They had all started talking about little things. Hanji was filling them in on what happened at the school while they were away. Apparently a kid name Reiner got in a fight protecting his friend bertholdt. Ymir and Christa were caught making out in the girls bathroom. All Eren could think was how they hadn't been caught earlier, and all Levi could think is how unsanitary of a place that was to make out.

Hanji continued to talk about how the last few days have been when Mikasa walked in. She greeted everyone as she entered setting her stuff down and sitting on the bed next to Eren. She gave him a quick kiss on the forehead before moving aside and pulling out her homework.

Recently she had been listening to everything Eren has told her to do, and taking extra good care of him. She wanted to show him just how much she loved and cared for him after everything he's done for her. Her motivation came after fearing that he would never be able to make it up to him.

Hanji finished talking and Eren asked Mikasa how her day was by writing it on the whiteboard. Mikasa just shrugged it off with a "it was good." She didn't really want to tell him how she could barely pay attention in class because she was worrying about her brother all day, so in order to not worry him she lied and gave him a smile.

He was suspicious until he looked at Hanji's face which proved everything. Her face had shown him that during school she was off. Hanji had a surprised look flash across her face for a slight second but just long enough to help Eren figure out her lie.

"You sure it was okay." Eren wrote not wanting to press her for information she didn't want to talk about.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Me and Annie hung out all day." She said shrugging.

Eren nodded and decided to let her be. "That's good. What's for homework?" He wrote attempting to help her with anything she needed.

"Math." She answered.

Eren put his hands up in surrender. He could barely help her with yesterday's math homework there was no way he would be able to help her with today's.

"I can help you if you need it, I don't think Eren will be able to judging by the look on his face." Levi said laughing at the boy whose eyes widened the second the word Math was announced.

"Alright well I guess that's our cue to leave." Hanji said standing up patting Erwin on the back. " We should let them get there stuff done, and get some rest." She said before saying goodbye.

Erwin said his goodbyes and turned to leave. He turned his head back around to talk to Levi before leaving. "Oh, I don't know if I told you, I think I forgot about it, but I am giving you the rest of the week off." He said giving him a smile. "Paid." He said before turning back around to leave.

"Thanks Erwin." Levi said before they left.

Eren let out a yawn and Levi immediately told him to rest. Eren rolled his eyes but ended up falling asleep a couple of minutes later.

Levi looked over at Mikasa after watching Eren who seemed to be fighting off the sleep finally doze off.

Mikasa looked like she was struggling with her work.

Levi made his way over to her side, "You need help?" He asked sitting next to her on the floor. He hid his disgust of how dirty he thought it was to sit on such an unclean surface.

"So how was school today?" He asked thinking she was going to give him the same answer that she gave Eren.

"Bad." Is all she said not looking at him.

"How so?" He asked quite surprised by her answer.

"I couldn't really focus I was too scared that something would happen to Eren. Like he would slip back into the coma or something." She mumbled not wanting to sound dumb.

"He won't slip back into a coma, the nurses say he's stable." Levi said trying to reassure her.

"Yeah but for how much longer, you see what kind of condition he's in. He's struggling to breath normally at some points. What if he does slip back into a coma, and if he does what will be the chance of him waking up again, it wasn't high to start with." Mikasa said panicking her thoughts driving her mad inside her own mind. She had looked up at Levi with scared eyes as her voice shook. 

Levi wrapped his arms around her. "Eren's a fighter, he won't slip back in a coma and if he does he will wake up again." Levi said hugging her. He feelings getting to him. She had made a point and it was now in his head.

"I'll talk to the nurses about this later okay, so try not to worry about it." Levi said with reassurance.

Mikasa nodded and decided to get her homework done before she had to go back to Levi's for the night.
