Chapter Two

Choromatsu threw himself down onto a park bench and burst into tears, his arms and legs trembling.

His salty tears rushed down his face, some getting into his mouth. And though Choromatsu usually hated salty things (and salty people), the way his tears tasted only made him feel better as he choked and gagged.

Sniffing, for his nose had grown quite congested with snot from crying, Choromatsu rubbed his red, puffy eyes, his mouth hanging open as he tried to breathe more steadily.

"What's wrong with me..." Choromatsu thought, his chest jerking violently as distressed whimpers fell from his lips into the dead of night. "I'm not supposed to be like this..."

And sadly, thinking such simple thoughts made the anxious man burst into tears again.

"I-I can't d-do this anymore!" Choromatsu choked out grossly, biting his hands, hoping his sobs would be quieter. He didn't want to accidentally disturb anyone who might be walking in the park.

"Why am I so worried..." Choromatsu thought, tears still dripping down his face. "Why does it even matter..."

Choromatsu slumped down in the park bench, burying his face in his lap.

"I'm never going to be the brother they want me to be. I'm never going to live up to their expectations. I'm never going to earn their trust back...I'm never going to be anything but Choromatsu...just Choromatsu...I don't deserve to live..." Choromatsu thought, cringing in pain as his heart began to ache from his growing anxiety.

Back at home...

"Osomatsu nii-san!" Todomatsu yelled at the eldest brother. "Look what you did!"

"It's not my fault!" Osomatsu replied, putting his hands on his hips, glaring at all his brothers. "At least I care!"

"Care about what?" Karamatsu asked as Ichimatsu grabbed his black shades and threw them across the room.

"None of you seem the least bit concerned that Choromatsu has been acting a little off lately!" Osomatsu snapped angrily.

"It's not like we don't care..." Ichimatsu muttered. "It's just that we're all adults now and we don't need other people's help to get by in life..."

"Don't say that, nii-san!" Jyushimatsu exclaimed, clinging to Ichimatsu.

"What do you want me to do then?!" Osomatsu yelled, slamming his fist on the table again. "Chase after him?! No! He's an adult!"

"He's not entirely an adult yet," Todomatsu snickered, his mood completely changing.

"What makes a man an adult then, my brother?" Karamatsu asked, a smirk on his face.

"Choromatsu is still a vir-" Todomatsu stopped then snickered again. "What a loser."

"But Totty we all are!" Jyushimatsu laughed.

"No we're not," Todomatsu said, making a cute face as he took a selfie on his phone.

"WHAT?" the brothers yelled, looking at their youngest brother in shock.

"What?" Todomatsu repeated right back at them innocently. "But anyways, shouldn't you at least show you care by going to look for him, Osomatsu nii-san?"

Osomatsu sighed then arose to his feet, trying not to act angry.

"I guess so," Osomatsu replied, walking out of the room. "and if I don't find him, don't blame it on me. At least I was worried about him."
