Levi finished up with the work he missed along with emails from his confused students about the substitutes teaching methods. While Mikasa finished the homework she had missed from earlier. 'He was right, I really need to go to school tomorrow, if I miss any more lessons I'll fall behind and my grade will suffer.'  Levi had already told her that he wouldn't be at the school but instead giving her hourly updates on Eren's condition.

Levi had finished his work and looked up at Mikasa who seemed to have fallen asleep up against the wall after finishing her homework. 'Should I take her back to my house?' Levi thought as he noticed the uncomfortable position she was in. He shook his head knowing she wouldn't want to leave, and he didn't want to either.

'There's no point in waking her.' He thought before pulling his jacket off and laying it across her. "Goodnight Mikasa." He whispered lightly.

He went and sat back in his chair. He got comfortable and wrapped his hand around his lover's. "Goodnight Eren, I love you." He said with a faint sad smile before closing his eyes preparing to face the sleepless long night once more.

Eren let a soft smile slip as he heard Levi speak to him as if he was conscious. "I love you too, goodnight." He whispered 

Levi's eyes opened again hours later to see the light peering through the window. He had barely slept, he managed to get a few minutes here and there. His eyes were struggling to stay open even though he knew if he closed them he still wouldn't be able to sleep.

Levi closed his eye for them to open moments later to annoying vibrating in his pocket. There goes the alarm for him to take Mikasa to school. He looked up to see her sleeping, the bags under her eyes seemed worse than before from her restless sleep. He let out a sigh before walking over to her and gently shaking her arm.

"Time to get up." He whispered trying to be considerate. "Come on You have school." Levi sighed as he saw her panicked face. The torture from her dream still lingering in her eyes.

"Huh, oh." She said startled as she had jolted upright. "Let's get going." She said standing up and placing a kiss on her brother's forehead before whispering a "I'll be back."

They headed to Levi's house and took quick showers and threw on a change of clean clothes before heading to the school. She was getting out of the car when Levi wished her a good day. He made sure to wait until she got safely inside the school gate before driving away and heading back to the hospital.

On his way there he got a phone call from the nurse. "Is this Levi." She asked as she seemed to read the name off of a note he left.

"Yes it is, what is this about?" Levi asked panic hidden in the composed tone of voice he held.

"It's about Eren." She said hesitantly.
