Applejack POV

I was playing mario odyssey while out of nowhere i heard i loud crash from outside i got up and looked out of the window seeing a uhh "what is that?" I asked and as if i summoned him Plagg came by my side

"That kid, is definitely not cheese" said plagg inhaling another piece of camembert "no shit Sherlock, what is it tho? Or who is that?" As soon as i asked that

The creature raised its cane and pointed it at the police officers on the street "Let's gamble gentlemen!!" The thing screamed "ohh it's an akumatized person, which means it's our time to shine kiddo" said plagg resting on my head

I smiled "PLAGG CLAW-" i was interrupted by Sam opening the door, without a second thought Plagg hid in my pocket "what is it sam?" I asked nervous

"Your father ordered me to lock you in for your safety if you need anything please contact me through the phone" She said i nodded and she locked the door

"Really Kid? That's a little weird but who am i to judge human logic, now let's go paris won't save itself" i nodded to that "PLAGG CLAWS OUT!!"

plagg was sucked into the ring and i had on a black leather suit and my hair was messy my hat was replaced by two leather cat ears, a black leather belt for tail and i had gloved claws on my hands

"Sweet!" I said ecstatic i grabbed the batoon placed above my cat like tail, as soon as i examined it i saw two buttons i pressed the first to transform it i to a phone like device

The other was to extend its length, i opened my window placed myself ready to launch myself to the weird creature but before i could reach it another body crashed into me "ugh...what happened?" Said the person now on top of me

"Why hello there dotted lady" i said smiling at the girl "oh my gosh I'm so sorry i just got this powers and my kwami didn't really say i needed a license for this" she got up and extended her arm to help me up

I grabbed it and got up dusting myself "no biggie sooo you are?" I asked "uhhh..." she looked at her yo-yo and nodded to herself "I'm ladybug and you are?" she asked

"I'm the amazing Chat noir m'lady" i said grabbing her hand and kissing it "wow....you have a really weird way to introduce yourself Chat noir" i shrugged and grabbed my batoon

"As long as it does the job I'm more than content, what's the plan partner?" I asked she looked around "we need to get to the creature before it does major damage" i nodded and grabbed her by the waist

"Hold on tight!" I pressed the extending button and got us up in the air "see the thing?" I asked as i was looking around "over there with the police officers!" She exclaimed "down we go!" I said making us fall down towards the designated area

We landed safely with no damage, the suits helped soften any fall apparently and it improved our agility and reflexes "And who may you two be? Cosplayers?" Asked the creation that now looked more like a man close up

It had blue akin a mustache a party had a can and six arms each holding up a different colour casino chip "we're here to stop you" said ladybug holding up her yo-yo

"Very funny let's gamble this out if you win you'll have all my chips if i win you'll surrender your miraculouses sounds fair?" Said the gambler, i smirked and looked at ladybug, "sounds easy enough right?" I said to her

"Not really it's our first day on the job" she said i shrugged and ignored her running towards the mad man "CATACLYSM!" i said and my right hand started emitting black particles i tripped and touched the ground with my hand destroying the road

"That didn't go as planned" i said before getting hit by a the gambler's cane "the rules are easy russian roulette with one chip as bullets per game" he said with a wide grin

"What's the catch?" Ladybug asked as i was getting up from the floor "no catches just a honest game, no cheating" he said with a serious face, my ring beeped and i saw one of the 4 paws in it disappear ".... right the cooldown, ladybug please tell me you have a plan" i said looking at her

"Lucky charm?" As soon as she said that an object appeared on her hands a red black dotted string pouch she opened it and pulled out a couple of red chips "you want to gamble as well?"

Asked the gambler, ladybug looked at me and then smiled "yea, i bet all the chips on chat noir's ability to get your cane in six tries" she said

"Six? And what do you get if you win?" He asked "all your chips, and you win our miraculouses, simple enough right?" Ladybug said crossing her legs as she sat on a chair, the gambler smirked and nodded

"This will be easier that expect, come on kitty cat get up and let's get it over with" he said, i got up and skeptically looked at ladybug that just nodded

I charged at the gambler and the first try i was put to the ground with a single hit "ouch...thay actually hurt..." I said i looked at my ring and i still had three paws out if the for i had "one!" Said the gambler

I tried again this time aiming for one of the chips I avoided the cane but got punched "two!" He said, i got up and got in formation

I aimed for another chip I avoided the cane, the punch but got kicked "three!"

I got up and stared at the gambler i couldn't use all my judo lessons here because he didn't really fight by the rules, i then realized i memorized some of his fighting pattern so it was a matter of foreshadowing his attacks

I aimed for the cane avoided the hit by it, avoided the punch, avoided the kick and i avoided the cane again i took some steps back and smirked

I looked at ladybug and nodded "what are you two smiling for? Those miraculouses are as good as gone" the gambler said "yea but we might as well enjoy the gamble isn't that the point of it? It would be a shame if it ends now" i said trying to ease the gambler

He tilted his hat and smirked "you are quite right stray cat, you both are worthy opponents and i will respect that, you're not like those cheaters always trying to find easy ways out of the games" he said

I nodded and headed for the cane again i avoided it then avoided the punch and then the kick, avoided the cane again and the pattern continued

once he thought he had me i stayed on the floor "four! This was getting a little boring" and the moment he turned around i grabbed the cane and got up "HA! we won with exactly two attempts left" i said posing with the cane winking at ladybug

She got up and started collecting the chips from the gambler once she had them all she placed them in the red black dotted string pouch she materialised earlier and tied it on her little side bag

As soon as that was done the Gambler's turned back into a normal person, he was kneeling on the floor "w-what happened?" He asked as i helped him up

"Honestly? I don't know but what i do know is that you're now safe citizen" i said grinning

"Looks like our job is done" ladybug said offering me a fist i did what she did "pound it" she said and i nodded smiling, my ring beeped reminding me i had no time to waste i said my goodbyes and directed myself back home

Time seemed to go by slow as i saw a black butterfly flying the opposite direction of me I did think much about it and let it go

"Kid you did awesome" said plagg inhaling some cheese "i know, i wish i did some things differently but it was somewhat.... liberating to be so carefree plagg.."

"What about the akuma? Did you turn it into normal?" Plagg said floating around "the what now?" I asked confused

"You know the black butterfly that was inthe villain's object?" He said shrugging "black butterfly? How does that work? And how do we even turn it back?" I asked

"The black butterfly is the main villain way of granting other people powers you fix it by de-akumatizing it you know the ladybug yo-yo" plagg said

"We didn't do that? But the citizen is fine so everything should be fine right?" I said praying and hoping we didn't mess anything up

"Kid the akuma will run wild searching for someone else and when it find the new target you'll have another monster to fig-" before Plagg could finish his explanation there were screams and car honks all in the streets i looked out and saw multiple gamblers running whild

"This can't be good...." Said plagg looking as well "what do i do?" I asked "go back out there and save the day, this time de-akumatize the Butterfly as well wouldn't want an apocalypse to happen do we?"

I grinned and nodded "PLAGG CLAWS OUT!"
