Author's Note~ I am sad to say that this story will be ending soon, BUT there is going to be a sequel. I will talk more about the sequel later, but it is set 4 years after this story ends. Anyways hope you enjoy the rest of the story there isn't that many chapters left to go, I don't know exactly how many chapters are left at this moment. Eren woke up, not even remembering falling asleep in the first place. He looked over at Levi who was still laying in the bed next to him sleeping soundly. 'Oh now I remember, I got tired after eating the food from scouts and I insisted Levi laid next to me in the bed.' Eren smiled. 'I must have been more tired than I realized I fell asleep really fast.'

Eren looked back over to Levi and couldn't help but smile at how peaceful he looked. The bags under his eyes were almost completely gone. Eren had to hold back his urge to push the hair out of his lover's eyes knowing he would probably wake up at the slightest touch.

Eren checked the time and was grateful that he could go back to sleep knowing that Levi would still be next to him when he woke.

Levi opened his eyes and saw that Eren was sleeping peacefully cuddled up next to him. He smiled knowing he had nothing to worry about and that Eren would be fine.

A nurse walked in and was shocked to see him awake. "Oh, didn't realize you were awake." She laughed getting startled when walking in the hospital room. "I have good news," she said smiling and taking a seat next to Levi on the chair.

"So after looking over the ex-rays and talking it over with the doctor, we decided that Eren will be find to go home tomorrow." The nurse said with a bright smile. "We want to keep him one more day to ensure no more damage will happen to his lung. It looks like it's healing but we want him here one more day to make sure it's okay to heal by itself. Other than that he seems to be free to go home. We will let you know for sure tonight after the final ex-rays come back, but so far all the news is good." The nurse finished and stood up.

Levi thanked her and watched as she smiled at him one last time before having to go to the next patient. He looked back to Eren who was still snuggled up next to him. He patted his head gently playing with his hair as he let out a sigh. "We'll finally be able to go home Eren." Levi said wrapping his arms around Eren pulling him close to him.

Eren yawned and opened his eyes. His gaze was met with Levi's loving eyes. "Good morning sleepy head." Levi said ruffling his hair. Eren giggled still in a daze from his sleep.

Levi waited to tell Eren the good news until he woke up a bit more. "Eren good news, there is a pretty high chance we can go home tomorrow." Levi said with a grin ear to ear.

Eren's eyes widened at the good news. "Really!" He asked excited.

"Yup." Levi nodded, "It's not definite yet, they have to look at the final few ex-rays, but so far it's only good news." Levi said placing a loving kiss on Eren's forehead.

"That's great. Did you tell Mikasa?" Eren asked knowing she has been off lately, only because she was worried about him.

"Yup, I texted her when I got the news. She was really relieved to hear such good news." Levi said holding his phone.

"Did you tell anyone else?" Eren asked remembering how worried they all were.

"I told Erwin and Hanji, they are so happy to hear that you are going to be back at home soon." Levi said. "Hanji was even talking about throwing you a surprise party, I told her you have to recover a little more before you are ready for a party, but don't tell her I told you." Levi said laughing as he gave away the surprise.

Eren laughed knowing now he would have to fake being shocked at the surprise when it came. Which is going to be interesting since he couldn't tell a lie if his life depended on it. Maybe he could find a loophole. Is all he could think laughing mentally at the task.

"Did you talk to Jean or Marco yet?" Eren asked as his eye landed on the teddy bear on the bedside table.

"No not yet." Levi answered shrugging. "You should tell them." Levi said handing him his phone.

"Aren't they in the middle of class." Eren said teasing Levi knowing he should counsel him about disturbing their learning, even though he would never say such a thing.

"Just text them, I know you kids are always texting in class." Levi laughed. "I see everything, even you google translating french in the middle of my class." Levi added raising an eyebrow.

Eren's eyes widened and gasped at the words before covering his mouth. "You know about that?" Eren asked shamefully.

"I see everything brat." Levi said laughing before giving him a playful kiss on the nose. "Besides I know that no one pays attention in my class." Levi said shrugging.

Levi really did see everything and he  wasn't telling him was how he noticed every little thing Eren did. He watched him from the corner of his eye all the time. Dozing off, doodling, playing on his phone. Levi was always watching Eren to see what he was up to, he was intrigued by his habits that he had picked up on.

Like how his posture changes based on his mood or how his style of drawing changes based on his emotions. He noticed that when he was anxious or sad he was more hunched over with his legs together, but when he was happy his feet were apart and his back was straight. Or how his doodles were more smooth and clean when his mood was happy, but when he was sad or mad his doodles were messier with jagged lines, but still beautiful in a different way.

Levi smiled remembering the little things that Eren did that made him fall in love with him in the first place.

"What?" Eren asked looking up after sending the text that's when he noticed Levi had gone quiet with a smile on his face.

Levi snapped back to reality and looked at Eren. "You're cute, you know that." He said placing a kiss on his cheek and ruffling his hair.

Eren sat there slightly baffled but hey he wasn't complaining.
