"What wrong?" Levi asked setting the cookbook down and walking over to Eren who was sitting at the bar. "Nothings wrong, I think I'm just hungry." Eren said forcing a giggle. "Don't pull that shit, something's bugging you. Now spill." Levi said sitting down next to Eren. He took his hands in his and looked him in the eyes. Eren's eyes started to tear up as he stared into Levi's caring and kind eyes. "I don't want to go back." Eren whimpered out before leaning his head up against Levi's chest. "I'm so sorry, I was trying not to make a big deal. I tried so hard not to involve you because I don't want to burden you with those unwanted feelings, but I can't do it. I need you."

"Eren I am here for you. I never want you to think that you can't come to me with something especially not because you are afraid of burdening me. You never have and never will be a burden." Levi said hugging Eren tightly and kissing his forehead. Eren lightly sobbed into Levi's embrace but his muscles relaxed as Levi's arms held him close. "Eren I have an idea if you will listen." Levi said thinking of ways to get out of the situation. Eren nodded and listened as Levi spoke.

Erwin had decided to make a call home to Eren's parent or legal guardian. He looked up the phone number and typed it in. He hesitated before pressing dial, but decided to proceed. He clicked dial and waited for an answer or a dial tone. "Hello?" A male's voice answered on the other side of the line. It seemed to be a bit of a hostile tone. "Hello sir, I am Mr. Smith, the principal at Eren Jaeger's high school. Is this Mr. Jaeger?" Erwin asked with a professional tone. "Oh hello is my son in trouble? What did he do now?" The man asked as he changed his tone from hostile to a softer tone.

"He hasn't done anything wrong. He has actually improved greatly on his academics and his social skills." Erwin noted speaking highly of Eren. "That, however, is not what I am calling about." Erwin paused and took a breath. "I have reasons to believe your son is in an stressful or unsafe environment." Erwin said paying close attention to how the man reacted to such news. "Wherever did you hear that." The man gasped. His tone was almost forced and it had a menacing underlying tone. "I can assure you Eren is perfectly safe here." His father struggled to state his name and when he did it was with hatred. "He has been coming to school recently with bruises and burn marks." Erwin said in an emotionless tone.

"Oh that, I told him he needs to start hanging around a better crowed. After school he hangs out with a bunch of delinquents, I've been trying to stop him. It's just hard to look after him and my daughter at the same time." Mr. Jaeger said making one poor excuse after another. "Well I ask that you keep your son on a shorter leash, and make sure he stays safe." Erwin said not buying into his lie but knowing he won't get anything out of him. "I will, I'm sorry for all the trouble that boy puts you threw I'll 'talk to him'." His father said with emphasis on the last part of his statement, before rudely hanging up the phone. "I should have never called him." Erwin said to himself as he dialed another phone number.

Levi had finished explaining the plan and Eren sat there unsure what to think of it. "I don't know if that would work." Eren stated with a face of disbelief. "Come on it's bound to work." Levi said with hope. "I don't know." Eren said before his attention was draw to something else. "Levi your phone's ringing." Levi walked over to his phone and checked who was calling. "It's Erwin, I'll get it later." Levi said silencing his phone. "Now back to the plan." Levi said walking back over to Eren.

Erwin got the dial tone and cursed under his breath. "Levi, whatever you do. Don't let Eren go back home tonight. Call me back as soon as you get this message." Erwin said before hanging up the phone. "Shit." He mumbled laying his head on his desk. "I really fucked up this time." Erwin whispered into his arms. He felt sick to his stomach with guilt and worry. He sat next to his phone waiting for Levi to call him back.
