Ashi and Randeep were in the library exploring new books.

Deep: Tum konse genres prefer krti ho?

Ashi: Mujhe fiction bohot pasand hai. And usme bhi mystery, thriller and sci-fi.

Deep: Is maamle hum kaafi similar hain. Mujhe bhi thriller stories bohot pasand hai.

Ashi: That's nice. Mere ghar mein aur koi itni books nahi padhta. Mai ekdum bookworm hoon.

Randeep: Mai bookworm nahi hoon but kabhi kabhi padh leta hoon. Mere ghar mein Anu aati hai kabhi kabhi mere saath library. Raj mostly bahar ghoomta rehta hai. Maine toh yaha ka library card banwa liya hai mere liye. Tum bhi banwa lo tumhe mujhse zyada kaam aayega.

Ashi: Ha. Aaj banwa lungi.

They picked the books they liked and went towards the librarian.

Deep: Oh no! Mai apna library card ghar pe bhool gya.. Ek kaam krte hain hum dono mere ghar chalte hain and card leke aate hain.

Ashi: Tum jao mai wait krti hoon tumhara.

Deep: Mai tumhe akela nhi chhod sakta.

Ashi: Phir in books ka kya?

Deep : Mai un librarian ko janta hoon. Woh humari books yaha rakh lenge.

Randeep handed the books to the librarian and took Ashi to the parking lot. Then they went to Randeep's house. They were greeted by Vishakha, Randeep's mom who was doing some paperwork sitting on the couch.

Visha: Randeep tum aa gye? Raj aur Anu kaha hain? Aur yeh tumhari new friend hai?

Deep: Mom mai apna library card lene aaya hoon. Raj and Anu baad mein aayenge Jai and all k saath. Aur yeh Ashi hai humare pure group ki new friend. Yeh Mumbai mein nayi hai toh mai aaj ise library leke gya tha.

Visha: Ohh! Ashi baitho na khadi kyu ho?

Randeep went into his room to bring his library card.

Ashi: No aunty. It's ok.

Randeep's mom made her sit on the couch.

Visha: Kabhi tum saare friends ghar aa jao. Ab itne naye bane hain toh kabhi yaha aa jao saare ke saare. Night stay jaisa kuch kr lo.

Ashi just awkwardly muttered: Ha.

Visha: School time mein Jai, Avu, Preeti, Reem, Randeep, Anu aur Raj kaafi baar krte the night stays. Raat bhar masti krte rehte the.

Randeep interrupted his mother: Achha mummy hum chalte hain. Yeh sab aap kabhi aur batana isko.

Visha: Itni jaldi mein rehta hai har waqt. Achha sun kal Sunday hai toh aaj sab friends ko night stay k liye bula le. Kal sab free hi honge.

Deep : Baad mein jab Raj aur Anu ghar aa jayenge tab baat krenge iske baare mein. Bye.

Randeep and Ashi left the house and went back to the library.

That day Randeep told all the friends that his mother was calling all of them  for a night stay, to all of them agreed quickly. That night all of them including Aayu were at Randeep's house by 8. All of them introduced themselves to Randeep's parents.

All of them sat in Randeep's room, some on the bed, some on the couch and some on the carpet. While the late teenagers were in Randeep's room Aayu and Deepu were playing board games with Deepu's parents. Rest of them were thinking about what to do.

Sid: Koi game khele?

Reem: Konsa game?

Deep: Aaj tak ka sabse controversial game. Truth and Dare.

Ashi: Nhi yaar. Please yeh bohot cliche h.

Even Abhi, Munna and Swati agreed with Ashi.

Deep: Please yaar aise mat kro. Cliche chizon mein bhi maza aata hai.

Avu: Ha maza aayega. Hum ek dusre ko aur achhe se jaan payenge.

After much requests the four finally gave in. All of them sat on the floor in a huge circle. The game started with the dramatic bottle spin. The bottle's question side landed on Ashi and the answer was on Avu.

Ashi : Truth or Dare?

Avu : Truth.
Ashi thought for a bit about what to ask and then thought that asking about the friends would be the best.

Ashi: Tumhare friends kaise bane? Like tum Randeep, Anu, Reem and Raj ki friendship kaise hui??

Avu : Well, that will be long. Sabse pehle meri dost bani thi Reem. Woh kindergarten mein mere saath thi. And jab hum 4th grade mein the tab buddy, Raj and Anu ka admission hua tha. Anu tab se hi mostly humare saath hi rehti thi. And 7th standard mein Preeti di bhi yahi aa gye.

After Avu told them about how she met the five of them she spinned the bottle again and the question was on Sid and the answer was on Faizal.

Sid: Truth ya Dare?

Faizal: Truth.

Sid smirked hearing truth from his best friend's mouth. Faizal saw the smirk and immediately understood that Sid was going to ask something related to Jaan.

Faizal: Nhi. Nhi. Dare.

Sid: Aise change nhi kr sakte.

Faizal: Nhi. Please dare. Meri tongue slip ho gyi thi. Mujhe dare hi chahiye.

Sid: Theek hai.

Sid came up with another mischievous idea.

Sid: Achha. Phir aaj acting kr le. Abhi dada and Vaishu di ki. Woh bike pe kaise bethte h?

Both Sid and Faizal exchanged looks of mischief. While AbhiNavi were confused. Jaan was giggling with Sid and Faiz as she knew what was happening.

Faizal: Toh Vaishu di kon banega?

Sid: Arey Jaan ko pta h na. Woh kregi Vaishu di ki acting.

Sid came and stood between the circle and acted as if he was host of some reality show.

Sid: Ladies and gentlemen aaj aapko dikhaya jayega ek play. Starring Faizal and Jannat as Abhishek and Vaishnavi respectively.

Everyone clapped at the announcement. FaiNat were sitting on the couch, acting like they were sitting on a bike. Faizal acted as if he was riding his bike in full speed and Jannat slid her hands around his waist and back hugged him.

Everyone laughed at the scene infront of them and started teasing AbhiNavi. Vaishu hid her face in her palms and Abhi was slightly blushing too.

Jaan : Aur aur. Movie k time pe dono kaise baithe the.

FaiNat shifted on the couch and sat properly. Jaan wrapped her arms around Faizal's arm and put her jead on his shoulder.

Vaishu: Jaan kuch zyada hi zabaan nhi chal rhi teri?

Jaan: No tea. No shades. Just facts.

Abhi: Aur tum dono jo chipak rhe ho is bahane se?

Faizal: Hum toh bas acting kr rhe h.

Abhi turned the tables and now whole thing changed to teasing FaiNat.

Abhi: Tum dono mera mooh mat khulwao. Tujhe kya lagta h Faizal mujhe kuch pta nhi h?

Everyone else there were enjoying the drama while laughing uncontrollably.

Jaan : Achha ab bas game continue krte h.

The bottle spined again and it was now Raj's turn to choose between truth and dare. The question was from Jai.

Jai: Bol truth ya dare?

Raj very confidently: Dare.

Avu said something in Jai's ear and Jai's eyes lit up with the fantastic dare.

Jai: Koi bhi apni ek ex ko message kr.

Pandit: Tum toh aise bol rahe ho jaise iski bohot sari exes h.

Preeti: Hai hi. Iski shakal pe mat jana.

Avu: Arey bohot ladkiya ghumata h. Tum logo pta nhi hoga but school mein yeh har ladki se flirt krta tha. Hum friends ko chhod k.

Raj: Mai kya kr sakta hoon agar ladkiya khud hi mere peechhe aati h.

Avu hit him playfully.

Jai: Practically dekhe toh ex nhi, itni ladkiyo se flirt krta h toh unme se koi ek. Tu ab peechhe nhi mud sakta dare le liya h.

Raj: Konsi ladki ko krna h?

Jai: Woh hum choose krenge. Phone de apna.

Raj handed his phone to Jai.

Ashi: Par itni raat ko kon jag rha hoga. 1 baj rhe hain.

Raj: Let's see.

Avu: Ashi tumhe pta nhi h par woh ladkiya bhi aisi hi hoti h. Woh log bhi kuch khaas serious nhi hoti.

Jai went through Raj's contacts and chose a girl whom Raj hadn't replied since many days, she was left on seen.

Jai: Isko text kr. Payal ko. Jisko tu mahine bhar se reply nhi diya h.

Raj took his phone and started typing the text.

Ashi: Tumne use itne dino se reply kyu nhi diya?

Raj: Arey woh ladki chahti hai mai use date kru and roz dates pe le jau.

Ashi understood what Raj was trying to say, he didn't want to be in a relationship, he didn't want commitment. She also noticed that Anu was not giving any reaction to all this dare thing. Ashi was slightly confused that why was Anu showing no reaction to her best friend texting a girl. But she decided to not ask any more questions.

Raj:
Hey

Payal:
Hiii!
I missed youu!!
Baby, I really want to meet you.

Raj showed the girl's texts to Jai.

Raj: I am not texting her anymore.

Jaan : Well mai is Payal ko jaanti hoon. Woh tumhe use kr rahi hai. Clout k liye. Tumhe pta nhi hoga but tum college mein kaafi popular ho gye ho already. And Payal tumhe pehle se jaanti hai toh woh is cheez ka advantage lena chahti hai.

All of them noticed that Abhi was leaving the room and Vaishu was going behind him.

Deep: In dono ko kya hua?

Sid, Jaan nad Faizal understood what must have happened. Everyone looked at Sid for the answer. Sid was hesitant at first but he knew that all of them had to know one day.

Sid: Woh.. Bhai ki ex ka naam bhi Payal tha. Payal ne unhe paise ke liye use kiya. Use jab zyada ameer ladka mila toh usne bhai ko chhod diya... Par baat yaha pe khatam nhi hoti. Payal aur uske new boyfriend ki death ho gyi kuch hi din baad.

Everyone of them understood why Abhi went away like that.
