Happiness- such a dull word for such a vivid emotion. The word seems shallow, we use it to describe essentially everything that has a touch of brightness to it, but happiness is much more. Happiness is a color spectrum, covering simplistic themes of joy to complex melodies of euphoria. The colors in this emotional rainbow are nothing more than chemicals in your body, but they still render you drunk on love, lust, or life. And when your sober heart beats again, you realize where you live and you stop. You stop dwelling on the drug that is happiness and concede that it is temporary in this passing, mortal world.
