They hadn't spoken for even ten minutes before Ate and Sal fell asleep, leaning against one another. The others weren't surprised. It had been a long night. So they called it a 'night', Ashlie and Tommy each picking up a teen and bringing them up to their rooms.

Addie noticed that Cory and Uni had gone to bed while the rest had been talking. It was a good thing everyone was resting. It let her sit and think.

Everything was changing. There was a newbie. She was hurt. Nick was hurt. There were major changes to the ones try to kill them. It scared her.

"Why?" She whispered as she let her head fall back against the back of the couch. "Why the hell is this happening?" She felt a tear slips down her cheek. She wasn't supposed to be worried about her life. She was supposed to be worried about not failing her classes. She was supposed to be worried about finding a date for homecoming. She let out a strangled sob before covering her mouth.

"It's okay," she heard a soft voice behind her. She recognized it as Uni's. What was he doing up? "I know you're stressed." His voice remained soft as he settled down beside her. "But it's going to be fine, alright? We're going to get out. You're going to be okay."

Addie burst out sobbing before curling into Uni's side. She ignored the excruciating pain in her shoulder as she held onto him. "None of us are going to be okay. They're becoming unfair," She whispered as she buried her face into his side.

"Where's the Adeline I know?" Uni asked as he wrapped his arm around her. "She's always so optimistic, no matter what."

Addie shook her head as another small sob escaped her lips. "It's hard. We've never faced something like this before. This is so new. It's so scary."

Uni took a moment before pressing a kiss to her head. "I know," He murmured. He knew firsthand how terrifying it was becoming. "It's really scary. But we can't just sit and not do anything. So please. Realize that we're going to be okay soon."

Uni looked down at the teen, the two meeting eyes.

"We'll be okay."
