"It's okay Eren I don't really mind". Levi said genuinely meaning it. "Actually I think I'm just gunna walk home". Eren said sounding a little disappointed. "What? Why? Isn't your father on his way"? "No, well he was supposed to but he probably got drunk and passed out again". Eren said feeling ashamed. "Oh, alright then. I'm heading home as well". Levi said as they both walked out of the class.

They made it to the front parking lot when Eren began to speak. "Thanks for waiting with me Mr.- um Levi". Bye see you tomor-" Eren was cut off by Levi who grabbed Eren by his wrists. "What are you doing!?" "I'm not letting you walk home, you live over eight miles away, and it would take you forever to get home you shouldn't be walking around the streets at night". "I can walk it's fine, it's not like I haven't done it before". "What, why haven't you been taking the bus". "I stopped to avoid getting into fights with horse face". 'Even though its pointless since he live down the street from me'. "Why didn't you tell me I could have drove you home"? "I didn't want to bother you they are my problems and I should learn to deal with them without burdening people". Eren said looking down at the ground. "Eren you are not burdening me I want to help let me drive you home I would feel like shit If something happened to you while you where walking home". Levi said showing his care for the boy. Eren knew he had been beaten he stopped protesting and let Levi walk him over to the car. "THIS IS YOUR CAR?!" Eren said amazed "Yeah. What did you think I drove a minivan"? Levi said teasing Eren. "No, but how did you afford a corvette"? Levi's smirk disappeared and he got a sad look in his eyes. "Nevermind that, just get in so we can go." Levi said getting into his car. Eren heard the sadness in the other man's voice so he decided to drop the questions. Eren cautiously got into the unfamiliar car.

Levi and Eren had been sitting in silence for about three minutes now. Levi decided to turn on his Ipod which was connected to the radio. "Sorry Levi". "For what"? "What I said earlier seemed to upset you" Eren said sadly. "Oh, you didn't upset me just some sad memories that's all". Levi said looking over at Eren. Eren felt the older man's gaze fall upon him. "Hey why don't we just forget about it and turn up the radio it's a good song". Eren said feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Sure could you do it". Levi said still looking at Eren out of the corner of his eye. "Um sure". Eren said starting to reach for the volume switch. Levi's eyes widened in shock. Eren didn't realize that Levi was still watching him still. Levi immediately pulled the car over into a nearby parking lot. "What the hell are you doing"?! Eren asked feeling a little scared. Levi started to mumble to himself but Eren could still hear every word. "When did it start, how did I miss this, why didn't I realize"? Levi had put his head in his hands. "What are you talking about Levi you- you're starting to scare me". Eren had started to reach for the door handle when Levi grabbed his arm. "What are you-" Eren was cut off as Levi pulled up his jacket sleeve. Levi was even more shocked seeing more then expected.
