Chapter Thirty-Five | Good Luck
Several nights passed and they were all similar to the first.
Heightened abilities of the killers were discovered.
The Hag's traps seemed to have a larger range.
The Hillbilly's sprints seemed to be faster.
The Shape was close to catching up even before doing what they called 'leveling up'.
The Doctor could immediately put them into a state of shock.
It wasn't good.
"Can we switch up groups tonight?"
Nick looked over as he heard Ate's voice. A small frown appeared on his face.
"Why?" He asked. He earned a small shrug.
"I was talking to Tommy and we were thinking that he could come with Sal and I tonight. That is, if you're okay with taking Addie."
Nick took in a deep breath before giving a small nod. "Yeah. Yeah, that's fine," He responded. "Just, tell her, okay?"
Ate gave Nick a hint of a smile before running off to Addie's room. It only took her a moment.
"Hey-o, Addie," She said before stepping into the room.
"Hey," Addie murmured before looking up from her notebook. "What's up?"
Ate gave a flicker of a smile. "We're actually going to be taking Tommy."
Addie gave a small smile. "Yeah. That's totally fine! Does Sal know that they're not coming or-"
"No," Ate cut her off. "I mean. Sal and I will be taking Tommy. You're going to be going with Ashlie and... Nick."
Addie's smile fell before giving a small nod. "Okay. We're leaving in fifteen, right?" She asked. She earned a quick nod. "Okay. I'll be there in ten."
Ate hesitated before walking out.

The fifteen minutes passed quickly.
Everyone was out the door, giving the normal hugs before all three groups went to split up.
"No."
Everyone's attention turned up, trying to spot the source of Lachlan's voice. It was the speakers.
"No what?" Nick questioned.
"No. You're not splitting up. We're trying something new. Nine survivors. Five generators. One killer," Lachlan responded. "And you don't exactly have a choice. So let's go."
The others looked at each in worry.
"First door."
"Fine," Nick responded. "Come on." He glanced back before heading off.
"Something's wrong," Uni muttered as they walked towards the door.
Cory only nodded.
They were quick to get there.
"Same rules," Lachlan told them. "Different numbers. Survive until you escape. Now, go in."
Tommy nearly jumped as the gate opened on its own.
"So, we're doing this?" Dawn asked, Addie nodding. "Yeah," She responded. "Let's go."
She was the first to walk in, the others following behind her.
Lachlan's chuckle was heard. "Good luck!"
