Chapter 35: Principal Assistance

Krupp's Pov:
I look at the window to ignore the scene in front of me. I really didn't expect or want this to happen. Especially not from two students, former and new. "Is that all you wanted to ask?" I questioned, crossing my arms. "Yeah, I just wanted to ask you about Billy," George replied, he was facing down in his chair. "How come? Aren't you and Harold like best friends? Aren't you supposed to be supportive of him?" I asked, putting my feet back down on the ground. "I would be if he didn't handle my confession like that," George spoke, looking up. "What do you mean like 'that'? What did Harold do that made you go all crazy about this Billy person?" I asked again. These boys and their ideas sometimes. They haven't grown out of it. "When someone that you have no romantic feelings for you confesses to you. What do you say? What do you do?" George asked, sternly. Why is he so serious about this? Was it that bad? "Reject them. Just falt out, reject them. Don't sugar-coat it either, just say what's on your mind." I replied. Wait, why am I even replying to these questions? I should have kicked them out of my office at this point! Yet, something is telling me to keep them here for a little while longer. "I see so, maybe Harold forgetting and abandoning me was his way of rejecting me." George mumbles and my eyes widen slightly. What the heck happened between those two? What was said and done? I can't help but, feel concern about it. "George. You know dang well that Harold isn't the type of person to respond like that. He would be super shy and mumble out an apology then, rejection." Heidi explained, sitting next to him.

"Mind explaining what happened?" I asked, softly. Jeez, why am I worried about those two idiots? Heidi looks at George who isn't saying anything and she sighs. "Basically, Harold said he wanted to look for his future husband before committing to any relationship with anyone. He said they could be friends. But, that never happened since Harold ignored and avoided George. And now, Harold is bullying him and Melvin. And we don't know what happened to him to cause a huge change in personality." Heidi explains while putting a hand on George's back to calm him down.

"Well, jeez, a little bit of an overreaction, don't you think?" I questioned. She nodded slightly and I sigh. "So, wait, he's attending high school and bullies George and Melvin?" I asked. "Yes, he put Melvin's head into a toilet. He belittles and blames George while they are in their dorm. Why?" Heidi explains, curious and confused. "Because that sounds awfully familiar," I replied, getting up from my desk. I opened my cabinets and looked through them until I finally found the recording. Don't know why I kept it, I should have thrown it out. But, again, something told me to keep it and I guess, it was helpful in the end.

"What's that?" Heidi asks as I bring the television in the room closer to my desk. "A recording. This one specifically is a little weird but, it could have some answers. So just, shut up and listen to it." I explained, popping in the tape. The television had static for a while before showing video footage. "Remember, Harold. George is going to manipulate and hurt you at this moment. Trust me, I'm from the future." A hooded figure spoke. George and Heidi softly gasped as they looked up.

"But, George, isn't the type to do that! How do you know this will happen?" Harold questions, hesitantly. "George loves you but, he won't love you for long. He'll use you. Once he confesses, it'll either be two choices. Say yes and suffer. Or say no and stay alive." The hooded figure explains. "But...I don't know." Harold mumbles. "Harold, it's me, Billy! I'm trying to save you from that horrible experience!" The hooded figure spoke, removing its hoodie to reveal it was Billy. "But, how?" Harold asked, backing away from the fence. "I'm here to warn you. That's all. Just say no and stay away from him!" Billy exclaimed.

"But, he's my best friend and-" Harold exclaimed until he was cut off. "Ugh, forget it!" Billy yelled and put his fist in front of Harold's face. "You will do as I say," Billy spoke and a red light shined from his fist. "The Hypno-ring! How did he get it?" George mumbled. "When I snap my fingers, you will reject George Beard's love confession. You will bully George Beard and Melvin Sneedly when they come in your way of finding Billy Lastor. You will do this until you marry Billy Lastor." Billy explained and Harold nodded.

George and Heidi moved closer until the television showed static. "Wait, what?" George asked, standing up from his chair. "It cuts off from there. Whatever happened must have damaged the recording. But, that does answer your questions?" I explained, taking out the tape. "Oh my God, they explain everything, Mr.Krupp! Thank you so much!" George exclaimed, happily. "Yeah, don't mention it...like ever. I have a reputation." I responded, walking to put the tape away. Until I stopped. Why is that something telling me to give the tape to them? Whatever, I'll do it.

"Here, take it. It's useless to me but, maybe not to you." I explained, handing the tape to George who instantly grabbed it. "Thank you so much!" He exclaimed, happily. Surprisingly and concerningly, I don't mind his happiness. "Alright, let's go home," Heidi spoke and I sighed of relief. "Do you have change for a taxi?" George asked and Heidi's eyes widen. "Yeah, about that. I don't." She chuckled. George sighs and looks at me. "But, maybe..." George mumbles. "I'm not giving anyone money if that's what you're thinking, George. So, beat it." I reply, instantly. "It still works..." He continued to walk toward me.

He snaps his fingers and everything goes dark.
