Eren pouted embarrassed that they were laughing at his blush covered cheeks. "You guy's are mean." He wrote on the whiteboard keeping his pout on his face and slightly glaring at them.

Levi read the board smiled, "Awe, we didn't mean to anger you, we were just joking around." Levi said kissing Eren's pouty lips.

Eren tried as hard as he could to fight the urge to kiss back but his efforts were in vain. He gently kissed back dropping the pout.

Levi pulled away and smiled, "There we go." He said ruffling his hair.

Eren smiled and playfully pushed his hands away before trying to fix his already messy hair.

Hanji smiled and muttered, "This is fan-fiction gold," to herself before pushing away the urges to take notes.

All of their heads turned hearing a knock on the door.

"Sorry I didn't mean to interrupt anything," Erwin said nervously peeking his head through the doorway. "I just had to make sure you were okay." Erwin said standing in the doorway with his head bowed unsure if Eren blamed him for what happened.

Levi had filled Eren in on what had happened and how Erwin felt about it. He thought Eren had a right to know what happened and make his own decisions about who's to blame.

Erwin looked up at Eren's face expecting to see anger and hatred but instead was meet with a bright smile and kind eyes.

Eren wrote on his board and showed it to Erwin. "I know what you did." It said before he turned it back around writing something else. Before turning it back around for him to read the rest.

Erwin read it and froze not knowing how to respond. The whiteboard said, "I don't blame you for anything, I know what your intentions were and I forgive you so please don't blame yourself anymore."

Eren was sitting there smiling trying to make Erwin feel as welcome in the room as possible. He knew how it felt to blame himself for everything whether it was his fault or not, and he didn't want anyone to fell that way ever especially not one of his friends.

Erwin didn't know what to do. He just stood there.  He stood up straight and took a deep breath. "I know you said you forgive me, but I can't forgive myself, at least not until I formally apologize and at least try to make it up to you." Erwin said standing up straight and taking a deep breath.

"I never meant you any harm by any of this. When I call your father the thought never occurred to me that he was the one who was causing you all this pain. Before I knew it I had royal, as you say, fucked up." Erwin said hanging his head in shame. "I immediately tried to call Levi, but he didn't answer. I tried everything, his house phone his cell phone and Hanji multiple times. I should have drove over to Levi's house, but I didn't think he was home." Erwin took a deep breath. "By the time I got a hold of Levi it was too late. Everything that I was trying to prevent and more happened, and I am so sorry. I should have tried harder to get to you, I should have found a way to warn you."

Erwin could feel himself getting off topic and took a deep breath. "I am really truly sorry for what happened, I will make sure that man never lays another hand on you again, I feel so bad for what happened. I know you said you weren't mad at me, but if you were then you don't have to hide it I deserve it. I should have talked to you and Levi first instead of calling home." Erwin said lowering his head.

"I am really sorry, I would give everything I could to take it back, but I can't, no matter how hard I try I can never take it back." Erwin said finishing his statement with his head low and his eyes watery.

Eren's eyes had watered and it made it hard for him to write on the whiteboard but he did his best.

"I forgive you, I know you never meant for that to happen and I'm glad you made all this effort to apologize, it isn't in vain." The board said as he wiped his tears away.

Erwin picked his head up and read the whiteboard. He smiled and took a calming breath. "Thank you." He said bowing his head respectfully.

Eren motioned for Erwin to come closer to him trying to bring back the smiles that were in the room a few minutes prior. Erwin approached unsure of what to expect.

Eren patted Erwin on the head before smiling showing him that he wanted him to smile.

Erwin caught on and gave Eren a little smile. Eren smiled back brightly before writing on the whiteboard "There we go, everything is back to how it should be, smiles all around!"

Erwin smiled and patted Eren on his shoulder, "I'm glad." Erwin said in a whisper. 'I'm glad y forgave me when I feared you wouldn't, but it will take a little more for me to forgive myself. Thanks for trying though' Erwin thought still showing Eren a genuine smile.
