"Nope, no one has been in my passenger seat for years. You know that." Levi said giving Erwin a confused look. "That's right, sorry I must be seeing things." Erwin said laughing it off. "Alright, have a good rest of the day, see you tomorrow." Erwin said as the light changed green. Erwin drove by Levi for two more minutes before turning down an intersecting street. After Levi passed the street he let out a sigh of relief. "Phew, that was close." Eren said relaxing up against the seat. Levi let out a small chuckle and turned Eren's phone back on and clicked shuffle. The song safe and sound came on. "This is one of my favorite songs." Eren whispered. Levi smiled and took one hand off the steering wheel and held Eren's hand. "Mine too." Levi said softly.

Levi began singing to Eren as he drove. 'I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'll never let you go, when all those shadows almost killed your light. I remember you said don't leave me here alone.' Levi sang softly to Eren holding his hand tightly, to let him know he isn't going anywhere. Eren was blushing and smiled at Levi. 'Just close your eyes the sun is going down. You'll be alright no one can hurt you now.' Levi continued on meaning every word.

Eren closed his eyes and held Levi's hand in a tight grip as he listened to Levi's beautiful voice. Eren's eyes felt heavy and he felt tired as he began to doze off, captivated by his lover's alluring voice.'Don't you dare look out your window darling everything's on fire. The war outside our door keeps raging on.' As he drifted off to sleep, he still heard Levi's voice singing the calming words. 'Hold on to this lullaby.' As he slept he felt calm and safe. As the song went on Levi kept singing and kept a hold of Eren's hand. He felt Eren's hand loosen its grip and he looked over at the boy to see him sleeping peacefully. "Sleep well brat." Levi said before continuing singing. He looked over at Eren to see him sleeping but his face wasn't tensed, he didn't look like he was having a nightmare he looked peaceful. He looked like he felt safe in his own mind for one of the first times. He sang the last few lines softly finishing the song. 'Just close your eyes, you'll be alright. come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.' Levi finished singing and brought Eren's hand up to his lips and kissed the boy's hand.

Levi continued to drive as different song from Eren's phone came on. The next song that came on wasn't even in English. "What is this shit?" Levi said grabbing the phone and reading the name of the song. "Sword art online opening one crossing fields." Levi read the name that shown on the phone. "Must be another anime." Levi mumbled while smirking. He set the phone down and glanced at Eren. 'This brats such a nerd, but he's my nerd.' Levi thought smiling to himself as the strange song continued to play. He pulled up at Eren's house moments later. 'I really hate waking him up.' Levi thought as he parked the car. "Eren, time to wake up." Levi said putting his hand on the boy's cheek. "Come on sleepy head, You can sleep after you grab your stuff." Levi said as Eren opened his eyes. "Sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep." Eren said blinking a few times. "It's okay no need to apologize it's been a rough day." Levi said sighing. "I'll make it quick so we can leave." Eren said opening the car door and running into the house.
