Eren was standing in the doorway and the first thing he saw when he ran into the room was himself hooked up to a bunch of beeping machines. He started freaking out when he finally saw with his own eyes what was really happening. He had known in his head all along but seeing it made it real. "NO NO NO, THIS CAN'T BE REAL!" Eren yelled falling to his knees as he started to freak out.

Eren's heart monitor started to beep again. It was going crazy and everyone in the room started to freak out. The nurse ran into the room to see what was happening. "Heart rate is spiking." She called to the doctor as the doctor ran in.

Eren noticed that his heart rate was spiking. "Am I doing that?" Eren whispered with a shaky voice as he watched the doctors and nurses try to figure out how to stop it. "I have to calm down." Eren said taking a few deep breaths." The beeping slowed down and eventually went back to normal.

The doctor checked Eren's vitals before deciding that he was okay again before leaving to help another patient. The nurse turned to leave again but Levi caught her arm before she did. "Do you know what is causing his heart rate to spike?" Levi asked with fear hinting at his voice.

"I would have to say it's panic." The nurse said in a soft voice. "What do you mean by that?" Levi asked really unsure about what the nurse was telling him. "I mean that in his state whether it's because his dream or whatever he is experiencing at this moment it frightening him or something along those lines." The nurse explained to the best of her abilities. "It's actually quite common in this situation." She added before Levi nodded and let her go back to work. she forgot to mention the commonality that sometimes these situations can lead to hear attacks. 

Eren had heard the nurse explain to Levi what they thought was happening. "So every time I let my feelings get the best of me I endanger my life." Eren said trying not to freak out at the thought. He took a few deep breaths to calm his mind that was beginning to race with the worst outcomes.

He took another look around the room noticing it was very different from his dreams. Everything else seemed to stay the same but the things that happened in his room always changed. Not only Levi was there, like in his dream, but Mikasa, Jean, Erwin, and Hanji were all in the room with him. 'What are they all doing here.' He thought as he looked around at all the sad tear stained faces. "Am I dying?" Eren whispered in fear "Is this the end for me?" He bit back his emotions in order to stop his heart rate from spiking again as he felt a rush of panic.

"Alright visiting hours are well past over, I can't let you all stay any longer. Three of you can stay but no more." The nurse informed them. They had already decided that Mikasa, Jean, and Levi would stay with Eren. Erwin and Hanji promised they would come and visit before work. Erwin had called in a substitute for Levi so he wouldn't have to leave Eren's side.

Hanji gave them all a heartfelt hug and said her goodbyes. She really didn't want to leave but knew she had to. "Please drive safe." Levi reminded her knowing her eyesight is a little blurry from her red and teary eyes. She nodded before pulling her keys out of her pocket waiting in the hallway for Erwin to join her. Erwin said his goodbyes and walked out to meet Hanji in the hallway before they left for the night.
