light vanished, I uncovered my eyes and blinked a little before looking around my surroundings.

Seems to me, I'm in a city that's in ruins.

Until, I noticed something was off.

First, the people were anthropomorphic animals, which I find really strange.

Second, they're not looking at me weird.

And third, when I looked at the sky, my face dropped in shock.

There was no mistake about it no matter how many times I've kept pinching myself to make sure it wasn't a dream.

It was Infinite the jackal!

"There's no freaking way that this is happening!!!" I thought to myself as I stared at him.

I quickly noticed he was about to attack before looking over and randomly grabbing a weapon that was nearby me before firing it.

Infinite easily dodged my attack, buying me enough time to get away before he fired his attack.

"Hmph...Wise choice, child." He says, as he watched me run away from him..

As I kept running, I accidentally bumped into someone before I fell backwards and landed on my butt.

"Ouch!" I went before getting up to my feet again.

I suddenly gasped in shock when I looked up to see who I bumped into.

Some random cat mobian.

"Oh my chaos! I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going!" I said as I sweat dropped a little when they turned around to look at me.

"It's alright. For now, let's just get out of here. We can talk later..." He says before taking my arm as we began hurrying off.

After we made it to an unknown location, I asked the cat where the bathroom was before he told me.

I thanked him before hurrying off.

When I was done and was washing my hands, I looked at the mirror before I almost shrieked a little in shock.

I'm my own custom character!

No wonder Infinite, the cat mobian I met, or anyone else didn't look at me like a weirdo.

I stood there before staring at the sink, trying to process and figure out what just happened.

Then a question suddenly came into my mind that I didn't think of earlier...

"How in the hell did I get into the game?!"

At that moment, I suddenly remembered that sound of the Phantom Ruby, then the blinding red light before darkness.

That must've how I got here.

That blinding red light.

I sighed as I dried my hands with a paper towel before leaving the bathroom as I thought to myself the one question that was bugging me, even though I just got here:

"Will I be stuck here or returned home?"
