They finished eating. They said goodbye to Mina and left her a nice tip. They got to the car and Levi smiled. "You ready"? "I guess". Eren wasn't sure where they were going going but he knew Levi wanted to take him so he went with it.

"Okay, we're here" Levi said turning off the car. Eren got out of the car and something hit him. 'This place looks familiar, but I can't remeber why'. "Sorry for the long walk up the stairs. Here let me carry you". "Levi you don't have-". Before Eren finished his sentance Levi was hoisting him up on his back. "HEY LEV-" "Oh come on brat quite fighting it. I just want to help". "But I'm heavy". "Nope you're actually pretty light. Don't worry I won't drop you. Don't you trust me"? Eren stopped protesting and let Levi carry him. He stared at the ground the in whole time. It was still bugging him why he didn't know why this place was so familiar. He felt uneasy he just couldn't put his finger on it.

They made it to the top of the stone stairs. Eren still couldn't help bit thinking that he's been here before. Once they were at the top of the hill Eren seen six large stones. "I remember now". Is all Eren mumbled out. "Remeber what". "Um, nothing I'll tell you later". Levi let Eren down off his back.

Eren remembered coming here once before. He came here for his mother's funeral. He remembered as they laid her coffin in the ground. He remembered slowly walking up the stairs keeping his head low. He remebered crying and saying goodbye to his mom one last time. He remembered running down the the stairs crying his eyes out as he tried to get away from the people who seemed to be interigating him with questions. He remembered this was the last time his father ever shower him love and compassion. He remebered hugging his sister the whole car ride home. He remembered.

Levi spoke pulling Eren out of his thoughts. "Eren this is everyone". Levi took Eren's hand and looked at the graves. "You guys this is Eren. You would have loved him. I wish you all could have meet him. He is the man I love and I know you would have supported us. I miss you guys a lot". Levi's voice trailed off. Eren began to speak. "You all seemed like amazing people. You can still make Levi smile even after you're gone. I wish I had the honor to meet you all while you were still here. I am great full for all that you have done. You guys have done more for Levi then anyone else so far. I wish one day I could be more like all of you". Eren smiled at the graves and then looked over at Levi who had tears falling for his eyes. Levi smiled at Eren then pulled him in for a tight hug.

"Levi can we visit one other person while we're here". Eren asked nervously. "Sure, I don't see why not". Eren had remebered the way. Eren had seen the familiar grave and limped over to it. "Levi I would like you to meet my mom".

Levi didn't realize that Eren's mother was buried in the same cemetery as his friend. After Levi thought it over he thought it made sense. The cemetery was the closest one around.

"Mom you were always so supportive of me. You accepted me even when I came out to you. You didn't tell dad when I asked you to keep it a secret. You were the best mom a boy could have. You were always there for me. I'm sorry I haven't visited you in a while dad wouldn't take me to see you, but Levi brought me. I'm sure you know about all the stuff that has happened. I just want you to know I'm okay now. Levi gave me a place to stay he has comforted me and he is helping me to get better. You would have loved him. He is caring and kind even though he doesn't show it to many people. I'm one of the lucky ones that get to see this side of him. He's been through some of the same things I have been through. Mom he is the man I love". Levi looked at Eren who was in tears. Eren fell to his knees and levi sat next to him and hugged him as he cried.

After a few minutes Levi began to speak. "Mrs. Jeager your son is an amazing person. I can tell he gets it from you. I know you cared about him a lot and worry for his well being. I want you to know that I will treat your son with respect and I will take care of him. I love him and I would never hurt him". Eren hugged Levi tighter knowing his words are true. He felt safe.

Levi went on talking to Eren's mom's grave. He told her everything about Eren. He told her the struggles he went through. He told her that Eren is trying to get better. He told her how he took over after she passed. He told her how amazing he thought her son was. Eren sat there and never has he felt more loved then in this moment.

They headed back towards the steps. Levi picked Eren up on his back and carried him down the steps. They got to the car and started to leave the cemetery. Levi began to speak up. " Your dad doesn't let you visit your mom"? Levi asked concerned. "No, everytime I asked about it he would change the subject, or yell at me, or beat me". Eren's eyes began to tear up again. Levi pulled the car over into a nearby parking lot. He pulled Eren into a hug. " Well now I'll take you to see her whenever you want". Levi gave Eren a comforting smile. Eren pulled Levi into a kiss. When he broke away he began to speak. " You are the man I love".
