Wow, my Grandma gets WACKIER by the minute!

When she woke me up at 7:00AM on Saturday dressed up like Hello Kitty, I knew it was going to be a fun and silly day.

I know what you're thinking: what could we POSSIBLY be doing that would require her to dress up like Hello Kitty??

That's when she said, "Surprise! We're going to spend the day..."

"AT A HELLO KITTY PARTY!"

A Hello kitty party?! What kind of PARTY is that?

"Um...what exactly is a hello kitty party?" I asked.

"It's a party for Hello Kitty fans." She explained. "So if you are up for a Kawaii adventure, you should come with me!"

I'm not really a hello kitty lover, but I don't want to offend Grandma. I guess I have to come with her.

"You can bring your friends if you want." Grandma added.

Zoey is in another country right now, so I can't invite her. Chloe, meanwhile, is available today and she LOVES hello kitty! (And the Easter bunny too.)

I quickly grabbed my phone and called Chloe. "Hey Chloe!"

"Hey Nikki! What's up?!"

"Do you want to come with me to a hello kitty party? Grandma invited us."

"That's so cool! Of course I'll come!"

See? I KNEW she would LOVE to attend.

"I will pick you up, ok?"

"Ok! See ya! Bye!"

"Bye!"

I hang up the phone and got ready for the party. It starts at 1:00. I have to admit, I am pretty EXCITED to this party. SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

For my outfit, I put on a hello kitty shirt, a cat headband, a red skirt, and hello kitty flats. I look so KAWAII!

At 12:45, we picked up Chloe at her house. It took her FOREVER just to get ready. (Well, not really forever. But you know what I mean.)

"I'm so excited!" Chloe cried. I noticed that she is wearing a cat headband too. CUTE!

"Me too!" I say

"C'mon girls!" Grandma said. "We have to go now. We don't want to miss the party!"

At the party, everyone is dressed as hello kitty or wearing a cat headband like me and Chloe. EVEN Grandma's friends are wearing a hello kitty costume!

The place is decorated with hello kitty balloons, pink and white streamers, and hello kitty stuff toys. OMG! This party is just so........ KAWAII!

"Even the cookies are shaped like hello kitty." Chloe gushed while munching on a cookie. "Du yuh want som?!"

"Cool!" I replied. "Now don't talk while your mouth is full"

Chloe crossed her arms in a funny way and swallowed the cookie. "Whatever."

I gave her the stink eye as a reply.

After eating a bunch of delish cookies, we played games. I joined the 'pin the ribbon on hello kitty'. I ended up pinning it on kitty's nose instead of ears. IT was so FUNNY! Chloe did a good job pinning the ribbon on the right place.

After the games, we danced to 'Hello kitty' by Avril Lavigne. Grandma made it into a stop dance. It was so FUN!

Before I realized it, it was time to go home. I REALLY enjoyed the party!

"Hey grandma." I said, after we dropped off Chloe.

"Yes, Nikki?"

"Can you please invite me when there is another Hello kitty party?" I asked.

"Sure!" She replied. "You really enjoyed it huh!"

Then she hummed the hello kitty song. She might be WACKY, but she's also AWESOME! You gotta LOVE her!

KAWAII!!!
