Levi had finally calmed his mind down enough to get some work done. He was working on his laptop when he saw Mikasa's head pop up from where she had been laying. "What time is it?" Levi heard her ask drowsily as she stretched her sore muscles. The bags under her eyes had seemed to be less prominent than earlier.

"Around seven," Levi answered checking his laptop's time. "We should eat something." Levi noted as Mikasa's stomach rumbled loudly. "Maybe we can still hit the hospital cafeteria?" He asked knowing neither of them wanted to be that far away from Eren.

Mikasa nodded and the two were about to leave the room when Levi told her to hole up. He put his phone back in his bag getting tired of continuously texting both Hanji and Erwin. They both made their way to the cafeteria.

They ordered a decent size meal and took their time eating. "Can we talk?" Levi sincerely asked. His voice almost sounded as if he was nervous.

"Is something wrong." She asked setting down her fork and giving her full attention to Levi.

"No," Levi said taking a deep breath. "Look I know this can't be easy on you, but I think you should go to school tomorrow." Levi said beating around the actual thing he wanted to talk about.

Mikasa went to disagree but decided he was right. "Okay I will." She said simply, but when she still seen him fidgeting she knew there was something else he had to say. "Anything else you want to add?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well um, I just wanted to pick your brain for a moment." Levi whispered looking away from her confused face. He wanted her opinion, or maybe more than that it looked almost as if he was asking for approval.

"About what?" She asked with a slight tilt of her head. She was looking at his face for any subtle hints about what he was about to say. 'What does he want to know?' She asked herself over again waiting for him to tell her or give her a hint.

After a minute of awkward silence he finally got up the courage to ask the real question. "Well I wanted to know what your thoughts about Eren and me," Levi cleared his throat, "I want to know how you feel about the whole thing. I mean isn't it awkward." Levi fumbled over his words over and over before just closing his mouth.

Mikasa held back the urge to laugh as she saw the most intimidating teacher get flustered and nervous. "I mean it was awkward at first, sorry again for threatening you," She laughed and shrugged, " But I can see that you really love you've shown me that you actually care about him.    Besides he's crazy about you." She said smiling hearing the memories of him constantly talk about his crush named Levi for the last 4 years of school not knowing who it was.

"I like the idea that both of you find happiness in the other, you both deserve it, and anyone who thinks otherwise will have to go through me." She said with a a confident smile. "Anyways, What I'm trying to say is When he wakes up, and yes he will wake up, I guarantee the first thing you'll see is the love in his eyes he holds for you." She said smiling

Levi smiled and thanked her before letting out a sigh of relief. They finished their food and made their way back to the room. When they entered they didn't feel the sense of unbearable sadness but instead hope had filled its place.
