Today is SMDJ's first-ever major concert in Seoul Dome. It's a dream come true. The whole group is still breathless realizing it's finally happening, their goal, their ultimate dream. And they're gonna enjoy every single second of this wonderful journey.

S3 have just ended a special stage at a variety show and they're just about to leave the dressing room with all their staffs.

"Where's Jeonghan hyung?" Soonyoung asks.

"He's out there again. You know where," Seungkwan just nudges.

They both know it's SMDJ's big event tonight. Jeonghan kept retweeting the event in his private tweeter account.

"Ah, hyung is just- Never mind. You coming?"

"Yeah, I'll just wait for Elkie. She's gonna be late for a bit."

"I'll see you there alright."

"Yeah."

Soonyoung walks out of the dressing room, while Seungkwan texts Elkie, who's still in the final quarter of the SMDJ concert happening in Seoul Stadium.

As the band tunes their instruments for the last song in the playlist, Seunghee stares at that dark corner amongst the crowd. He's there again, there at the rightmost corner of the front row, standing behind the cameras. He never missed any single big event for her. But he hasn't told her anything about it. It's hard for her, to see him like this, lurking in the shadows, again. And she's gonna make sure it's the last.

"Tonight, I just wanna sing this new song for someone very dear to me who's in the crowd right now," Seunghee starts, surprising her band mates, her fans and most especially, the person she's calling out to.

Minhyun, Dongho and Jonghyun are shocked. It's the last song and she's changing it, inserting some unknown song into the playlist herself, without their knowledge.

Jonghyun calls out silently to Minhyun, mouthing 'What is going on?!'. Dongho is peeking at Elkie at the side like "WTH?" But she doesn't even know about it too. Minhyun then gestures for them to calm down and just listen for a while. Seunghee must have a huge reason for this slipup.

"I know you're there. I know you've always been there. And I'm sorry-" her voice cracks and tears suddenly start falling. She earns some cheers from the audience but she continues to speak, "-that it's just now, that it took me so long to... to come back to you."

Her friends now have an idea. They just display forgiving expressions for her. So it's about time. So it's about him.

Seunghee continues to pour her heart out, "I know I've been hard on you. I know I wasted too much time, and I'm not gonna make you suffer anymore. This song is for you. I love you."

The crowd's screams and shouts are deafening, but it doesn't matter to her. Right now, all she wants is to tell him that starting from now, she's gonna fight for him.

She plays the intro and sings the song. The song they wrote together.

In the darkness, he's wide-eyed watching her. It seems like his waiting is now coming to an end and tears are falling down his cheeks, for the first time in a long time. He just can't believe it. She's making this bold gesture for him infront of the biggest crowd he can ever imagine. He asked for a sign, but this is more than he can ever ask for.

It's enchanting. A new side of SMDJ's vocalist just captured the crowd once again. She's mesmerizing, fans of the band have seen a new chapter of their music. And they welcome it warmly with the loudest cheers of the night.

Right after the song, the other members come over her and circle her with a hug. As the spotlight hits them and the crowd goes wild, they whisper to her. She's still in tears and she's completely letting all her pent-up frustrations tonight, in front of their biggest crowd ever.

Jonghyun says, "It's okay. You have this Seunghee."

Dongho adds, "You were great, you were perfect."

"He heard you, I'm sure. So let's get this night done so you finally can go to him," Minhyun encourages her.

Seunghee looks up to them and sees nothing but support. She's sorry she had to make a scene right here and now, "I'm sorry guys. I was just-"

"It's okay," Minhyun says and the others are smiling at her. "You ready now?"

She wipes her tears and nods. Then the show must go on for their very last track. They go back to their positions and get ready to play the music.

"Everyone, for our last track, Brighter!" she screams.

As the song proceeds and the crowds sing along with it, the person in the dark paces his way out of the venue.

The concert has ended and the band is having their after party for a successful sold-out one-night concert at the dome. But Seunghee chooses to stay in the hotel. It's been a long night. Her VIP room is at the right wing of the 13th floor.

She's frustrated. She searched for him after the concert and she never found him. What's the use of being there if he never intended to be with her again? It's so unfair. She went all out to declare her love and that she's coming back to him in the midst of her biggest breakthrough yet, and all she gets is a no show after all. She wants to punch him in the face, she wants to choke him for making her feel humiliated. All she just wants is to see him again, face to face, and talk things through if being together isn't possible yet. But what can she do right now? Nothing. Cuz he's nowhere to be found.

She walks the corridors to her room and reaches it. She enters her pitch-black room, not minding to open the lights. She walks in further and eventually, beams of light from the outside illuminates the room lightly. She lays down her bed and stares at the poorly lit celling in all sadness.

She sighs and her tears threaten to fall again. Why doesn't it end up like people want it to? She's really upset about it.

But as she drowns in her sorrows, her heart almost leaps when all the lights suddenly turn on. She freaks out and is about to scream, when a person falls down over her, refraining her from standing up.

The person looks straight down on her and with loving eyes as she wide-eyed looks back at him. When she realizes she's looking back at those pretty eyes she missed so much, her tears are now unstoppable.

Jeonghan is in the same room as her now, on all fours above her, staring dearly at her all this time.

"W-where have you been?" she starts nagging in tears. "I've been looking all over for you! I've-"

He cuts her out by kissing her, by touching her face that he longed for, by embracing her tightly with all the love in the world. She kisses back with the same passion, with the same yearning, with the same amount of unconditional and uncontrollable love. And today, as of this very night, they are finally together again.

Wrapped in the sheets, Seunghee sits at the corner table and stares outside the glass wall of the room, looking down the streets. Jeonghan is sitting right behind her, half-naked, with her sitting before him, cuddling close. He has his arms around her waist and his chin leans on her shoulder, planting small kisses as they watch the busy city lights together.

"Jeonghan-ah," she says.

"Hm?" he replies.

She lets out a sad smile, "I just want to call out your name again. As often as I could."

He chuckles, "Yeah, you can do that."

"How did you get in here anyways?" she's still puzzled about it.

"Well, I have my connections."

Thinking about it, it makes him smile.

Flashback – Just earlier this evening, right after the concert

SMDJ is having their final bow as a group. When he walks over Elkie, backstage.

"Elkie-ssi," he calls.

Elkie turns and is totally surprised to see him. "So you're really here Jeonghan-ssi..."

"Yeah," he smiles shyly at her. "Well, if you don't mind, I have a favor to ask."

"Wait, I do mind," she walks over him and tells him in the face. "Please, don't make unnie cry anymore and please don't make her cry ever again."

She stares straight into his eyes and he knows exactly what she means. She's just being the protective best friend of the love of his life.

He obliges and nods. "Yes. I will never do that again. So can you do me a favor?"

She finally agrees and that's how he got the keys to her room and waited there till she arrives.

End of flashback

Jeonghan hugs Seunghee tight and says, "There's something I want to give you."

"Hm?" she's curious about what it is.

He lets go, turns her around slightly, stares into her eyes and says the magical words, "Seunghee-ya, will you marry me?"

Seunghee's eyes widen as he put out a small box from his pocket. He opens it and it contains the most beautiful engagement ring in the world. This time, she can't hold back her tears again. This utter surprise is happening right before they officially get back together. He doesn't intend to let her go anymore and she's overjoyed, he's finally, finally staying for good.

He wipes her tears away with his fingers saying, "No, don't cry. I promised Elkie I won't ever make you cry again."

But she continues to let her tears fall without uttering a single word.

"So what's your answer?" he's slightly nervous about how she's going to take it. It's not the most romantic setting or the most dreamy time, but he doesn't prefer to prolong it any other way. He wants to be with her, starting from now to forever.

Staring at him, it still doesn't seem real that after all these years, her feelings never changed. And there's nothing but euphoria now that she knows he feels exactly the same. She knows she wants to spend the rest of her life with him and she's gonna do just that.

She finally giggles and says, "Yes, I will. I will marry you Jeonghan-ah!"

All his worries fade as she flocks into his arms and gives him a tender embrace. They carry supreme happiness on their faces with the undying love they have for each other.

Their sufferings have finally ended. Their longings are finally fulfilled. And the future waiting for them will be the only thing they'll have to worry about. Jeonghan and Seunghee will now face their new chapter, together forever.
