Levi had decided it was time for him to go home to change and shower. He said goodbye giving Eren a kiss and a ruffle of the hair before, to Eren's inconvenience, telling Hanji to look after him.

She happily agreed before hugging Eren tightly. "I'll take extra good care of you." She said enthusiastically.

Eren was now stuck in the suffocating, yet warm and comforting care of Hanji. Though he would have to endure her constant questions of concern and care, he didn't seem to care all that much. He was more enjoying her company.

Eren decided that he would distract her to stop her from the nagging questions as he was tired of writing the same replies on the whiteboard. He wrote down something to keep both of them busy, he always loved her stories.

Hanji stopped mid questioned to read the whiteboard. "Can you tell me a story, you can decide whether it's real or fiction." She read it out loud. She nodded and thought. "What kind of story would you like?" She said before thinking, "let's what I can do, Romance, Adventure, Sad, or hmm, do you have anything in particular." She said looking at him.

He thought quickly about the choices, 'hmmm all of her suggestions were good, and she is an amazing story teller, all of them were good choices.' He made up his mind and with a smile he quickly wrote down 'surprise me.' He then turned the bored around and then asked if she was planning on telling a fictional story or a real story.

In reply she just said "I'll tell you at the end."

"Alright, let's see." She paused trying to decide what direction she wanted to take with this story. "Okay got it."

"So I hope you don't mind, I mean I don't think you will, but this story is about two guys." Hanji smiled and waited for Eren to shrug.

"So long ago there was this shy prince named Nicholas Lockheart, he was caring, brave and innocent. His eyes were a deep ocean blue color that shimmered in the light. His hair was a light brown shade that was shoulder length. He was well built and tall. He lived in a castle that was dark and eerie with a presence surrounding it that was oh so terrifying. The castle was old, dirty and downright scary with a ruler that was even more so.

Nicholas was a war prisoner. He had been kidnapped at a young age, for leverage, during a war between two kingdoms. Taken away from the ones he loved, his mother, his brother, and his sister. The deranged king promised the child's safe return after the other kingdom surrendered. After they surrendered they king went back on his words claiming ignorance to everything. They had desperately tried to bargain with the demented king for their loved ones safe return, but to no avail. Years passed and it wasn't long until Nicholas had forgot about his family, being too young to remember.

The king had decided that after all these years that it was time he allowed a little trust in the captured child that loved him so dearly with no memory of anything else. He heard of a party at a neighboring kingdom and had decided to send the Stockholm boy to it as a reward for being so obedient. The only reason he was allowed to go was because it was a masquerade ball, with the mask over his face no one would recognize him.

The boy leaped for joy when his 'father' came and proposed the idea. He gave a bright smile and promised to behave himself. He agreed the outrageous conditions. No take off his mask, don't speak about where he is from, don't say his name, and under no circumstances was he permitted to talk to princess for more than a minute to tell them that was busy and couldn't speak. The king fear the boy would fall in love with a beautiful young woman and leave, or worse take his spot for the throne. As it was the boy had come of age.

Nevertheless Nicholas agreed to the meaningless conditions and respected them planning on never dishonoring his beloved father.

The day approached and Nicholas was enthusiastic. He was running around his room getting everything together making sure everything was perfect. He had found out the night before after reading the invite he was going to the ball of a young king Alexander Winslow. The king had taken the throne only a year prior after his parents were assassinated by an unknown assailant from another kingdom.

When Nicholas arrived at the ball he was quite nervous and could feel his hands shaking with his heart up in his throat. He had made it in and was standing in a large beautiful castle with a gigantic room filled with people. He looked around not expecting to see any familiar faces but looked hopeful someone wouldn't notice just how out of place he felt.

After a while of standing around in different spots mostly towards the wall, alone all except for a few princesses that had walked up to ask for a dance to only be kindly let down. A young gentlemen had walked up and greeted him. " Hello there" he said trying to strike up a conversation. " I couldn't help but notice you seem a bit anxious, would you like to go somewhere with a little less people?" He asked pointing to the door that led to the backyard. Nicholas found himself unable to speak yet again and just nodded.

The two men went out the door, where there were very few people lingering around, and resumed the mostly one sided conversation. "Feeling better." The kind man asked checking on his new acquaintance. Nicholas once again nodded trying to return his heart rate back to normal having no clue of why it was acting like this. "Thank you."Nicholas muttered to shy to even look the guy in the face. "So I can tell this isn't your thing, going to parties and such." The man said with a chuckle as he reached his hand up to his mouth shielding it. "Don't worry I don't care much for them either."

"The name is Alex." He said politely introducing himself with his hand outstretched. "Nick." Nicholas said shaking his hand. 'I only gave him my nickname, I hope father is not angry at me for that.' He thought before snapping back to the conversation. It hadn't dawned on him that his new friend had also been using his nickname. "I hope you don't mind if I hang around you all night, I don't have many friends here with me." He said with a shrug. "I don't mind, I came here alone, it's nice to have a little company." Nicholas said with a smile."

"Wow wait wait wait wait wait," Eren interrupted. "What's going to happen?" He asked with wide eyes and a hoarse voice.

"Hey, no speaking, and if I tell you then it won't be a surprise." Hanji said laughing at how engrossed Eren was with the story. "Anyways, where was I..."
