I'm just gonna spew some Humans Are Space Orcs/Australians ideas I had soooo here goes

Also if you don't know what humans are space orcs is LOOK IT UP. Basically it's science fiction with aliens but instead of aliens being all weird with long lifespans and mind-reading and all that humans are considered the strange ones.

It's great 10/10

—Species Number 1
Their name is somewhere between a light hiss and a low growl. Something like Ahkeeii if we were to spell it out.

Have an appearance similar to humans but the front of their face pokes out a bit. Like a cat muzzle, but with more of a dragon-esk nose. Their skin is generally in tones of gold to silver-ish grey. Pointy sharp teeth. Snek tongues. Only have three fingers + thumb. Generally about 4 feet/121 centimeters in height.

Moving on, their diet is restricted to meat. Generally eat one meal a day- a large meal- mid-afternoon. Might snack in the morning. Starve after ten days without food. In past famines, they've resorted to cannibalism.

Most creatures see them as terrifying.

Humans think they're great.

Obviously I had to write a story.

Clle found humans strange. Unlike all other beings, they didn't find Ahkeeii frightening. Fascinating was the word Human-Kathy had used.

As Clle sat in the car alongside Human-Kathy and Human-Fred, she really thought humans couldn't be any stranger.

"This is an outdoor shopping mall!" Human-Kathy exclaimed as she exited the car, "It should be pretty empty today because it's supposed to rain."

"I'm sorry, did you say rain?" Clle asked.

Human-Kathy nodded. "Don't tell me you don't have rain back on Hhhu?!"

"Yes, we have rain. The deadly water droplets that fall from the sky at a million miles an hour! One hit and you'll be dead!"

Human-Kathy looked over at Human-Fred and they shared a laugh. "Rain doesn't kill anyone here. In fact, some people like to go out in the rain and play in puddles."

"Some people find the sound of rain relaxing," Human-Fred added.

Clle found herself in shock. Wordlessly she followed Human-Kathy into a store with large posters of shiny, colorful things out front.

Her nose scrunched as soon as she got inside. The sickly scent of poison filled her nose and Clle put her hand over her mouth before bolting back out the door. "What WAS that place!?" she shouted, "A poison shop for your human assassins!? Why is this place free for anyone to access!?"

With a slightly concerned look Human-Kathy explained, "That was a chocolate shop. The stuff in there tastes delicious. It's only poisonous to dogs. And some aliens, I suppose."

Breathing heavy, Clle looked on in shock. Enjoying deadly rain!? Eating poison for fun!?

What even ARE humans!?

Clle's mind tried to come up with even some idea of how this species ended up being so insane that they could survive EATING. POISON.

FOR FUN.

"Why don't we head somewhere else," Human-Kathy suggested, "Like the one camping store we go to! Ahg what's the name..?"

"The one in the back?" Human-Fred asked.

"Yeah! That one!"

Gaping, Clle took a deep breath.

Humans:
(1) Enjoyed rain
(2) Ate Poison
(3) Were not terrified of Ahkeeii
(4) but could not remember the names of things for the life of them

Yep. Humans were strange.

Clle didn't know if she would ever understand.

And then the group was off again, to whatever hell-hole the humans had decided to go to next.
