Mikasa walked over to Eren's side taking a seat. "So what have you been dying to talk about?" She asked as she crossed her legs under her in the chair.

"How did you know I wanted to talk about something." Eren asked with a slight pout. He hated being so predictable.

"It was written all over your face for the last twenty minutes." Mikasa laughed, "anyways so what is it?"

"Well I wanted to ask your opinion." Eren said in a more serious tone.

Mikasa immediately seen Eren's posture change, he was more hunched over and avoiding eye contact by letting his hair fall in his eyes and looking down, and is that blush on his cheeks? "On what?"

"Levi." Eren whispered embarrassed. He sounded like a child with their first crush.

"What do you mean my opinion about him?" Mikasa asked not sure what Eren wanted to hear.

He had asked her this question before, but that was before she knew Levi, at first she had known Mr. Rivaille, her french teacher. A strict bastard who seemed to have no emotion and enjoyed the suffering of others. Things have changed, now she knows Levi, a kind man with a big heart, he just has trouble showing it. He genuinely cares about people, about Eren, about her.

"I think you and him were meant to be." Mikasa said with a soft smile surprising Eren. "At first I didn't believe in soulmates, but now I think I do. You two were meant to be together. He's a great guy and he treats you right, he treats you like you're his greatest treasure." Mikasa said with a smile that grew the more she spoke.

"Thank you Mikasa," Eren said blushing from her kind words. "He cares a lot about you too, ya know." Eren said noticing the little things he does, it's almost like they had created their own little family.

"Yeah, he is very kind." Mikasa said before ruffling his hair, "but if he hurts you I'll still kick his ass." Mikasa said messing around with Eren.

"Yeah I know." Eren laughed, "Hopefully that never happens." Eren smiled, he could never imagine Levi hurting him.

"Eren, in all seriousness, don't let this one get away, there's not many people like him." Mikasa said sitting down on the bed next to Eren.

"I won't, I don't plan on letting him go." Eren said blushing.

They talked a little more about Levi before the room went silent. Eren broke the silence after a while catching Mikasa's attention.

"Mikasa?" Eren asked nervously.

"Yeah?" she said looking him in the eyes, to which he quickly averted his gaze.

"Can I tell you something, that I've been thinking recently." Eren asked a bit more hesitant than usual.

"Of course, anything." Mikasa said leaning in a little closer as Eren seemed to be speaking in a hushed voice. She couldn't tell if his quietness is from nervousness or fear of speaking what the was saying. By the way he spoke it sounded like both, he was afraid to say what he was thinking and that's what caused him to be nervous.

"Relationships are poison." Eren said with such hatred but cleared his throat and took a breath before continuing. "Well, that's what I used to think, but I'm not so sure anymore." Eren said, he couldn't seem to find the right words to continue.

"What do you mean?" Mikasa asked caught of guard with shock by the statement he made andthe way he said it. She looked at him aghast not sure what he was getting at.

"I mean, everywhere I looked all the relationships I seen were vial, poison. Everywhere I looked there were relationships that just seemed to be deleterious to the people in and around them. "My relationships before Levi, our parents, the people at school, even complete strangers, they all were poison. They always ended in the worst ways, or their would be nonstop fighting, or they were just damaging to everyone involved. I thought that happiness was an illusion and that everyone was just hiding the truth. This is why I got into fandoms, because those relationships seemed so pure, so real, they didn't seem like poison, but the cure." Eren said before catching himself.

"Sorry I've seemed to go off topic." Eren sighed. "But with Levi it-it's different. I feel that pure and real relationship this time. Everything I have ever known has just went out the door and that scares me but at the same time I'm happy."

Eren said looking up at Mikasa. He looked like he was expecting advice on this subject, but she honestly didn't know if she could give him any. She had never know about her brothers feelings of this topic. She didn't really know if she could say anything she sat there with her mouth open for a minute just trying to put words together.

"I don't know what to say. I guess you'll just have to wait and see, but I am pretty sure that everything will work out for you this time. Levi is different from everyone else, you and I both know that." Is all Mikasa could say, she tried to reassure him as much as she could, but not even she could see the future, so making promises was out of the question.

"You're right but it still scares me a little. I know he is different, but am I. What if I'm just as bad as the others? What if I hurt him? What if I am the one that is poison? That is the last thing I want, I just want him to be happy." Eren said biting his lip to stop himself from saying anything more. He had to keep his emotions buried knowing Levi would be back any minute and he would have to pretend he was okay.

"Eren you're not poison, you're one of the sweetest most kind person I know, and you love Levi and Levi loves you. You already make him happy." She said thinking of how Levi smiled all night just playing a silly board game. She thought of how he pulled her aside and practically was a nervous wreck asking for her blessing.

"He really does love you, and you really love him. It will all be okay." She said and Eren looked up at her and nodded.
