Anti reacted in less than a second when the shadow of Dark loomed over the staircase. He threw himself up to the door and slammed it shut, locking it. "The key to Mark's chains are in the top drawer. Go! Quickly through the back door!" He yelled to the two lovers. 

Jack finally snapped out of his daze and scrambled to the top drawer in the desk full of torture. He quickly found what he was looking for, a bronze key, as Dark began banging on the door.

"Anti, open the fucking door!" Mark's counter part growled so deeply that it made the whole room turn colder. Jack's hands were shaking as he slowly managed to unlock every chain holding Mark down. The two lovers exchanged a brief hug, which was all they could manage at this moment.

"Please go! I don't know how long I can hold him," Anti was starting to tear up from the pain of holding down a door on its last few hinges, while Dark slammed into it like a sledgehammer. Jack looked at the Irish demon with fear, "we can't just leave you here. He'll kill you!"

Anti let out a pained chuckle, "I'll be ok. Go, live your lives and be happy together.." Jack teared up as he stared at his counter part. He shouldn't be feeling any sympathy towards this creature... but for some reason, he felt like his heart was breaking when they had to leave him. He may be an evil, manipulative demon that deserved no common courtesy. But Jack felt obliged to want to keep him safe. Maybe that's exactly what Anti felt when he decided to help them.

Mark gently nudged Jack to the back door and quickly unlocking it, "we'll come back for you. I promise," he choked out and Anti just shook his head. "Don't worry about me. Worry about yourselves. Take care of him for me, ok?" He said to Mark who simply nodded in return as he got the door open.

Mark pushed Jack through the door and slammed it shut just as the door by the staircase crashed off its hinges. Anti fell down the stairs and landed on the floor with a groan, splinters and metal pieces flying all around him. Dark stood at the top of the staircase with coal black eyes, a tar like mist floating around him. He looked more furious than Anti had ever seen him and it was truly a terrifying sight.

"You fucking idiot! Do you realize what you've done?!" Dark yelled in a demonic voice that could silence the devil himself. Anti didn't answer as he stared up at the man before him, the man he thought loved him, in fear, confusion, but most of all hurt.

Dark growled as he stalked past the demon on the floor, aiming for the back door that Mark and Jack passed through just moments ago. "No matter, they can't outrun a demon. You stay here, I'll deal with you later." He said the last part in a way that meant Anti would probably not survive.

"No!" Anti screeched and grabbed at Dark's foot, making the man stumble and fall to the ground. He stared back at the Irish demon in shock for a few seconds, for no one had ever been brave enough to stand against him. Dark quickly got over his shock and let out a low growl, "Anti... I'm giving you three seconds to let go of me. Or that head of yours will be ripped off your shoulders." He spoke so calmly that it sent goosebumps up Anti's whole body.

"One."

Anti's breath caught in his throat. He had to think of something, quick. He made it a promise to himself that he'd protect Jack from this monster at any costs. Even if it meant his life.

"Two."

Anti looked around for anything that could stop Dark, distract him. He just needed to keep him distracted long enough for Jack and Mark to get away. He paused when an idea popped in his head. It was the last thing he ever wanted to do but right now it was the only option.

"Three." 

Before Dark could even get the word out, Anti sprung up and stood in a fighting position. The half Korean demon let out a dry chuckle as he stood, "how cute. You think you can come up against me. I will tear you apart little man!"

Anti teared up and clenched his fists, "you said you loved me! You said you cared and promised all of this was for us to be together!" He yelled through a sob, all the while, inching in front of the back door. He knew right now was not the time to talk about their love life, but he felt he needed to get some answers right now before he went through with his plan.

"Oh Anti, how naive and ignorant your mind is. So easy to manipulate, so easy to turn you into my little puppet," Dark spoke with a smirk, his fangs showing a little as his words came out as bitter spits of venom. Anti's face paled and his body started shaking slightly.

"Wh... what are you saying?" He couldn't keep the shaking from his voice as he stumbled back a bit.

"What I'm saying is. I never loved you, or cared. I find you quite annoying actually, with that awful giggle of yours. Everything I've ever done is for my benefit and my benefit alone. That includes pretending to be infatuated with you." The words cut through Anti like a hot knife through butter. He could actually hear his heart breaking.

Dark took this opportunity of weakness to tackle Anti down to the ground. Anti had only a second to get out of his daze before narrowly dodging a swipe of claws to his face. He managed to roll on top of Dark after a few attempts and pinned the demon down. But Dark was way stronger and quickly gained the upper hand again. The two rolled around for a few more minutes, each trying to dominate the other.

Finally, Dark had him pinned down with his wrists above his head. Anti stared up at the man he loved with horror as Dark raised his claws into the air. That looked like a life ending blow. Anti's plan failed. He'll never be able to protect Jack from Dark because he'll be dead.

Unless...

As Dark's claws came down, seeming like it was in slow motion. Anti muttered something under his breath and the ground immediately disappeared beneath them. Dark's attack stopped right by Anti's face as they fell deeper into the void Anti created. He tried reaching out to stop himself from falling any further, refusing to go back to that place they were born. 

But it was too late.

Anti had opened a portal to hell and that was where the shall go
