Eren opened his eyes, blinking a few times as he tried to adjust his vision to the new day. He lifted his head off of Levi's chest to see Levi was still sound asleep underneath him. Eren smiled seeing his lover still in a peaceful slumber. He grabbed his phone to checked the time. He noticed Levi still had another half an hour to sleep. Eren decided not to wake him. He slowly and carefully got out of Levi's grip trying to make sure Levi stayed asleep.

Eren quietly made his way to the guest room where his bag of clothes was. He grabbed some clothes and went into the bathroom to get ready. Once he was dressed and had finished freshening up he peeked back inside Levi's room to check and make sure he was still asleep. When Eren poked his head in Levi was breathing softly and his eyes were closed. Eren smiled and put the note he had wrote, while getting ready, next to Levi's phone on the nightstand. He quietly left the room and slowly made his way down the stairs being extra careful not to trip over his bad ankle.

Levi woke up around ten minutes later. He bolted upright gasping for air, his cheeks were wet, and he was drenched in sweat. He took a deep breath realizing it was just another nightmare. He looked at the empty space beside him on the bed and got a little concerned. He went to check his phone to see if Eren had texted him. That's when he had seen the note on his nightstand. 'I'm downstairs with breakfast, I left this note just in case you woke up before I could wake you.' Levi slid out of bed walking down the stairs.

When Levi made it down the stairs Eren was standing at the microwave opening it. "What smells good?" Levi asked scaring Eren half to death. Eren had almost dropped the plate of hot food jumping at Levi's who had popped up behind him. "Levi! I wasn't expecting that." Eren said laughing off his mini heart attack and setting the food down on the counter before he dropped it. "Did you teleport or something, I didn't even hear you walk in," said Eren laughing. "Anyways, I made leftovers. It's the only thing I can make." Eren chuckled and Levi smiled and sat down at the table as Eren joined him. "Well I appreciate it, I'm starving." Levi said letting out a yawn as he was still tired.

"Now who has the bed head." Eren said ruffling Levi's hair with a giggle as they finished up their food. Levi smiled and looked into the boy's cheerful eyes. "Oh my gosh, Levi have you been crying?" Eren said seeing Levi's eyes were red and still a bit puffy. "It was just a nightmare, I didn't even realize I was crying." Levi said letting out a fake laugh as he wiped his eyes. "You want to talk about it?" Eren asked scooting closer to Levi. "It was stupid." Levi said trying to dismiss the feelings, but Eren seen through it. "Normally when people say things are stupid they actually care about them, but are afraid of what others would think or that they would burden someone." Eren said speaking from experience, as he looked into Levi's eyes to try and find a telltale emotion to see what he was thinking. "You know something, I hate it when you're right." Levi said confessing that was what he was doing. "Okay then, tell me about it." Eren said focusing all his attention onto Levi so he could listen to every word so he could help.
