Sakura slowly opened her eyes.

She felt weak and heavy.

"What do you mean I can't go in!!! She is my friend!! So let me in!!"

Sakura slowly looked around.

She was in a small white blank room with a single chair by her bed.

Sakura sat up.

Her eyes were heavy and her skin was a sick white, her once noticiable bruises and cuts were a view .

The door slammed open, showing naruto. He quickly shut the door and he turned to look at her.

"Hey saku-chan!" Naruto said showing a bright smile. Sakura forced a small smile, but her eyes filled with curiosity at his tummy.

It was larger...and bumpier.

"H-hey n-naruto." Sakura said. She looked around again." W-where a-am I?"

"Don't you remember saku-chan? You fainted and then I took you to the hospital! But the nurses wouldn't let me see you! So I used my super ninja skills and I sneaked in!!" Naruto said taking a seat in her bed." You know you don't look so good saku-chan.."

"I-i'm so s-sorry na-naruto...i-i mu-must ha-have be-been a bur-burden to y-you..." sakura said ignoring his last statement.

Before sakura cold react, she felt warm strong small arms wrap around her figure.

"Don't say things like that saku-chan! I'll always be there for you!" Naruto said as he tighten his grip.

"Th-thank y-you." Sakura said as tears build up in her eyes.

"Oh yeah! Saku-chan I've kept your toy rabbit with me since you've been in the hospital! Here! I took him everywhere I went and I told him you were alright!" Naruto said parting them to take out the rabbit from the inside of his shirt.

Sakura flinched for a second but she slowly took the rabbit. Her eyes filled with a fright.

"T-thank you." Sakura said again.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head.

"You what saku-chan! After you get out of this place, I'm going to take you out for some ramen and then we'll play ninja in the woods!" Naruto said happily.

"O-ok." Sakura said as she looked at his eyes.

'He's afraid.'

She ignored the voice.

The doorknob shook and Naruto quickly hid under the bed.

"You young lady are in trouble!" Came a strong powerful voice.

"I-i'm s-sorry i-ibiki-se-sensei.." Sakura said.

Ibiki sighed.

"What happened Sakura? You've been here for a week and just yesterday did they inform me about you. You weight fifteen less pounds than you're suppose to. You have dark circles around your eyes. You have long thick cuts and scars in not only your back, but your entire body and your nose is broken again." Ibiki said as he pat her small head.

"I-i...y-you s-see.....i-i." Sakura started but she kept stuttering too much for Ibiki to understand while staring at her rabbit.

Ibiki hugged sakura closely.

"It's okay." He simply said.

Sakura hugged him back.

"You still have to stay here two more days and I've volunteered to make sure you take your new medications." Ibiki said. He felt sakura slowly nod back in response.

Ibiki pulled back and ruffled her hair as he smiled at her. He started to walk to the door but before he turned the handle he spoke.

"You better take care of my cherry you hear me boy." Ibiki said in a serious voice. Naruto quickly came out of under the bed and he stood straighter with a hand on his heart.

"You have my word!" Naruto said.

Ibiki smiled before exiting the room.

"Who was that guy saku-chan? He acts just like gramps!" Naruto said. Sakura looked at him and she frowned.

"The burden."

-----two days later-----

As the days went by Naruto visited Sakura as much as he could. He'd tell her about some adventures he had and Sakura would suck in every words he said. Her eyes would shine with excitement and she'd smile.

Of course he was a bit freak out about what had happen two days ago. But he decided to ignore it, after all he had a friend.

"So then I used my super um...watermelon and threw at him with my super speed!! It looked like he was about pee his pants!, so then I knocked him out, and , and ,and then I got a trophy!! Pretty cool huh!!" Naruto said happily.

"W-wow na-naruto, that so-sounded so cool. Di-did you re-really do th-that?" Sakura said as she clapped.

Naruto stopped for a moment and then smiled.

"Of course I did!!! I'm gonna be the future hokage!!!" Naruto said as he punched the air.

Sakura smiled.

"You know sakura-chan you've looked a lot better in the past two days!! You know now you're even prettier!!" Naruto said squishing sakura's face together with his hands.

Sakura blushed.

"T-th-th-thank y-y-yo-you na-nar-naruto." Sakura said as she became redder each passing second.

Naruto blushed as well.

"You know what saku-chan!!! I've decided that when I grow up I'm gonna marry you!!" Naruto said as he held sakura's hands.

Sakura looked at naruto shocked. She blushed and nodded.

"O-okay na-naruto-kun." Sakura said.

Naruto leaned in and kissed sakura's cheek. Sakura felt her world stop. Her entire body was burning.

"You know what!! Never mind!!" Naruto said with a angry face. Sakura's face showed sadness.

"I'mma marry you right now!!" Naruto said his face changing into pure happiness as he searched his pockets and pulled out a orange candy ring.

He slowly slipped it in her finger.

"Now i'mma gonna ask ya like a real man.....sakura will you marry me?" Naruto said as he held both her tiny delegate hands.

Sakura smiled happily as tears rolled down her face. He tilted her head a bit.

"I w-would love t-to." Sakura said.

The door opened reviling ibiki.

"Sakura are you ready to leave?" Ibiki asked with a smile before it turned red, his face twiched in anger at the sight of the two small children.

Naruto in surprise shouted.

"Aaacckkk!"

He backed up and fell to the ground landing on his head in the process.

Ibiki masked his amusement pretty well.

Naruto got off the ground and helped sakura get out off the bed while rubbing his head while smiling nervously.

Ibiki glance at both of them suspiciously.

He grabbed the red bag that was next the door which held sakura's belongings.

As they exited the hospital naruto and sakura held hands such to Ibiki's irritation.

" Sakura when we get home you're going straight to bed and then I'll prepare dinner." Ibiki commanded.

Sakura nodded.

" Hey that's not fair!!! I wanted to take sakura-chan out for ramen!!" Naruto shouted. Ibiki glared at naruto.

"Sakura just go out of the hospital. She cannot go on to eat unhealthy food." Ibiki hissed.

Sakura frowned.

"But isn't that good!! You said sakura-chan weighted 8 pounds less! Unhealthy mean you eat bad food to get better!" Naruto shouted.

"15!! Sakura weighted 15 pounds less!! She would get sicker if she ate that greasy and fatty food!" Ibiki hissed.

Naruto gasped in horror at his words.

Naruto and ibiki glared at each other lighting striking.

"I-ibiki-sen-sensei why wh-why don-dont we just in-invite n-naruto-kun over?" Sakura said.

Ibiki and naruto looked at sakura.

"That's a great idea saku-chan!! You are so smart!!" Naruto said as he brought sakura to his arms.

Ibiki growled.

Naruto started to pulled sakura as ibiki followed.

Sakura frowned.

"Uuuhhh! Sakura-chan!! Where's your house?! "Naruto asked happily.

Sakura let a small smile in her pale face.

'Im sure Ibiki-sensei will be okay.' Sakura thought as she sigh in reassure mentally.

Ibiki unlocked the door to her house.

'Hhhhnnnnn.....this brat is getting too happily about being close to my little imōto.....no my daughter!!!'

"Hn. I'll be back shortly." Ibiki said as he ripped naruto into pieces in his mind.

As they entered the sakura's home, naruto immediatly started exploring her small living room.

"Hey saku-chan let's go up to your room and play and let that big guy take care of things!" Naruto shouted so Ibiki could hear as he tried not to laugh when he felt his killer intent from the kitchen.

-after lunch-

Sakura was a bit disapointed that Naruto had to leave after they'd finished their meal , but understood that he had other plans.

Of course Ibiki saw through her eyes and picked her up and sat her in his shoulders. He was quickly pleased as he listed to her quiet giggles.

Ibiki laughed in his mind. He was someone the normal ninja would avoid at all cost, and he quickly understood it knowing he would never have friend or a close one.

But if he would've never guessed the person he'd care for was going to be a tiny pink haired girl.

He wouldn't mind.
