"Hey Kira, just wanted to call and check in on you.How have you been? I understand that the incident involving Dina is hard to take in right now so please call me back if you want to talk about it." ~Liro

The beep at the end indicated that the message was over.

Kira was at her table, her head resting on the table as her phone was right in front of her, replying all the messages she got from dry one but never deleted.

She just listened to the same messages over and over again.

6 pm

"It's Valar.Um, I dunno what to say just that.....I'm sorry if there's a misunderstanding about me and the whole fiancé thing.You see, I'm-" "Valar! Come on over here and give me a massage! I've been at work all day and I'm-"

The message was over.

8 am

"Kira, I'm starting to et really scared of what's happened to you.Please call me back, okay?"-Liro

Beep.

Brand new message, should you like to listen to it?

The voicemail asked.

Without even moving her head, Kira pressed accept.

"Kira, it's Teito."

At this, Kira jolted her head up and sat up, staring at her phone, waiting for the message to continue.

"It's been a while and I beat from Liro that you've been in a depressed state at the moment and I was wondering...... Would you like to go out to eat or something?

I dunno,I'm not the best at gettin girls to like me," Teito said nervously.

Kira smiled, silently agreeing.

"So whatda say? Call me back."

Beep.

Kira smiled and picked up her phone, dialing his number.

"Hey, Teito? Yeah, I'd love to go out to eat."

June 21,2026

Kira's POV

"ALFheim?"I asked, taking a sip of my strawberry smoothly.

We were at Starbucks.I had a peach, long sleeve shirt on and blue jeans, trying to hide the cuts.

"Yep, it's a brand new VRMMORPG that was released about a month ago.And I was wondering if you would like to play it with me since we both have NerveGear"Teito said.

'NerveGear.'I thought, my eyes going hollow. I stopped drinking my smoothie.'Wearing NerveGear again.....'I thought.

Suddenly, the faces of those I killed flashed in my head.I fell back in my seat, causing everyone to look at me.

I was having a panic attack.

"Someone call 911!!!"I heard Teito scream.

I felt a hand touch my check but I didn't know whose since I was starting to pass out.

"Calm down Kira, everything will be fine. Just calm dow-" And everything went black.

Boom!!! How was that shocker? Looks like Kira's having panic attacks now.Find out what happens next chapter!!!! But, since the next chapter is, REALLY, SUPER DUBER, LONG, I won't be able to update it right now but later tonight.
