Eren tried his best to help her with any problems she ran into to try and speedup the homework, but with as much time as he missed he seemed more confused than she did. "Sorry I was already bad at math. I guess missing a few days isn't helping." Eren laughed with a shrug as Mikasa finished the last problem by herself.

Mikasa giggled and yawned as she finished putting her backpack to the side. "Alright I think I'm going to sleep now." Mikasa said as she grabbed her jacket balling it up and putting it under her head. She leaned back and tried to move to get comfortable.

Eren watched as she uncomfortable craned her head to get comfortable. "Mikasa," Eren said clearing his strained throat. "Tomorrow night I want you to sleep at Levi's."

"I want to stay with you." She whispered as she felt a little panic. 'Is he pushing me away again?' Was the only thought she could think of at this time. She had no better explanation, for the moment, of why else he would be  telling her to stay away.

"You need to get a good night sleep," he continued. "You can't get that here." Eren said with a understanding smile. "You don't have to keep watch over me 24/7 now I'll be fine." Eren said patting his sister's hand lightly. "Just promise me you'll get some sleep tonight too." Eren mumbled as he felt his sore throat ache.

Mikasa nodded. She heard Eren's efforts to take care of her even though it hurt him to speak. He fought on through the pain. Even though the nurses told him to speak only when necessary for the time being he had ignored them to watch over his little sister. All her panicked assumptions had disappeared, as quickly as they came they were gone. 

She watched him lay his head down and sighed rubbing his throat to try and ease the slight pain. "Night Eren." Mikasa whispered laying her head down and closing her eyes. "Oh, and please after I leave listen to the nurses, try not to do anything that will hurt you to bad."

Eren nodded and told her goodnight. He waited for her to fall asleep before breaking down. His breakdown wasn't in sadness rather all of his feelings overwhelming him. He didn't know whether he was happy or stressed or what. He only slightly remembered being in the coma, but he had remembered seeing himself lay there, he remembered being outside his body. He remembered seeing all of his friends so sad because they thought they might lose them, that they cared so much about him. He couldn't remember much else. He of course felt joy but he couldn't identify the other feelings he was experiencing and he didn't think he ever will.

He was awake sobbing quietly into his hands for about an hour, he didn't know why but that apparently didn't stop him. His memory from while he was in the coma was brief only remembering a few little things from the short time outside his body. He knew a part of his memory was missing and it hurt his head to try and wrap around the idea. He also tried to remember what happened before the coma, those memories came in as clear as a crystal in the sun. It hurt him to remember the oh so clear events. The reason he was here, the reason he almost lost the only good things in his life.

After a little while Eren got a hold of himself and let out a smile. It was a real and true heartfelt smile when he saw Levi sleeping soundly for the first time in days. He gripped his lover's hand with a weak little squeeze. He ran his hand through his messy dark hair before leaning his head down and placing a soft kiss on the top of his head. To calm any remaining nerves that might be left over in his dreams.

Eren felt his eyes grow weary and decided it was time for him too, to get some shut eye. Especially after crying as much as he did. He took a quick glance at Levi's eyelids and saw that the bags under his eyes were less prominent, and all the tension had disappeared from his face. "Goodnight guys, glad to see you guys are finally getting a good nights rest." He said before his eyes couldn't struggle any longer to stay open drifting him into a deep sleep.
