When Levi looked in the hospital room, his grey eyes met with Hanji's hazelish brown ones. "You're awake." Levi's voice held relief. "Yeah, sorry about all of this." Hanji laughed rubbing the back of her head. "What happened?" Levi asked as him and Eren walked in and sat down. Levi sat on the side of the bed and Eren sat in the chair next to the bed. "Well I was testing out a lab for next week's lesson, but I bumped a veil or two that contained chemicals that when mixed created a reaction. I guess that reaction was an explosive one." Hanji said chuckling. "Why are you laughing you could have died." Levi said slightly raising his voice. "I'm fine, just some cuts and bruises and a minor concussion." Hanji shrugged. "Hanji, you really gave us a scare. When we found you there, you were unresponsive, unconscious, and you were in a pool of your own blood." Levi said as his eyes showed the fear as his brain relived the moment. 'So much blood.' Levi's thoughts drifted off to a different memory that contained the same bloody sights.

"Levi, hey snap out of it." Hanji said snapping her fingers in front of Levi's eyes. Levi snapped back to reality. Levi felt a hand on his shoulder and a different hand on his leg. He looked around to see who was touching him. Eren's hand was on his shoulder, and he was standing behind him with a concerned expression. Hanji was sitting up as far as she could and her hand was on his thigh. "Levi are you okay?" Hanji asked as she looked Levi in the eyes. "I'm fine, why are you guys acting so weird?" Levi asked looking between the two. "Sweetie you're crying, and you were staring at the wall unresponsive for the last five minutes." Hanji said grabbing Levi's hand.

Levi used his other hand to wipe away the tears that he hadn't even realized were falling. "I'm fine, Hanji I'm sorry." Levi said squeezing her hand. "Why are you sorry?" Hanji asked tilting her head in confusion. "The way I always treat you, it's terrible. I'm so sorry." Levi said hanging his head low. "Oh come on don't give me that shit." Hanji said and Levi lifted his head to look at her. "That's our thing, if you apologize then I'm going to have to apologize, and you of all people should know I don't like apologizing." Hanji said with a little smile. Levi's eyes met Hanji's once more and relief washed over him. "Yeah, I guess you're right, shitty glasses." Hanji smiled and retorted. "I always am, short stack." Eren smiled as he watched the two. 'I'm glad they are back to their normal shenanigans.'
