Jean pushed the door open to the bathroom. "He's stable." He called out to inform Levi. When he saw Levi crying it broke his heart. 'This man is the strongest man I know. He shows little to no emotion, but here he is crying his heart out in the bathroom.' Jean thought as he watched Levi grab some paper towels and they ran out of the bathroom to meet Mikasa to go into the room.

Jean thought a little harder about what Levi must be feeling as they were directed to the room. He imagined how he'd feel if Marco had been in Eren's position. He understood in that moment how much pain Levi must be in. 'He is hurting more than I can even imagine right now, yet he made sure we were okay before he-.' Jean's thoughts were cut off as they turned into Eren's room.

Eren was hooked up to multiple machines. He had bandages everywhere that was visible. He had a bandage wrapped around his head where there was probably stitches from the huge gash across the left side of his temple just next to his hairline. His arms were covered in bandages that looked like they had been changed multiple times. His neck had bandages around it from some minor cuts that were on the right side of his neck probably caused by his father's boot.

Eren had tubes connected to him everywhere. He had a tube going down his throat leading to his stomach. He had a tube going up each nostril making sure he was getting oxygen. He had an needle for an IV. He looked so battered and tired. Mikasa's breath caught in her throat when she saw her brother lying there. Jean bit his lip trying to refrain from tearing up again.

Levi was the last to enter the room. The second he caught a glimpse of Eren his eyes began to tear up more than before as he remembered the nurse's words. "Fifteen percent chance he will wake up." The words played on repeat in his head like a broken record. He bit his lip hard to try to keep from crying out. He was biting down so hard in order to stay quiet that he could taste blood in his mouth.

Mikasa turned around to say something to Levi but saw him in tears and closed her slightly parted mouth. She said nothing but walked up to him and wrapped her arms around him in order to comfort him. "I know." She whispered as tears fell from her eyes. No one really knew what to do in this situation. They each decided that they would stay the night in the hospital in fear of leaving Eren.

Levi's phone had been blowing up in his pocket with calls and texts from Erwin and Hanji trying to know what happened. After about an hour of sitting in the silent room trying to calm down Levi took a deep breath and excused himself. He went into the nearest bathroom and decided to call them back.
