Jaan was in her room watching a random sappy movie and eating a bowl full of chocolate icecream. Vaish noticed this and sat beside her.

Vaish: Kya hua Jaan?

Jaan: Kuch nhi hua. Aap mujhe movie dekhne do.

Vaish: Tu yeh icecream ka bowl leke sappy movie dekhne tab hi baithti h jab kuch hua hota. Jab tu bohot kuch soch rhi hoti h.

Jaan: Kuch nhi h di.

Vaish sternly said: Jaan!

Jaan irritated: Achha theek h.

All these talking was going on while the movie in the background wasn't even paused. The movie was playing like a bg music.

Jaan: Mera Sid aur Faiz k saath jhagda ho gya.

Vaish took a spoon full of icecream in her mouth.

Vaish: Go on!

Jaan: Di mai gossip nhi bata rhi hoon.

Vaish: Ab koi nayi baat toh h nhi. Friends k beech toh bohot jhagde hote h. Tumlog bhi toh kitna jhagadte ho.

Jaan: Par is baar serious wala h. Aapko achhe se baat sunni h toh bolo warna jao yaha se.

Vaish: Achha achha mai sun rhi hoon ab seriously.

Jaan: Unhe lagta hai... Scratch it, FAIZ ko lagta h ki mai Avu se jaan buch k ladai krti hoon.

Vaish: Jaan, abhi mai jo bolungi na achhe se sunna. Beech mein mat bolna... Tere aur Avu k jhagde illogical hote h. Kisi ko bhi yahi lagega. Theek h tum log deliberately jhagda nhi krte but deliberately jhagda band toh kr sakte ho. Tujhe lagega sirf tu hi aisa kyu kre but tu ek kadam aage badha dosti k liye kya pta woh do kadam aage badhaye. Tu usse dosti krne ki koshish kr. Ab tumlog bade ho gye ho. Tere life mein aur friends banenge. Sid and Faiz ki life mein bhi aur friends banenge. And ho sakta teri unke friends na bane ya unki tere friends se na bane but ab ladai krne toh nhi baith sakte na. Teko dosti nhi krni h toh theek h but jhagda avoid krna.

Jaan nodded after Vaish completed her speech. Her sister was right atleast she can try to avoid quarrels and she now has another reason to stop quarrels that is Sid likes Avu. She can do this for her friend. But still she was angry at Faiz. He had the audacity to accuse her.

Jaan: Par Di, FAIZ ne mujhe bola ki mai deliberately jhagda krti hoon.
Vaish: Woh tu jaane tujhe kya krna h. Mujhe jo bolna tha maine bol diya.

Vaish then turned her gaze back at the movie which was still going on. Jaan just stared at the air trying to sort out her thoughts. Her sister taught her something very important. She wanted to try her advice. But one thing was for sure, she was offended by Faiz's accusation and was not going to talk to him.

Next day Ashi as usual left early with Aayu, Deep and Deepu. When Munna, Pandit and Swati left the house together talking and giggling, their neighbours i.e., Jai, Avu, Reem and Preeti were surprised to see the three of them.

Jai: Yeh kya h?!!!

Munna confused: Kya kya h?

Preeti: Sab kuch sort ho gya? Kal tak toh ek dusre se baat nhi kr rhe the?

Swati grinned widely.

Swati: Ha sab theek ho gya.

Reem: Achha h. Warna air bohot awkward ho gyi thi.

All of them then went to the college and attended the classes. This time the seniors had less classes and they left home immediately after completing their classes while the juniors had quite a packed day, so Sid and Faiz didn't have the time to talk to Jaan about the matter. When all their classes ended all of them except FaiNat and Sid sat peacefully in the cafeteria. FaiNat and Sid went to the parking to talk.

Jaan: Mai try krungi ki mere aur Avu k beech mein behes na ho.

Sid hugged her from the side.

Sid: I knew it. Tu bohot samajhdaar h.

Faiz tried to hig her too but she pushed him away lightly.

Jaan: Tu toh mere se baat hi mat kr. Tune hi mujhe accuse kiya tha ki mai deliberately ladai krti hoon.

Faiz: Sorry na.

Jaan: Mujhe koi sorry nhi sunna. I'm offended.

Sid sticked his tongue out and tightened the hug to tease Faiz. Jaan released from the hug started walking back towards the cafeteria.

Sid to Faiz chuckling: Tu toh gya!

They returned to the cafeteria and joined the conversation between the others.

Jaan: Aaj Aayu and Deepu ko lene nhi jana?

Deep: Aaj unke school mein sports day ki preparation hogi toh extra 1 hour lagega.
Jaan's mouth formed an 'o' at the answer.

All of them brought their respective snacks and started to eat while talking. Their conversation was interrupted by a girl who approached Raj. Avu turned to Reem and whispered.

Avu: Yeh bandi kon h?

Reem whispering: Tujhe nhi pta?

Humare section ki h. Payal. Us din Raj bata rha tha na uske bare mein.

Avu whispered back: Achha woh.

Ashi noticed that Anu was a little uncomfortable by Payal's presence but Anu tried to act chill.

Reem: Tum yaha kya kr rhi ho?

Payal: Mujhe tum logo se matlab nhi h.

Mujhe Raj se baat krni h.

Raj with a blank face: Bolo!

Payal: I love you. Do you want to date me? Will you be my boyfriend?

Raj: Tumne college k first day bhi yahi kaha tha. And maine tab hi bol diya tha ki mai kisi ko bhi date nhi krna chahta.

Payal: Par kyu? Mujhe laga tum mujhse pyaar krte ho.

Raj stood up from his chair in frustration.

Raj: Mai tumse pyaar nhi krta.

Payal boldly slid her hand in his and intervined their fingers. Everyone in the cafeteria were looking at them. Anu noticed that everyone was looking at Raj and Payal. She was really furious. She wanted to slap Payal's hand away but she stopped herself.

Payal whispered near his ear: Par college mein toh sab ko yeh lagta h ki tum mere boyfriend ho.

Raj: Leave my hand.

Payal spoke a little loudly to make everyone present in the cafeteria hear it: Baby, chhoti si baat ko leke itna kyu gussa ho rhe ho?

She kissed the back of his hand she was holding.

Payal: Sorry na.

By the time Raj was burning in anger.
Payal: Mujhe late ho rha h. Bye!

She left the place happily. Raj was ready to yell back at her but Deep stopped him by telling him not to create a scene. Anu was speechless, she didn't know what to say on the other girl's deeds. Deep made Raj sit back on the chair.

Deep: Tere aur Payal k beech mein kya hua tha?

Raj: Kya matlab "kya hua tha"?

Deep: Tujhe bohot achhe se pta h mera kya matlab h.

Everyone looked at Raj with a little suspension.

Raj: Wow! Tumlog us ladki ki baaton mein aa rhe ho? Tum logo ko mujhpe itna bhi vishwas nhi h? Anu tu toh jaanti h na woh kya kr rhi h.

Anu nodded.

Deep: Humein bata kya hua tha?

Raj: College k pehle din class mein jaate hi mere paas PAYAL aayi thi mujhe propose krne. Maine usey mana kr diya. Phir insta pe mujhe message kr rhi thi toh maine usey straightforwardly bol diya ki mujhe relationships nhi pasand. Toh woh aise act kr rhi thi jaise woh samajh gyi. Usne kaha ok woh relationship nhi expect kregi. Phir normally flirting start ki humne. Par ab toh woh peechhe hi pad gyi h.

Jaan: Aur yeh sab woh clout k liye kr rhi h. Woh college ki popular girl banna chahti h.

Raj: Aur maine use kabhi khud se touch bhi nhi kiya h.

Anu with a little upset tone: Aur ab sabko lagta h ki tu use date kr rha h.

Raj: Ha. Tumlog uski baaton mein mat aana.

All of them nodded guiltfully. After that Ashi and Deep left for Aayu and Deepu's school in Deepu's car.
