Eren woke up screaming. This wasn't the first time this sort of thing has happened. Eren is quite used to this by now as is mikasa, but Levi hasn't experience this with Eren before. "Eren what's wrong." Levi asked. He was already awake when he heard Eren scream. "Im-." Mikasa ran in. "Is everything okay?" She asked panicked. "Yeah. Sorry, I'm fine. Just another nightmare. Go back to sleep." "You sure you don't want to talk about it?" "No I'll be fine. Thanks though." Mikasa hugged Eren. "Alright I'll go back to bed. Hey Levi I know your still there, you try and help him he is more likely to talk to you." Mikasa said before exiting the room and returning to bed.

"Eren do you want to talk to me about it?" "I don't know." "You can tell me if you like." "But I would be keeping you awake." "Eren I've been up for about an hour now." Oh." "Only tell me if you feel comfortable sharing." "It was um, it was about you." "Me?" "Yeah. At first it was a good dream but then ... they came." "Who?" "My dad's friends." "They took Mikasa. We went to save her then ... They got you to. They made me watch as they-." Eren couldn't finish his sentance. Tears were streaming down his face. "It's okay Eren. It wasn't real. Mikasa is safe. I am safe. We are both safe. It wasn't real." Levi said calming Eren and reassuring him everything was okay.

Eventually Levi managed to calm Eren down. "We should try and sleep again." Levi said looking at Eren's tired face. "Okay. I don't really want to but I don't really have a choice." "Yeah. The test tomorrow will kill you without any sleep." It took them a while but they both managed to get back to sleep this time for the night ... or what little was left of it.
