Eren let out a little chuckle as he ran his fingers through Levi's unkempt hair. He attempted to lighten the mood by messing with his lover a little, like they always used to.

"What's so funny? Huh brat?" Levi asked looking up at Eren's emerald eyes with a slight pout on his lips catching onto Eren's sarcastic laugh. He missed his lover's teasing and playful attitude and couldn't help but mentally smile at the  hint of a playful pass.

"You are usually so well kempt and orderly, but look at you," Eren laughed ruffling Levi's hair. "Your hair isn't even brushed."

Levi clicked his tongue and ruffled the boy's hair, "you're one to talk, Mr. I haven't brushed my hair in days." Levi said letting out a laugh that would bring a smile to anyone who heard it, including Eren.

"Glad to see you both are having fun." The nurse said walking into the room but her smile faded after seconds and her happiness was short lived. "Eren there are people here to see you." She sighed. "They say they are your uncles." She said with a knowing voice. "I tried to tell them they can't come in but they pushed their way through, they said they will search every room until they find you." She said sadly but she had a hint of hope in her voice. "I have a plan."

Eren was sitting there fear stricken and Levi had unbearable  rage. They both kept their ears open listening to every word that she spoke. they believed her plan would work, it had to.

"We would like to put you in a clean room until they leave, but to be believable Levi would have to stay out of it." She said asking for permission. "They won't be able to get into the clean room unless they have clearance."

Eren at this point had gone into hysteria in his head, on the outside he was shaking with fear with an emotionless glassy stare. He looked to Levi for guidance his brain was in no state to make little decision, let alone a big one like this.

Levi agreed with the nurse and cupped Eren's face, "don't worry, it will only be for a few hours, and this time I know for sure you will be safe." Levi said kissing his forehead. 

Eren nodded and calmed himself down enough to tell Levi how much he loved him with a shaky voice.

"Just to be sure Levi will have the security guards number, I've already filled him in." The nurse said calling in the other nurses to move Eren's bed.

Eren grabbed Levi's hand in a panic as they were rushing him to the clean room. "Stay out of their sight, if they know you are with me-." Eren paused as tears slipped from his eyes. "They'll hurt you, or-or worse."

Levi nodded as they reached the clean room. "I'll stay out of sight, don't worry." Levi said as he leaned down kissing his boyfriend one last time before he was emitted inside the clean room. He savored the kiss making sure Eren felt the love behind it.

Eren smiled at Levi as the doors opened and closed behind him.

"You will be able to talk to people outside through this mic." The nurse explained pointing at the mic on the table next to him along with the mic on the other side of the glass.

The nurses left and Levi got on the mic telling him that he could call him on his phone anytime, and that he would be watching the hall to make sure Eren had a heads up before anyone came.

Eren thanked him before say one thing that was stuck on his mind. "This is like a prison. It's funny, it always seems the innocent suffer more than the actual offenders." Eren said his statement throwing Levi off guard as his words held the truth that others before him could not speak.
