'Where am I?' Eren asked thought as he opened his eyes. He seemed to be laying on a hard surface, a floor? The ceiling was a whitish grey tile. He looked around at the white walls that seemed to have stains everywhere. The stains were mostly dirt stains, but their was one stain that was rather large and it had a crimson red tint to it. 'Is that blood?' Eren thought sitting up. He noticed the floor tiles were also white and were pretty scuffed up. 'I was with Levi.' Eren remembered as he stood up. "Levi." Eren called out trying to find his lover and figure out exactly what the hell is going on.

As Eren continued to walked down the hallway, he began to see doorways and hear noises everywhere. He heard voices coming from every directions and beeping coming from every room. 'Is this a hospital?' Eren thought as he reached the first doorway. He looked in and saw an elderly lady laying in a bed surrounded by crying people. The lady seemed to be unconscious as she was hooked up to a whole bunch of beeping machines and oxygen tubes. The people didn't even seem to notice Eren who was standing in the hallway, maybe they were to busy grieving. He heard some of the nurses talking, "It's her time, they have to let her go." Eren bowed his head in respect and started walking again. Not a moment later he heard a gut wrenching long lasting beeping noise that pierced his eardrums. He stopped in his tracks and lowered his head, hearing the cries from the next room, and before he kept walking a single tear fell from his eyes as he tried to hold the others in.

As he continued walking he came across another room. This room had a little girl in it, she couldn't have been older than ten. She had her leg up in a cast and bandages were visible under her gown as the were wrapped around her chest and stomach. Her arm was in a sling and there were cuts littering her face and body. He seen one of the doctors clipboards on the counter by the door, the doctor was looking over the patient and left it there for the time being. Eren's eyes scanned the document, he came across a phrase and paused. It read, 'car crash victim,' he swallowed and kept scanning the page. He paused at another phrase that was a bit further down. This one read, 'comatose,' and the next line down read, 'permanently brain dead.' Eren looked back at the little girl with tears in his eyes, he began to shake his head trying to rid himself of the tears and sadness. He tried to stay strong and stop crying but he failed.

Eren kept walking and made it to yet another room. This one had a man who looked to be in his late thirties. The nurse in this room was replacing and I.V. bag. The man like all the others seemed to be unconscious. He had machines hooked up to him, but unlike the other two Eren couldn't see anything physically wrong. A second later a nurse walked in and asked, "what's the deal with this one?" The second nurse replied, "heart attack, he may wake up, he may not." Eren decided to keep walking. 'Why am I here? How did I get here in the first place? Where is Levi?" Eren thought and immediately stopped in his tracks. "Levi." Eren whispered. "I was with Levi, where could he be?" Eren as he continued to call his lover's name, each louder than the last. "Levi. Levi. Levi!" Eren wondered around calling his name.

Eren came to another room he was about to walk past it but froze when he saw who was in it. His eyes widened, "Levi." Eren said seeing his lover. He walked up to the doorway and froze in place. Levi was right before his eyes just sitting there. He seemed to be visiting someone. Eren went to look at the person Levi seemed to be visiting, but all he could see was a blur and a white light blocking the figure. "Levi who is that?" Eren asked taking a step in the room. Levi remained silent as he sat there staring at the person. Levi's eyes were puffy and red, meaning he had been crying, a lot. "Levi, answer me who is that?" Eren asked again a bit frustrated. once again Levi sat there silent. "Levi why won't you answer me!" Eren yelled more in distressed as he didn't know what was happening and his lover seemed to be upset and shutting him out.

Eren was about to raise his voice even louder until a nurse walked into the room. Eren was fazed and he was starting to panic. At this point he wasn't fazed by Levi not answering him, he was fazed by the nurse. She walked into the room where he was blocking the doorway, she walked straight threw him. "You know this person?" The nurse asked Levi. "Yes," Levi answered standing up and looking at the nurse like a student waiting to get their bad grade from a teacher. "They suffered a serious concision, and bone bruising. There is a chance they will never wake up." The nurse said it flat out like ripping off a band-aid, no, more like ripping off a piece of duct tape that was placed over a deep open wound. Levi looked so devastated, Eren swore he could hear his heartbreak from where he stood. "I'm sorry." The nurse said with sadness as she bowed her head. "Thank you." Levi said his voice drifting off. Eren was in tears, Levi's voice sounded so broken so hurt so empty. Levi sat back down as the nurse left. Tears filled his eyes. "Don't do this to me _ _ _ _. You can't do this to me." Levi said as the tears began to stream down his face. Eren couldn't hear the name, but it seemed to be four syllables long.

Eren stood there for a few minutes thinking of every person possible with a four syllable name. 'Could I be in a dream? No this feels to real.' Eren thought still trying to comprehend everything, and trying to figure out who the comatose person is. He looked up to see Levi, he was holding the person's hand as tears streamed down his face. He laid his head down on the hospital bed next to the person. "Levi, I know you can't here me, and I don't know what's happening, but I'm going to figure this out." Eren said as he walked up to Levi attempting to place his hand up to Levi's cheek to wipe away some of the tears, but with no success. Levi looked up from the boy and just stared into space like he was lost. "Levi, I love you." Eren said before his eyes shot open and they met with a familiar pair of grey eyes. "Levi?" Eren questioned in a panicky tone.
