Chapter 11: Termination of the Connection Services

"Around 12:00 noon this morning, the government announced the declaration of martial law in an effort to control the crises in Daegu. Starting sometime yesterday afternoon, a strange epidemic began to spread which lead to evacuation order and a city wide lock down. The sense panic caused by Daegu epidemic has sent markets into death spiral"

Some of the refugee in Daegu began to flight going to Seoul, Incheon or any other part of South Korea but there are some people who lives in Seould did not accept the refugees

"No refugees from Daegu! We don't want them! We don't want them! We don't want them! Go back for who you came from!"

"Go back sent them home"

"Please just my daughter, please let just her in"

"Get the hell out of me! Go back you freaking zombies ****!!!"

The protestant continues to shout and throw egg and flour to the refugees of Daegu that made them push backwards. 

Also, there are some people uses this opportunity to create a fake skit about zombies in Seoul that made the people panic and because of what the youtuber made. There was false rumors that said that Daegu epidemic came to spread into Seoul that made the 228,000 plus people leaving Korea through Incheon Airport

The prime minister and the other government official watches the video that has been suspected to start of the false rumors

"We have to expand martial law to control the media. There are rumors that radiation from US nuclear bombs created the zombies. That the heads of Korea's top 30 corporations fled the country. Most of the media are spreading fake news and sharing it online without verifying sources. It's contributing to all the chaos. The government should not control the media. The people themselves should control the media. And our citizens have enough power to do that." The prime minister said but the others opposed to what he said

"No expansion in martial law. Let's focus on containment and rescuing the uninfected, those our top priorities"

Hit Big High School

Noah and Haru pant as they finished fighting with the zombies. They looked at each other and they smiled as a form of relief that the two of them were survive from fighting.

"Noah, Haru" Hyunwoo shouted and the two look at him, with Haeyoung on their side

"Thanks God, that you both survive" Haru said

"You too" Haeyoung said and the two smiled

"Lets go now" Noah said that made the other three nodded in response. While they were going to the maintenance office, Hyunwoo notices the bloods on their uniforms. He chuckled

"Why?" Haru ask Hyunwoo who was just chuckling

"Nothing...I just realized that we are dirty and full of blood hahahaha"

Noah just moved his head in response, Haru too.

"Lol. Now as you talk about it, Hyunwoo, I just realized that we didn't take a bath now" Haeyoung said

"Its not very importang tho, what matter right now is to survive" Noah said

"Right... Lets should do it faster and silently" Haru said

"Aye aye master" Hyunwoo said and the three began to move faster to their destination

Auditorium room

"Where is Jaehyuk?" Sooyoung said as the two came with the plastic bag on their hands and Jeong ri's eyes were red. She notice that her own classmate was not with them. Daniel also

"Where is he? Is he still on the cafteria? Why do you leave him behind?" Daniel said

Hyeon soo and Jeong ri just look at them and they didn't how to said it with their other schoolmates. Sakura notices their expression and he knows that there is something that happened

"Where is he?" Sakura tried to control her nervous but the two didn't answer

Ada came and forward and hold Hyeon Soo shoulder, "Please tell us, what happened to him!! Please". She said and she was worried about him. She don't want anyone to be dead

"Did he died?" Deiji said and the two of them nodded.

As a moment of cries felt into them, as they lost another friend of them. First it was Aris, second they didn't know where is Ms Cho Min and even Saemi, Third they lost Jaehyuk.

Question filled into their minds, why it does need to happen? They don't deserve to be punishes like that.

But they don't have a choice because it happened already...

"Were sorry, if we are coming back alone" Hyeon soo said

"Don't be sorry, its not your fault" Sunny said as he pat Hyeon soo

"Nor everyones fault" Jumin said as he pat Jeong ri

"Don't blame both of yourself.If there is really someone we should blame and that is the creator of all of this zombies ****!" Jiun said

"Did you just tried to save him or did you just leave?" Sooyoung shouted for the two of them and her tears began to fall down. "You should just try to help him and not to be selfish"

"Hush, Sooyoung it is not their fault" Sakura said

"Nooo it looks like they are at fault" she said but the two just silent. "See, it looks likes this two just leave him behind"

"Are you sure Sooyoung?" Ada said as she stares at him with tears "Are you sure that they would just allowed Jaehyuk behind?

"Yes, it looks like from the start they didn't like him" Sooyoung said and Jinju came closer at her and slapped her

"Don't let the emotions control you and don't try to judge them because you don't know who they are" she said as a class president of class A they know that this both guys are not really the one to blame on Jaehyuk's death

"She's right, Sooyoung. I've been with them and I know the two of them wouldn't leave him. Try to listen on their sides not to conclude and why you would blame them? Are they the one who maked the zombies? No they are not" Sunwoo said, he was pissed of what Sooyoung said. He likes her but it doesn't mean that he should agree on every situation

Sooyoung look at Sunwoo and she began to felt silent. She knows that they are right. She should not blame them

"I'm sorry" she muttered

"What really happened?" Daniel said

Hyeon soo began to tell them what happened and all of them listen to him

"In every zombies apocalypse, all of the peole are bound to die and it looks we are bounded also except if we survive. The death began to hunt us now..." Deiji said as Hyeon soo began to finish telling

"You sound so creepy, Deiji" Sunwoo said that made Deiji rolled her eyes over him

"So what"

"Deiji is right afterall" Jinju said

"Yes we can't fight it but we can try to survive" Sakura said "Lets help each other not to blame."

"Rara's right. Now there is food, we need to wait from the 4 hopefully they are safe" Ada said and everyone nodded

Jeong ri began to leave just for a moment and goes to the back corner.  Jaehyuk is dear to him. He is the one who aleays there when Hyeon soo and his family was not there. They kept their friendship as secret but he treasured it very much. Losing him was painful to him.

He closed his eyes the memories flashed on his minds

"Jeong ri~~~ I have bingsoo here...Lets eat"

"Sure hyung, I'm craving for ice cream"

"Hyung Hyung look what I found"

"Wowww where did you find it?"

"Hyung.... Hyeon soo and me will going to Seoul, I'm so excited"

"Really? That's sad I cannot go with you and met your bestfriend"

"It's okay hyung"

"Jeong ri can I have one request, lets hide our friendship?"

"Jeong ri, happy birthday"

"Hyung I'm so surprise, thank youuuuu"

"Jaehyuk hyung..."

"Hey" Hyeon soo pat Jeong ri's shoulder and he look at him with his red eyes. Hyeon soo began to hug his bestfriend. This is what Jeong ri's needs the most.

He needs him...

"Whatever happen, I will always there for you, Jeong ri..."

"Let me come with you, I don't want to be dead"

When Deep heard this, she scoffed. She just look at him with anger on her eyes. It is funny thou. Imagine a bully, an enemy of yours would beg to come with you because he don't want to die. It is an ironic.

Before it was Deep who beg for help now, it was Risoo, one of his bully who beg.

"No" she said but Risoo hold her hand

"Please" he beg and kneel down. Deep began to undo her shirt that you would saw her naked with just a bra and skirt

"Did you see this wound? This bruises. This is what you did at me and now you are begging me to help you. Are you crazy?" She said and Risoo tears began to fall

The wounds. The bruises. It was their fault. Honestly before it made him happy but looking right now, it made him realize that they hurt her...

Not only her but them...

Deep began to wear her shirt again

"I'm not a saint nor a God, Risoo. I am only a person and what you did at me is so deep. You hurt me not only physically and mentally"

She said and left him

The 3 senior students began to walk around, looking for the juniors or anyone who is still arrive. While finding,  Mi Jae found a computer on one of the offices

"Guys, there is computer" he said

"Oh yeah" Jo min said "Quickly turn it on"

"Wait wait" Mi Jae said as he turn on the computer.

"Post something on Instagram or Facebook or twitter for help. Hurry"Min Jun said. When he turned on the computer...

No Internet Connection...

"Oh ****!!" Mi Jae muttered

"Why is it not working?"Min Jun said as hysterically, it looks like he has a problem already

"Huh, what's wrong? Tried to check if you already connect it on wifi or try to refresh" Jo Min said but it still the same

"Weird... The internet cable is plugged in, I already connect it in wifi and I tried to refresh but still..."

Jo Min found a phone on the top of the cabinet

"Hey" He called Min Jun "Please get the phone over there"

He nodded and get the phone, he tried to call but....

"****!!! They cut off the phones and internet" He said

Jo Mi cursed "F****** as******!!!"

Haru and the others just went to the maintenance office and they got the key already. They decided to call Jeong ri's phone but....

No Signal

"Guys very bad news" Haru said to the other 3

"Why?"

He then let them see the phone and Haeyoung sighed loudly.

"Just like what happened normally in zombie apocalypse. Cliche...." Hyunwoo said

"It looks they cut down our connection" Noah said and cursed, "They are so **************"

"Martial law command has acted swiftly and thorougly. We sealed off entire Daegu area to prevent the situation from spreading on other cities ans region. If you live near Daegu, please calm down and return to your normal lives. Currently we are doing our best to quarantine those who infected and to rescue and protect those who are not. We continue to operate as always in strict compliance with the law. Fake news about the of epidemic outside in the region is spreading like a contagion, we will sensor all unconfirmed rumors simultaeneously in the interest of operational efficency, all cellphone services, landlines, internet services and all communication originating in Daegu will be terminated....

If you live in Daegu and your watching this now, please try to stay hopeful and wait in your location to be rescued" The Prime Minister said while announcing to the media

Jeong ri sighed and he look at his phone. He wanted to called his mom but the cellphone services has been terminated. He then shared it to others and they sighed loudly...

"They cut our connection services, we have been not saved until today... It looks like the goverment want us to die already" Deiji said

"That's it!! We already have plan A if the rescuer would not come on us. I decided we should have two back up plans" Sakura said "Gather guys and we should carefully planned our backup plans"

"There is many of us  if we gather together, we cannot survived...If plan A would not succed, I suggest for our plan B, lets seperate." Ada said

"I completely agree with Ada. As I really wanted each one of us to stay together, we can't, we are too many" Sunny said

"I also agree what they said" Jiun said

"If that then we should do it" Sunwoo said "But if we group, we should fairly group, there will be one freshmen on each group"

"I disagree" Haru said, the four of them came inside bringing the key. They heard what they planned and all of them are not happy with it

He slowly woke up his eyes. He saw the dirty white ceiling infront of him. He sat down and he saw he was still in the hallway where he was bitten by her girlfriend

What the hell, how did I am still alive alive after that?
