Chapter 15: Rescued

The two policeman, Kyuchul and Jyung Chan drove until they came to the point where there is military men. The soldiers point gun at them and they raise their hands.

They began to check their temperatures and to make sure if they were bitten or not.

"Another three survivors, bring them to the refugee camp and test them "

"Wait I have something to say" Kyu Chul said

"What is it?"

"I have a message for the captain. The one who started the virus said that you need to get his laptop on Hit Big High School and you will found the answer of all of this pandemic" he said and the soldier began to nodded

"Okay sir, I will tell it to him"

Hit Big Highschool

While the 3 senior student were going to the other side of the door of the archery room, there are lot of zombies that was coming up to them. They can't run to fast because Mi Jae was heavily injured.

"Oh sh**t" Jo min continue to curse because of the zombies she saw that was chasing toward them from the back and the left and right side

"Please leave me"

"No what the hell are you saying" Jo Min said and suddenly a girl zombie who is so fast topple over them. They wanted to fight over that one zombie but it was too late because a lot of them coming up to nd feasted them

"It looks like this is the last" Jo Min said giving up

"Yeah and I began to realize that ypu are right killing Hanlim, if you wouldn't do it maybe I am dead but I am glad that I survive until now. Thanks Jo Min" Mi Jae

"Don't need to thank me..." she said "My dream was about to go to college. It looks like my dream will not come true. What about you guys?"

"I want to be a doctor" Min Jun said "I want to travel around the world and help those who are sick and it looks like I can't do it"

"I just wanted to get married and to have children" Mi Jae said "Yet... I did not expect that this will happen"

"It sucks right? Covid 19 happened and Zombie Pandemic also. What do we do and why are we not so lucky" Min Jun said and they just sighed

"A-and now we are feasted by the zombies" Jo Min said she was trying to laugh but she can't her tears began to fall

"Why are you crying?" Mi Jae ask

"I don't want to die yet"

"Me too..."

"See you again in next life?" Min Jun said as his eyes began to clouded with white

"See you until we see you"

Deep sighed. She don't want at the same room as the principal but she don't have a choice. She don't want to kill the principal, it is a crime already and she don't want to go out and be killed by the zombies.

'Why am I always not so lucky?'

Minhyuk and Dara both of them fight for the zombies that was coming to them. All of them were silently fighting. They wanted to survive for their child Haru. They don't wanted to be dead.

"Are you okay?" Minhyuk said as they finished

"Yeah" she said and Minhyuk hug her, "Lets survive this hell, honey"

Sangwon opened an office. He wanted to get revenge to Risoo.

"Risoooo where are you" he sang

Meanwhile Risoo was on the office table, he heard it and he was afraid to go out. He realize that Sangwon will murder him. His heart continue to beat fast.

He was nervous

"Found you..." Sangwon said and his smiles like an evil

"Sangwon, I can explain please don't kill me" he pleaded but Sangwon pulled out his collar

"Do you know that I am so hungry right now that I can eat you"

"Please... don't" he pleaded with a tears on his eyes but Sangwon didn't listen, he began to bite him like he was biting a yummy food

Sangwon wipe his face

"Finally... my girl friend will have a rest" he said and he saw the knife on Risoo's pocket and killed himself

Saemi, the bitch was with Ms Cho Min who was hiding on one of the classroom. They were there and Saemi remoursed and she realize what she did was wrong. Also, she even asked forgiveness of Aris.

Yes Aris didn't die yet, he is an halfbie just like Jinju but Aris was not on the school. He was hiding on the forest.

Night passed, Haru, Jinju, Noah, Sakura, Ada, Jeong Ri, Hyeonsoo, Sunny, Haeyoung, Deiji, Jumin, Jiun, Sunwoo, Hyunwoo, Sooyoung, Daniel amd Sang ri gathered around at campire. They were eating the biscuit that they got at the caferia. After they ate, they played truth and dare

"Okay Sunwoo, truth or dare" Hyeonsoo asked

"Dare"

"Okay I dare you to sing Happy Birthday while dancing Good Boy Gone Bad" he said

"Are you crazy?" Sunwoo muttered and all of them laugh

"You really have many crazy ideas Hyeonsoo huh?" Haeyoung said "How can you and Jeong ri become friends? You are both opposite at each other"

"Well lets say, opposit attracts" Hyeonsoo said and they laugh

Sunwoo did the dare and all of them can't help but to laugh because of his cuteness

"Okay Sooyoung truth or dare" Sunwoo asked

"Truth"

"Who is your crush?" He ask. He wanted to know who she likes.

"You" Sooyoung said smoothly and Sunwoon blushed

"That was smooth" Jumin said "🎶Smooth like butter🎶"

Jiun, Hyunwoo and Haeyoung began to teased Sunwoo that made him red. After the teasing moment they take turns to answer the questions

"Jeong ri truth or dare" Ada asked

"Truth"

"Hmmm...do you like someone right now?"

He nodder with a dimple smile, "Yes"

"Is it Hyeonsoo?"

"Y-Y-YAAHHH ADA STOP A-ASKING THAT QUESTION" Hyeonsoo shouted. He stuttered and blushing at the same time

"Why are you answering Jeong ri's question, huh, Hyeonsoo? Do you perhapse like him?"

Hyeonsoo was about to ask that question when Jeongri put his arms to Hyeonsoo that made him closer

"What if he likes me and I also likes him does it matter to you?" When he said this Hyeonsoo began to shy that made others laugh

"No"

Then it was Haru's turn

"Haru truth or dare" Jeong ri asked

"Truth"

"Who is your first love?"

Haru smiled, "My first love is my bestfriend and until now I still love her. Yes I love Sakura"

Sakura was shock and she never expect that Haru like her

"A-are you joking?"

"I am not joking"

"Woah I thought that you and I are in relationship" Sunny said

"Yes I thought so too" Hyunwoo said

"I I I don't know what to answer" Sakura said and went to the reiling of the rooftop

"I will just go beside Sakura" Haru said and they nodded

"Hey"

"H-haru"

"You don't need to answer that if you love me or not. I will always patiently waiting for you" he said and smile at her "I just really wanted to say it to you"

Scientist Laboratory

At the military camp, there were scientist experimented and tested a soldier that was bitten. Joonie was there outside of the laboratory office talking to the head scientist

"They can't find the homologou sequence of the virus" the head scientist said

"What does it mean?"

"All living organism have a root system right? There is always this origin but we can't find what is the origin of the virus"

"Do you mean that it is a brand new virus?"

"The KCDA also analyze it but until now there is no answer."

"We need to identify it so that we can create treatment. You are all experts and why you didn't identify it?"

"Its strange. The RNA structure changes every time we test and it looks like the virus evolve every time"head scientist said that made Joonie sighed

"Sir"

"What is it?"

"We rescue a detective from Daegu Police Station and he knows a lot about the virus. There's a laptop in Hitbig High School that has all the answer and in order to get out the catastrophe. The disease spreading in Daegu is Exodus Virus and Jang Min Shin, a science teacher created that virus and he left his laptop in school science lab"

"Do you think his story is credible?"

"Yes it was said that the outbreak began in Daegu Hospital's ER and the high school student was coming from Hit Big High School and I'm positive it is the ground zero"

"Keep questioning the detective" he said "Send Special Mission to the School and retrieve the laptop"

"Got it"

Rooftop

"Wait do you heard that?" Daniel said

"Huh?" The others were confuse on what he said

"Listen"

"What is it?" Deiji said

"What's happening?" Jiun said

"Wait, is that an helicopter?" Hyunwoo said as he pointed out

"Oh my Gosh" Ada muttered

"Fire" Haru said and they began to get the branch and waved the fire wood

"Yes they see us. They see us" Haeyoung excitedly said

"They are coming. This way this way. Hey right here" they continue shouted and jumping. The helicopter slowly go down and they get down the ladder and the soldier began to get down

"Whoa! Get down. All of you"

"Sir Can you help us?" Sakura said

"Face on the ground get down. Clear down the area. Over, high school roof. 17 students confirm"

"Their condition?"

"Checking the temperature"

"I think they are checking if we are zombies" Jeong ri whispered and when Noah heard this. He eyed to Jinju and slowly hold her hand

"The rest has normal temperature and two has hypothermia. Send some another helicopters for rescue"

"Over.Rescue them after you complete your mission"

"You can get up now" he said

"Finally, we are rescued" Sang ri said to his older brother and hug him

"Are you the only survivors?"

"We don't know but there is probably out there"

"Were going down and look over the laptop and another survivors. Just wait here. Understand"

They nodded to the soldiers

When the soldiers go down, Jinju sighed

"Bye guys" Jinju said

"Jinju where are you going?"

"I'm not belong here, Noah"

"But Jinju we already talk about this" Sakura said

"I know but guys.... I'm not fully human and what if I would bite you, you will turned right and I don't want it. Thank you for everything and I love you all" she said and she jumped to the rooftop

Everyone look at the ground and they don't find her

"Guys...I think I will go down too" Jeong ri said

"What are you doing, Jeong ri?"

"I have been selfish and I didn't told you about this but just like her...I was bitten when we and Hyeonsoo fighting on the zombies infront of the freshmen department... I'm sorry guys..."

"Don't need to be sorry" Hyunwoo said "But I'm glad that you control your hunger"

"Yeah..."

"You don't need to go also, Jeong ri" Sunny said

"But I need too..." he said "Hyeonsoo protect San Ri at all cost"

"Hyung..." San ri was about to cry and Jeong ri hug him and they both sob

"Jeong ri" Hyeon soo cried and Jeong ri hugged him

"Don't leave please... "

"I will come back okay" he said and he was about to go when Hyeonsoo pulled and kissed him

"I love you, Jeong ri...Please come back"

"I will and please hold my name tag for me" he said and put his name tag to him

"Bye guys" Jeong ri said and they wave back. They were crying.

"Don't cry guys"

"You are not the one at fault" Deiji said

"Come back okay?" Haru said

"I will"

"Jeong ri please take care of Jinju for me" he nodded and with that he go down

After a few minutes, the soldier rescued Saemi, Ms Cho Min, Deep, the principal, Minhyuk and Dara. The Class A and  Class B were shock when they saw Ms Cho Min and Saemi

Saemi ask forgiveness at them and they already forgave her especially Hyunwoo.

Sooyoung and Daniel hug Deep and Deep were shock. The two of them said that they are grateful that Deep was still alive. It was Deep first time to see that there is someone who cares for her

Minhyuk and Dara hug their son Haru, they were grateful that Haru was alive. They also hug Noah and Sakura. Sakura was crying.

"Where is Jinju and Jeong ri?" Ms Cho Min ask

"They are halfbie"

"So just like Aris" Saemi said

"Aris is still alive?"

"Yes he is an halfbie"

"Lets go now" the soldier said. Of course there was already many helicopter because it is impossible to carry all of them in one helicopter

"We are alive" Haru said

"We are..."

Two months after...

After they were rescued, the soldier bomb the whole Daegu City because it is the only way to eradicate the zombies.

Yoonshi, father of Sakura who was coming to rescued her daughter was found and he was tested and quarantined together with Sakura. Yes he is still alive.

The one who left alive was still on the refugeee camp, they are not allowed to go out because it is not yet safe.

Hyeonsoo went to back of the refugee camp and go up to the gate. He goes out because he waited for Jeong ri's signal. When he goes down to the gate, he look to the school and they saw a fire on their school's rooftop.

Jeong ri...

He immidiately went back to the refugee camp and he woke up the others

"Are you sure?" Haru ask

"Yes I am sure"

"Okay guys lets do this" Ada said

"Are you sure that you want to go with us?" Sakura ask the Class B and Class C

"Well we are also their friends" Haeyoung said

"Yes and Aris will be there" Hyunwoo said

"I wanted to meet your friends" Deep said "So why not"

"San ri?"

"I wanted to see hyung"

Hyeonsoo smiled, "Lets meet them up"

"They are not here" Jiun said as they look around. They are on the rooftop of the school and they saw the firewoods that was light

"Hi guys" a voice said and Hyeon soo knows that voice, they faced the one who was talking.

Jeong ri, Aris and Jinju was there smiling at them

"Guys..." Sakura said as her tears fall down

"We miss you" Aris said "But we cannot go back yet"

"Why?" Hyunwoo said

"Do you know that we are the kind who is on the middlle? We are not a monster nor a human. There is still mystery need to solve" Jinju said

"Then why are you giving us signal?" Noah asked

"We just wanted to see and hug you guys" Jeong ri said and they went and hug them. After the hugging moments, they talked and suddenly the three of them began to hug

"We need to go back now" Aris said

"Why you need to leave again?" Hyeonsoo said

"I'm sorry Hyeon but we need to" Jeong ri said and he hug his bestfriend

He then hold his face, "I love you, Hyeon... When I will come back again, I don't want to be your best friend.... I want you to be my forever"

Hyeonsoo blushed

"Jinju..."

"Noah...."

"I will miss you, Jinju" Noah said and Jinju smile

"I will always miss you, Noah" He then kiss her

"Please come back and be my princess"

"I will"

"Bye, Hyunwoo" Aris said and hug him, "Please take care of Saemi for me"

"Don't worry, I will take care my girl friend"

Aris was shock, "Wait you two..."

"Yes bitch you are too late" Saemi said and Aris laugh

"I'm sorry but you guys....Congrats"

The three of them waved good bye and they waved back.

When they didn't see them, all of them sighed.

Haru and Sakura looked at each other. They smiled.

"It looks like I will be thirdwheel again for you two" Noah said to Haru and Sakura

They laugh and Haru and Sakura kissed each other

Sunwoo and Sooyoung hold hands and they cutely smiled at Noah

Haeyoung hold Jiun as if he was hugging her. They were looking at the two couple infront who kissed each other

Deiji and Jumin were cutely hold gheir hands. Sunny and Ada also. Daniel and Deep too

"Da** why am I sorrounding with couples" Hyeonsoo said

"I am also asking same question" Noah said and rolling their eyes

They laugh

"Don't worry guys, they will come back" Ada said

"Lets go back, now"

They nodded
